Holiday Inn National Airport/Crystal City    

No vending machines with food.

The booking service stated that parking was free for guest. However upon my arrival the desk clerk stated that I would be charged $16.00 a day for parking. I do not like being told one thing by one site and upon arrival at the site I am told another thing. I call the Hotel before my arrival and it was confirmed that guest parking was free.

Safe relatively clean near Metro

Used tissue from previous consumer stuck to bathroom wall by trash can Didn't get new wash cloths nor tea bags after the first night--did get them after left a note to maid.

The staff was very friendly and professional. Every person we interacted with went above and beyond their responsibilities to ensure our needs were met. For example, were at the hotel because we had missed our flight and came in around 2 am. The front desk people were very understanding and empathetic to our experience. Our shuttle drivers, Mohammed and Phil were very professional and friendly. Phil even found us in the terminal to bring my son his backpack full of toys that was left on the seat of the van. Also, the staff in the diner was very accomodating and helpful in terms of our exhaustion and desire to eat our meals in our room. We had only very positive experiences with the staff. They should be rewarded and recognized for their level of service, something that is sorely lacking in most of society today. When we return to dc, we will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn again.

Lack of hot water in the bathroom

Reasonable price, given the ridiculous, overpriced hotels throughout Washington, DC. Relatively close to the Crystal City Metro stop. The staff seemed generally friendly.

General mediocrity: 1. Intermittent wireless internet connection in my room. 2. No safe-deposit box in room. 3. On-site restaurant had poor food and terrible coffee. 4. Airport shuttle was difficult to use when arriving at airport. It was OK when traveling to the airport however.

Great shuttle service - picked us up at The Metro, and frequent service to Reagan Airport

Rugs in hallways could use shampooing,,noisy air conditioners,paper thin walls,I won't stay here again.

Close to airport

Free shuttles picked us up to airport and took us to wrong holiday inn, and driver refuse to take us back to airport we end up using the taxi and cost us $20.00 to get us to the hotel. And nobody seemed to care about what happens including the shuttle co. And hotel staff.

Location was convenient to restaurants and the airport. The shuttle made it potentially easy access to the metro.

Thye did not clean the room everyday and the shuttle service was uneven.

Staff was friendly and very helpful and it was nice having a shuttle at the hotel when we needed it.

Didn't realize that we needed to call the shuttle when we got into the city since others kept going by at the airport so we hopped on co-workers shuttle and walked with our suitcases from Radisson. Most of the time the shuttle service was good but a few times the wait was very long after we called. I am from Canada and didn't want to pay roaming and long distance charges to call for the shuttle so it wasn't always easy to find a pay phone and because we couldn't find one at Pentagon mall, we walked to the hotel.

Their Shuttle driver MR MILKI was outstanding! Very helpful and accommodating. We will come back just for that service.

Computer down at check out. Still haven't receive a bill. We need for tax records.

Food is good.

The staff answer phone calls very slowly, and many times they just hung it up.

2 minutes drive from the airport, very convenient, lots of bars and restaurant around. Great location.

Wish the staff would have told us where everything was didnt know they had a bar on the inside was looking for a fitness center but I didn't see it

The hotel was clean and nice. Restaurants were good..we only stayed for one night. Had to leave Maine one day early due to snow storm, so this hotel was near the airport to meet our flight the next day.

Location is close to the airport. Price is very reasonable for a clean and comfortable hotel in DC.

Not too much in the direct vicinity of the hotel although some good restaurants on 23rd (about a 10 minute walk). Nearest metro stop is 0.7 miles away in Crystal City.

I loved the restaurants located in the hotel. The staff was super friendly, the food was good (considering that I am vegetarian) and the music was just great. The room was very nice!

The hair dryer was not working!

Location and the bed was very comfortable.

Although we only spent one night there and were due to check out the next morning, housekeeping was knocking on our door at 8:25 AM. We did not have the "do not disturb" sign on the door but we would think that housekeeping is given a list of departing customers and should be notified when they have checked out. It was irritating to be disturbed and thank goodness we were already awake. We talked with the front desk staff when we checked out and they were very apologetic. A process should be put in place to avoid this.

I ordered room service and was not impressed with the taste of the food at all.

Nice swift pick up from the Airport and then a good drop off back to the airport. Had a nice stay overall.
