Score from 259 reviews Very good
Great location, easy accessible and in the middle of Soho.
Old, dirty and trashy interior. Staff was not very well behaved. But for just sleeping and exploring the city this is a great place!
Perhaps the location was ok
Smelly room, loud noise coming from building airco, overall run down look and feel, rude personnel
The location is good if you want SoHo. The beds are fine, and the hotel cleaning staff are well-mannered and courteous. The room itself was clean but the carpetting absolutely stank of a foot-odour-like smell. (Repulsive)
The hotel clerks at front desk are not well-mannered. Asympathetic/nonchalant. The bathroom is from the 80s at best. Old-school tub and curtain, old tiling, no dispensers of shampoo, bodywash, etc. No water bottles in your room. Btw not a cheap stay. Ran me over $700 for 2 nights stay for a standard room with 2 double beds.
There was no hot water for the shower
Location is good. Easy to go everywhere you want to visit in New York. Kindly stuff.
Room is small. Not enough space for opening two 29" luggage.
The value for money is like everyghing in nyc
My room was clean, comfortable, and the bed and pillows were, as usual, for a Holiday Inn, the best. The room was a perfect size for a solo traveler and could see how it could be a tad tight for two. But, when I'm visiting NYC I'm hardly in the room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
I wish the restaurant/ bar opened earlier than 5:30.
The staff was great location was great every thing was great 1 thing I would change is check in time. To late after long flights to New York
Check in time is to late!
The location was very good.
The hotel is very tired! Carpets were dirty looking and old. Room was very small. Bath room was small, used soap was left, used containers were not discarded, no shower gel. The bed and pillows were too soft. I will not return!
Primarily location, great staff, breakfast buffet, comfortable quiet rooms.
The fact that the hotel has been sold and will not be a member of the Holiday-Inn family!
The location is amasing, in the midst of sohl and close to the lower east side. Bery easy to get around,
Problems getting in the room, keys didnt always work and at one point it took over 30 min to let us in oir room.. The staff was not very helpful when this happened.
comfort, room, bathroom, old, needs renovation asap
its not luxury but its a solid second place. It has all you need, decor is a bit dated and dull, but its clean, the staff are excellent and the location is fine, Canal St subway is 2 minutes away.
The security was a little lax, it is possible to come into the first floor foyer, with no hotel key, and there was a strange chap sitting in the their one day and no one asked him to leave
Front office Stafff need more friendly Bez we r far from Newyork and frist time alone so need very friendly when I was in frist day at my room I was so scrad Bez of front pepoule attitude.. I feel I want run away from newyourk as soon as,, but few day day I was friendship with few guys in close to Hoteal they rbruning c classs shop in down stair..Hoteal proppertyyyy.. Need guide to some one,, Thnk you...
Everything is old have not invested in this hotel for years - windows very dirty
staff very unfreindly
Location, cleanliness, comfort
A little tired around the edges, eg bathrooms
Bad value for money - room windows not clean very old and noisy arco
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Strong wifi everywhere in hotel. Good facilities, with very comfortable beds!
It was very expensive to stay there. The breakfast worked out as $50 for 2 persons.
+ locations + staff are very efficients
- Rooms are too small for king size bed - Air condition was very noisy
The location - it was easy to travel around Manhattan. The staff were easy to interact with.
The lobby and hotel rooms were a bit grimy. It looked like the carpets needed shampooing or even vaccuming. I wore my slippers the whole time. The shower curtain in bathroom smelled of pee (sorry - I'm just being honest...) There was no fridge in the room.
The room was clean and the facilities were good. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good and the prices were reasonable.
So close to Chinatown and Little Italy that you can always find good food. Broadway and shops are two blocks away. Easy to catch a cab and subway stop is just down the block.
Clean, very comfortable bed, nicer room than I expected for the price
