Staff was great. Also the rooftop bar was the best view.
cleanliness, friendly staff, comfortable and good size room.
was not aware the restaurant was under renovation.
looks like kind. location is good
wifi speed is so slow. the window of room of 2nd floor was closed. it's so hard for me.
location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room.
wasn't aware the restaurant was under renovation.
Modern, clean, and comfortable.
Parking $30 a day
The location, with the Empire State Building watching over us, is fantastic and the people are great, personable and friendly. The rooms are bigger than other hotels in which we've stayed in NY.
At $20 per person, in spite of the view from the roof top, the breakfast buffet seems poor value for money for a family of four. The gym is freezing. The mini bar was empty.
Location, friendliness of the staff.
Wifi was terrible, and apparently the front desk used the same wifi as well. I would have assumed they would have been hard wired in, but I guess not. The hotel ran out of toothpaste, so we got none, and you have to ask if you want shampoo or conditioner, why provide showers and not these necessities? Also no fans in the bathroom.
Proximity to the subway trains
Lack of blackout drapes to keep out the morning light
Location - close to landmarks and public trasportation
The cost - high room rate and $20 breakfast per person was ridiculous
Great location and very quiet.
No change in the whole building of a $50 bill at breakfast. Bed a little bit too large for the room size. Had to keep squeezing past each other. No fridge in room.
TV was intermittent. Air conditioner was loud and not very effective.
Boring looking lobby
We arrived the hotel at about 10:00am and we can check-in early without extra charges. Close to many attractions, bus stations and subway.
Wi-Fi is slow.
Cleaning of room was rather sporatic. 4 out of 7 days we had no towels in the room and had to call hosekeeping. Waiter in breakfest restaurant was directly inpolite.
The whole experience
My parcel was not given to me
Good location. Small room, but clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly.
Wi-Fi speed very slow. Breakfast could be free.
Great location; very clean, relatively large rooms
If you have breakfast included, there is not the greatest choice that you are allowed of the menu, looks like a $10 limit, they started to trial breakfast on the rooftop, but that still seems to need refining, things sitting out in the open in the sun, butter was poured onto toast!! Could have done with some shade as it was extremely hot up there in the sun.
Hotel should have breakfast inclusive in the price. No pickup facility and cold water facility for guest, poor.
Nice area to walk to get to uptown an downtown attractions. not far from the train station. nice view from the roof top bar of the empire state building. food for breakfst was very good. clean and modern fixtures in the room.
only one wash cloth for 4 people. requested 4 sets of towels when we arrived and received no wash cloths. I guess wash cloth is not part of a set at the midtown Holiday Inn. Had some trouble with our waitress being inattentive during our last breakfast meal.
We really enjoyed our time at the Holiday Inn Midtown. The room was very clean and well furnished. Bathroom and shower were spotless. It's located in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square but definitely within walking distance. There is a fabulous restaurant across the road, Azya Wine & Chocolate Bar - they have THE best steak ever and desserts are divine!
Cannot fault this hotel, would definitely stay here again.
Great location Comfortable rooms Friendly helpful front desk
Roof top bar staff very poor.
the hotel is very accessible. small room but otherwise clean and comfortable.
Excelent Iocation right in the heart of Manhattan between 5th. Ave and Broadway. Within walking distance to Empire State building, Times Square, Central Park and many more attractions. Clean, good staff, prompt room service, large room with King size bed, TV, microwave oven, mini refrigirator, coffee maker, safe and hair dryer.
There is no possibility to add additional beds. WIFI speed is annoyingly slowwwwwww.
