The staff was friendly. They were very welcoming and had our necessities ready for us.
The toilet was leaking. My husband fixed it. One of the ladies didn't clean our room.
Only two good things: they refunded our money and the bed was reasonably comfortable.
Bathroom door handle was broken and my husband and I each got trapped in the bathroom. Only one half roll of toilet paper. AC sounded like a Mac truck all night (in Phoenix). Breakfast, eggs, bacon, etc. was stone cold and nobody cared. Room rate was $237, not cheap in my book and a real rip off.
The hotel itself was very clean. Staff was friendly enough. Just a smile when we walked through the lobby. Close to St. Joseph Hospital were my father was having surgery. My sister, daughter and I were in the room with 2 beds.
Only about 30-40 car spaces at the hotel. If they were taken, had to walk at least .5 miles to a dark dingy parking garage. And down a very dark street to get back to the hotel entrance. Last day, standing outside, saw hotel staff park in the stalls in front of the hotel. Also, for the price we paid for a 2 night stay, $538.76, I would expect to at least have donuts or something in the morning available. The cost for any breakfast was $8.95 which was a buffet. The buffet was very simple. Standard and limited breakfast. Staying at this hotel with the hopes of your family surviving an operation was too stressful having to worry about parking and the cost of food.
Very conveniently located, friendly staff -- especially the guy who takes care of guests in the breakfast buffet area.
It's starting to get a bit run down, and there doesn't appear to be much effort to fix it up. Examples: weight room "temporarily" out of order during our entire one-week stay, exit door "repaired" with duct tape.
The staff very polite and friendly
I like everything I was very happy stayed in this hotel
The front desk was friendly however I was charged twice.
There was not enough parking. We had to walk quite the distance into a "shared" parking garage. The parking garage was dark and grimy with broken doors. I did not feel safe. After parking , I noticed an adult store as I was walking back which didnt comfort me any more than the parking lot. I will not stay here again.
It has been a while since staying at a Holiday Inn. I was greeted by a lobby that was very clean and contemporary. The room was also very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was accommodating and quick to respond. First hotel that called after an hour to ask if we were comfortable in this room. Nice touch. Not a plush resort, but very nice place to stay while visiting Phoenix. Highly recommend.
Manny the Hotel Manager was very apologetic and we did receive two free drinks from the bar for the trouble of our room not being ready. The bartender/server handled the kitchen staff problems with dignity, and a level of professionalism rarely seen anymore. I applaud him for his patience working with such a group of disgraceful employees.
Kitchen staff were extremely rude. Food was abysmal. The wait time from order to service was over an hour. The head cook seemed to be having a very public and very distressing nervous break down in front of a number of guests during dinner hours. Our room wasn't ready at the time of our arrival.
The noise comin from air vent even though it was turned off and not being able to open any windows
One of our rooms had no cold water during our stay. The other room was way too hot, mentioned it to the staff but it stayed the same.
the staff were generally friendly and accomodating. the environment was equally okay.wi. fi was perfect too.
This hotel is in need of refurbishing. Everything is well used. The staff is friendly the location is good
I would have liked to have the bathrooms remodeled
Parking garage down the street. Hotel room was clean but common area has had some noticeable wear.
The room was very clean we did have issues with our air conditioner which we brought to the attention of the person downstairs at the counter (Jesus) his name was , and he immediately moved us to a different room with no hesitation we will definitely stay there again it was a very pleasant experience .The breakfast was pretty good as well.
Our room was very nice, spacious, and clean. The staff was informative and helpful. Check in and check out was the easiest I have ever experienced.
Parking is non existant. There are very few spots near the entrance. We were lucky enough to get a spot upon arrival. We left to go eat and from then on for the rest of the stay we had to park down the street at overflow lot and walk. WiFi password didn't work, but luckily I travel with my own.
Central location, nice room with view of the pool, comfortable bed
Room was missing the room number on the door, walked right passed it. Electricity plate cover for the outlet was 1/2 broken and when I plugged in my charger it fell out. No continental breakfast. Parking situation is inconvenient.
Love that we walked into a cool temperature room.a/c was already running. Made it very comfortable for us which we come from a cool climate. Arizona weather was a bit hot for us .
Breakfast buffet . Unfortunately nothing was good tasteless.
Manny the Manager was so helpful. We were not booked near the airport as requested. He made all the arrangements for us at the Holiday Inn by the Airport Hotel. The lobby of this hotel looked wonderful!!!!
On booking we asked for a hotel near the airport, that had a shuttle to the airport and parking for our vehicle while gone. The hotel we were booked at was way far away from the airport, had no shuttle's to the air port and parking was not supervised. The Manager Manny was so helpful.
CLOSE TO THE BALL PARK :)
Good breakfast buffet
The pool was a little small
value for the money.
Too cold, no heat. Dripping shower faucet.
convenient location right down the street from the convention center comfortable beds comfortable sitting room nice variety on buffet -
bathroom very small with odd configuration - hard to close door due to position of toilet out of waffles/pancakes
Great staff, clean room, wonderful bartender
No shuttle. Cab only to the airport. Needs to be changed in booking .com description.
The parking was an issue. We arrived at 1:30am from a late flight and the parking garage was a block away. This hotel is in a part of town, that in my opinion, you would not want to be out at night.
Location was very convenient and lots of great choices on where to eat. The breakfast served daily was easy to use, clean, and had selections for all types of appetites. Best part was you did not have to get dressed in regular street attire and drive somewhere to eat. Just put on your sweat pants and shirt or top, walk into the lobby, and all was provided! It saves money too!
