We liked Diana in the Lobby. A fantastic woman. Whe had an adress to a Vinyl musicstore. When ve got their the local vere empty, but she told us theirs new adress. She also told us about the best music pubs and the big market.
The staff went above and beyond during the entire stay. Very accommodating
We experienced a leak in the first room we stayed in
A late check out from friendly staff. Pool was fab. Staff advised us on how to make the best of our stay.
Dinner at the restaurant
the fact that we had to use 2 elevators to access our room. We had 2031 I'm just glad I'm a smaller person the bathroom is crammed.
The staff was excellent. They were very professional and were willing to please you in anyway. The Bellman could not have been nicer and knew w the city so they could help you with directions. The concierge was exceptional in her position too.
When we were checking in, the computer system was down and it took 30 minutes to check in. The next afternoon when the rest of the group came in, the computers were slow again. The Internet service in the room was not available for several hours after check in. One couple was put in a handicapped room by the elevator. That really was extremely noisy due to the elevator.
Rooms were nice no ventilation in bathrooms
Cus toner service
They are slow getting room ready. The cleaner need to get more inspection. Of there work by there boss. That very serious in these day and time.
the new floors appeared very clean ant the beds were comfortable
pool was closed half the time the hotel was under construction which tied up the elevator making a big deal about going up and down and parking for guest still cost an arm and a leg. the bathroom was tiny and the water turned off on me while i was in the shower, no notice
Central location between French Quarter and CBD, on lovely Royal Street.
Room was not ready for several hours after check-in time and little was done to rectify situation. Hotel is quite run down; Wyndham have recently taken over and are renovating but for the price I'd look elsewhere until they bring this property up to standard.
I like the location and I liked the second room much better than the first.
The first room we were placed in was 2015. The noise from the Elevators SCREAMED into this room. If we had not been moved to a different room where they were not as loud we would have had to ask for a refund. Hopefully, the elevator shafts or motors will get some renovations or some sound proofing!! There is no place to sit outside. Could not sit around the pool due to renovations. I didn't care that the pool was closed but would have liked to sit somewhere besides inside my room.
Location, location, location!
Hotel under renovation and all advertised amenities definitely not available :(
Some attempt to address problems and great location
Problems with rooms and really poor service when addressing some of them
very helpful and courteous staff
no bathroom linen and left overs from prior guest
I liked the location and the staff.
The room was outdated but it looked like they were in the process of renovating as certain floors were unavailable and we heard hammering and saw workman.
location and price, friendly faces nice staff...
NO AC in the elevators, long wait for them and the hallways were really hot also. :(
It took a long time to check in
The Fact that the front desk person did not pay attention and charged 2 rooms on my card. And then have gotten no responses yet from the hotel. There were extra parking charges added to my card aswell. Very unprofessional and the front desk lady was very rude.
Someone's Breakfast food tray was left on the floor for over a day. Not removed until I mentioned it to the front desk.
Location is very accessible to French Quarter and attractions. Room was nice and comfortable.
Wi-Fi was terrible to non existant. Could not work on my laptop in my room which is very important for business travellers. Room was not cleaned first day of my stay. Elevators are too frequently used by cleaning/construction staff. There was a long wait for the elevator and some were too crowded to get into. 10th floor fitness area was not accessible during my stay. There was construction work underway yet I did not see any signs to that effect. TV listings provided were not totally correct for the channel selection.
This hotel is right in the middle of everything. Just a shirt stroll to many bars and restaurants
Some of the staff need to re-think their job choices. Not everyone is made for the hospitality industry.
Staff extremely friendly and accomodating!
While the facility is in the process of completion of renovations, it wasn't one of the nicest hotels.
Location. Staff was great and very apologetic. King bedrooms nice. (We spent the first night in a room with 2 queen beds- not as spacious.) Everything is new.
Elevators were not working. A member of our party got stuck in the elevator for about 30 minutes. On that day we had to walk down 12 flights in a hot steamy stairwell. Construction noise beginning at 8:30 am. Dust and fumes. Extra small bathrooms.
The elevator was hot, construction was loud. The restroom too small. No mini fridge. Parking was expensive. Way to much money for the room.
Excellent location Great value for money Big secured carpark right next to hotel entrance (although with a charge)
on the second day we had water running through the ceiling from upstairs. Staff didnt seem to be bothered - said we would have to move rooms but to come back later that day. We packed our case and left it in the room expecting them to move it to the new room. We got back 5 hours later and no room move had happened - we ended up having to move ourselves. No apologies nor acknowledgement for the inconvenience was received. This really let the hotel down
