Staff and location, some blocks away from canal street and near a tram stop.
The noise from windows, they must be changed. The USD16 breakfast voucher was not enough to pay the food, bevarages and tip. We've tried the buffet and al-carte options but at the end we had to pay something, always.
great hotel. and staff are pretty good. Very friendly etc. relatively convenient to downtown and of course on the doorstep of the superdome. Overall a good hotel.
concierge service less than expected. didn't know some things and on the sunday of our stay gave us advice about visiting a plantation house. so we drove 90 mins each way to a closed house....think we were charged twice for our stay - we are checking it out at the moment
The hotel was several blocks from Canal Street and the trolley, but it didn't take long to walk there from the hotel. A breakfast voucher was included in the accommodation cost for up to $16/person, but it didn't include taxes, gratuities and beverages. We were able to arrange for a taxi for an early morning trip to the airport and the driver was there. We also found the male Concierge helpful, but two other different female Concierges who were filling in at times over the four days didn't seem to be that conversant with what was going on.
Even though we had a confirmation from Booking.com, the hotel did not show that we had a reservation for four nights when we arrived. In fact, they had shown that we were supposed to check in the day before we arrived and had charged that night to our credit card. It took a little while to sort it out, but they reversed the credit card charges for that night. The buffet breakfast wasn't that spectacular. We had also arranged for a city bus tour, but weren't notified that the bus had arrived, as was promised, and ended up having to reschedule the tour for the next day.
It was a great experience, definitely top 10
Nice rooms, good bed, clean and tidy. Seemed like a nice and relatively safe neighborhood. Close to everything, but still in a more quiet area. Tram nearby.
Expensive (but good) parking. Expensive (but good) breakfast. A little arrogant bar staff. People from the street used the bar bathroom for "not legit" business.
Staff was friendly enough husseled when we called for maintenance when the HUGE roach flew into our room. The balcony was nice and big.
The pool view was horrible. It's quite possible the building next door may collapse at anytime. Also no hot tub which is ridiculous considering the gross building blocks the sun most of the day. Vending machine ripped us off.
Do to timing there wasn't a lot of traffic in or out of hotel. Staff were friendly Overall, okay stay, nothing exciting.
Location wasn't great for vacationing being so close to the hospital, sirens went off constantly. Not a great site for walking to shops or restaurant. We purchased thru 3rd party had to pay additional for parking. Refrigerator froze the water and food.
Parking was very good and easy to get to room from garage. People behind the desk were so helpful and nice.
Coffee pot didn't work and parking expensive.
The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. Front desk staff was very nice also. We had a great time.
Restaurant closed kind of early. We were starving after an event at the superdome, but restaurant was closed when we returned to the hotel.
Close to superdome. Within walking distance.
Restaurant and room service only open at certain times.
Room is very big
Good room rates, but breakfast is too expensive (25$!).
Convenient, was walking distance to the superdome and bourbon street. Staff was friendly!!!
The only thing I didn't like was having to pay $30 for parking.
Location is perfect and room size
Saw insects , requires fumigation
Staff friendly, modern decor, large rooms, close to French quarter
Close to medical district so if you're a light sleeper you'll be woken frequently by sirens, loud airconditioner.
Close to the French quarter whilst relatively cheap. good rooms with decent beds
I loved everything about the hotel. It was just what I needed.
Walking distance to Bourbon Street. Staff was very friendly. Military friendly. Great view of downtown. Super comfortable beds. Rooms were very clean.
The fact that I paid good money to stay there but did not know up front I would have to pay so much just to park where I spent money to stay.
Walgreens nearby, big rooms, locate in front of a green area; quiet location; reasonable prices for breakfast/lunch/dinner
Staff was ignorent at times; could not open the windows because everything would get humid; ugly smell on the hall
The staff on the 11th floor day shift was the best. Friendly and helpful. The Front Desk Workers Were Pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay. I will be back. Thanks
Had problems with internet. Kept getting a "not a trusted system" message.
Everything and everyone were nice. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone. I will be returning.
The parking is overly priced.
The hotel was very clean
The hotel staff was not very friendly
Good location, friendly staff, comfortable beds.
Slight musty smell in the room.
