The air circulation, the room bathrooms, the bar is outdated,
location beds cleaning
inflexibility of the staff most of the staff does not speak native english breakfast
The view from the 6th floor
No fridge in the room, extremely slow wi-fi
location perfect staff friendly rooms clean
food portions for breakfast huge
The furniture in the room was fairly new and the location was good. It was also good that there were computers and a printer in the lobby.
The carpet in the room seemed really old and all in all the room needed renovating. The air in the room was a bit stuffy.
Excellent Customer service ! I travelled with my mother and we arrived few good hours earlier than 3 PM. Thé réceptionnist checked and advised that we could check-in earlier, Very confortable bed and a large room.
Location was great for us.We travled with two young girls and the walk to Times Square was so easy.10 minutes to our Broadway show to see Cinderella. Its close enough to the action ,but away from all the crowds. I will stay here again.
I should have booked with someone else. It was way over priced for what it was. Very disappointed.
Thin walls; we could hear all neighbors Old bathroom facility; leaking taps added another noise to our nights Unfriendly staff Price went up at check out with no reason
Good location within walking distance of sights.
Outdated lifts. Tacky dingy colours and cheapest possible carpets to hallways . Very dated bathroom . Disinterested staff.
The services; front desk, housekeeping and concierge
Doors slam when they close which disturbs my sleep No complimentary water, even just a bottle which is nice to take before sleeping
The hotel was very close to Central Park, bars & restaurants. It was comfortable. We were on the 16th Floor had had a great view of New York by night
The air con was ineffective. Toilet hadn't been cleaned properly On first night we stayed in the hotel for food and drinks as we had arrived quite late. The bartender told us that the menu in the restaurant was the same as the snacks in the bar. This wasn't the case - and as soon as he saw we were going to look for the restaurant he brought the correct menus. He just wanted us to stay in the bar for the gratuities
Size of room, especially travelling with teenagers and luggage. Lots of natural light coming from street window. Location is in a quieter area but still close enough to walk to Time Square and train station. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Pricing still very expensive for the Holiday Inn! No onsite parking. Private company operates car park adjacent to hotel. If possible, especially if arriving late at night and wanting to head out again, park out the front of hotel and off load luggage. Car park operator will charge you to park in driveway (which looks like it belongs to hotel) even for a very short time. Ok to use car park if wanting to garage car overnight. Just not economical to drive it in and out.
Convenient and WiFi.
Cold front desk staff. It said breakfast included on website, but I only got free breakfast for 2 people while I booked & paid for a 4 people's room. And there were 3 people in my group. The 3rd person had to paid for the breakfast. This is rubbish!
We had a very bad smell of humidity in our room , caused by a bathroom in a very unfresh status. The whole hotel gave an unfresh impression, incl also the breakfast-room.
my daughter misplaced her breakfast vouchers,so I went to reception who condescendgingly gave her room a replacement for that morning, adding I had to pay for the next two mornings. When we found the missing vouchers I brought one back. The next morning I was approached by waiter sonny who demanded I paid for breakfast for my daughters room from the day before.I told him we had handed in a voucher to cover that,he still insisted i pay as the bill was oustanding,I refused to discuss the matter further with him.As for dinner the service(head waiter) was indifferent.I had to ask for a pen to sign it to my room(07/10)after it was dumped on my table.wifi was bad and offen lost signal.worst FB service in my stays with different H:Inns around the world or any other hotel.house keeping maids was the only good thing about the hotel. No fridge in daughters room which had a baby cot requested, again fride was condescendingly delivered after being told we had to pay(not charged in the end
Good size rooms. Buffet breakfast was good value.
Too many school groups, noisy at night time.
Location -Times Square is walkable and good public transport links.Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms clean, comfortable and quiet but we did ask for high up rooms.Swimming pool.
Concierge very busy and long wait to speak to him. Could do with more lifts.
The employees are very friendly and helpful.
The rooms dont have a refrigerator. the furniture is old and the carpets are very ugly The restaurant and breakfast are very basic. the hotel needs urgent a overhauling
Near to every thing but not in the noisy centre..
Small area around sink
Excellent location near Columbus Circle, Broadway and restaurants and subway stations. Would recommend to anyone.
Liked almost everything that a clean basic room has to offer. Can't think of anything negative to say.
Nothing good if there was No hospitality...
Location Bed and bedding
Price was too high Charge to hold bags at desk Room was run down and had an odor Ice machine on our floor was out of order so had to go up 2 floors to get ice When had a question about bill after checkout was sent to voice mail twice, no one would talk to me until I called the manager
Walking distance to Central Park and many other places we wanted to visit.
Teaser that the pool "might" be open, but wasn't.
no coffee making or bar fridge
