Good location with lots of good restaurants and bars at walking distance. The metro is just a few minutes away. I would definitely stay there again!
Narrow and small bathroom Slow elevator The hotel price is very expensive Deducted from Visa and you learn The hotel does not deserve one star
This hotel is a six minute walk from Lincoln Center and about the same 'distance' from Carnegie Hall. Our room was small but comfortable. The breakfast was ample and fresh.
The staff was very helpful and polite.. And the price of the room for last minute was ok..
The room I had the batteries on the lock was dying so I had a little bit of trouble getting in my room then the wifi quit working and so did the tv but other than that it was good.. It had a pool but I came in the winter so couldn't check it out
The soap change every day but had to ask every day for a tea bag!
Very comfortable and homey.
The bathroom smelled like mildew.
Good location, pleasant and helpful staff, comfortable and spacious bed in a big room. Perfect for our stay.
Will definitely stay here again!!
the room is pretty spacious. The people are pretty nice.
the counter in the bathroom is tiny. I don't know where to put my make-up bag. It takes ten minutes to walk to Metro station of Columbia circle.
Hotel foyer and front desk staff
We initially got Rm 604 and I could not believe that the AC did not have cooling, the carpet didn't look clean, the wardrobe was musty and untidy and it had no fridge. At my request we were moved to another room. The bellboy that picked up our luggages was ride and he dropped most of our bags on the trolley and closed the door at me. When asked to wait as we had shopping bags to also put on the trolley he said "I thought you were carrying those bags yourselves." He then proceeded to the elevator, down to the lobby and went all the way to the other elevator without us. I had to ask the front desk staff to find out where we were supposed to have been moved to and only then did I find out that we were moving to Rm 909. I eve had to get a spare key. To my disappointment, we found the other room
The bedbugs did not allow me to sleep well from the first night. When my husband and I inspected the bed that night, we found crumbs and hairs on the sheets and those were not ours!!.Very dirty and old rooms. Even when we got a room change, I didn't feel comfortable again. I had serious doubts of the overall cleanness of the hotel.
The staff was friendly and accommodating.
covered all basic needs
requires to provide security boxes in ALL rooms - it was necessary to seek change of room to satisfy this need - accomplished without difficulty
the room was decent and the house keeping staff was exceptional...should have had access to complementary breakfast though.
Didn't have access to a complementary breakfast.
Close to Subway
Well sized, quiet and clean rooms with a relaxed and homely feel in the communal areas - ticked all the boxes. Could easily have paid double for the same experience.
Location was excellent as was price. Room was very large with large comfortable beds.
Shower was poor. Water did not drain from tub. Other guests very noisy. We heard everything going on in other rooms. laughing and screaming until 3:30 am. We hardly got any sleep.
we got a really good deal on booking.com, so it was worth the stay. their regular prices are a bit too much, since it's an average hotel. the bed and room were comfy, and clean, but very small. the view was phenomenal and they have a fitness area.
reception staff wasn't very kind, check in/out line was long, and breakfast is EXTREMELY expensive.
My key card didnt work each time I tried to itilize it. When I went to the desk to inform the clerk (tall black young guy)he walk away and left me staning there. I went to another clerk who got security to escort me to my room. After the third time they gave me a new Keycard.
Close to 59th st subway, true walking distance to great restaurants
The snow !
The location, affordable , clean, restaurant in house. quiet rooms. Luggage storage facility!!
first time staying in a Dbl room, the room was small on the 16th floor, stayed January 2015 the room was freezing cold all night.
The weather (not a joke), the breakfast and the silence into the room.
