Clean, very comfortable bed, nicer room than I expected for the price
Cheap and comfortable
Average area but great for the price
Love the city and vibe
Very nice & clean hotel, good service & friendly staff.
It's not be the most desirable location in the city, but the quality of the hotel makes up for it.
Proximity to subway and ferries. Different angle on NYC
Grittier for the kids
room looked dirty, had a musty smell, water pressure in the shower was inconsistent.
A great base for a holiday in Manhattan - busy neighbourhood, close to subway. Close to Broadway - good shopping and culture.
Thought the decor was a bit tired. Also we were given a wheelchair room which could hardly fit the chair. This in our opinion should not be marketed as a wheelchair room. Room 701 - 7th floor. A fridge would have been good and better tea/coffee facilities.
Almost everything about this hotel is acceptable for middle of the road travellers to NY. Beds were excellent. Value for money hotel for NY which is always expensive. I will refer this hotel to anyone.
Error made by the hotel in authorising funds for holding room. Double the amount was taken as authorisation. Hotel Manager then bent over backwards to assist in rectifying the error. Dont like hotels in NY holding an authosation amount for the whole of the stay and would prefer to pay for one nights accommodation in advance instead.
There was no air conditioning in the lobby working. The gym facility sucked ! All the machines were broken !!! The prices for breakfast were unrealistic and absurd !!! Everything is extra !!!
size of room, no fridge
They do not give foemal recepit
Location and friendly staff
- Safe was not working - Unable to get Queen size beds
Pretzels beneath the bed revealed that the cleaning could be done better.
The quality of hotel was very weak in compare with other hotels that I was. The service of room was bad and food diversity was low.
Central location in easy walking distance to Soho, Little Italy and the subway
Hotel was comfortable, however a little on the tired side. This was my first trip to NYC so a little hard to benchmark value for money.
one of the days my room was left uncleaned and was not cleaned. very poor service
tiny room for two beds and two people. window air conditioner noisy get used to the subway rumbling!
Position for lower east side
Dirty, stained carpets, broken light switches. Subway outside very noisy Air conditioners thru the windows let in street and subway noise Cramped room Generally tired
The location was perfect for anyone wanting to shop and exlore Soho. The staff was very responsive and helpful. They were great about giving info about sightseeing, transportation, etc.Check in and check out was seamless and done with a smile. The bellmen were warm and helpful as well.
Loved the fresh cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. All staff were friendly and the location was ideal for getting around NY.
Good location: few steps from subway, walking distance to financial district, Brooklyn bridge and etc. It's convenient for us to catch a Chinese operation tour to Niagara fall on the following day. The room had lots of space and it was very clean.
Internet is quiet slow but it is free. So, I think it is acceptable. The neighborhood is kinda scary at night. We walked back around 9.00 pm and everything seemed closed.
bad air and very high price
They let me check in early
I booked double beds online and got one king bed and the room was too small
Good location. Spacious room. Housekeeping excellent.
Unfriendly staff member on arrival; booked through booking.com which has usually presenter no problems; despite the fact I had receipt for room with two double beds I was given room with one double bed. Staff member insisted mistake was my fault despite the fact I had a print out of what I had requested. Despite this evidence I was told I had not ordered a room with two double beds! Hotel was very impersonalq and despite good housekeeping in rooms it had a number of issues that could easily have been remedied; minimal clothes hangers couldn't hang in space provided due to silly installation, drawers couldn't shut in cabinet by bed, ironing board couldn't collapse, ice machines on all but one floor didn't work. All in all, a soulless hotel experience in what should have been a special holiday.
