Ideally located in Times Square, this Manhattan hotel has a 24-hour front desk. Edison Hotel - Triumph Group is just an 8-minute walk from Rockefeller Center and a 10-minute walk from Bryant Park.

In the heart of lower Manhattan, the Holiday Inn Manhattan - Financial District is the tallest Holiday Inn in the world. Free Wi-Fi access is available.
Score from 171 reviews Good
This Brooklyn hotel is less than a 1-minute walk from subway access and a 20-minute subway ride from downtown Manhattan. It features a 24-hour gym and free in-room Wi-Fi.
Score from 624 reviews Very good
No sound insulation between my room and next. Basic breakfast.
Cable tv on a nice size screen. everything else was pretty basic
Proximity to subway and food/grocery stores. Proximity to 42nd St and entertainment/bus/train. Value for money. Room service each day very good.
There's no refridgerator in the room, made keeping snacks/drinks cool difficult. Adjoining restaurant - meals plain and prices too high. We ate out, if food and prices here had been competitive we would've eaten in more.
Only a short walk to Central Park, the Lincoln Center (MET), great shops and restaurants a few blocks over. Parking was available ans reasonably priced. Rooms were good sized, updated and clean.
There was nothing I didn't like. Had this been intended as a "romantic New York get-a-way" I would have opted for a plusher hotel which, I'm sure, would have been double or triple the price.
Comfy hotel & space near 5th Ave
very busy at XMAS time everywhere
Clean and comfortable, good service. Good value for NY hotel.
WiFi was complimentary but awful. Very slow so that nearly all access attempts time out without results.
- No heating system - Pasta behind the windows ?
location, bed, quiet room on back side of building away from street noise
Upon arrival, they didn't have my reservation and said it would take five minutes and have a seat.....not the warm welcome I had expected. It took 20 minutes and I had to go back up but they found me and then it was a warm welcome. Didn't need the 20 minutes of drama.
Wow! If size still matters, well this Holiday Inn is the big dog. Incredibly spacious room for a Manhattan hotel - where space is a premium. Cool staff, good location - all I really needed. And at a budget price. No frills but everything I wanted as a NY base....oh, and a nice bit of 70s geekdom, was used as the hotel in Redford's Three Days of The Condor. (And probably little changed since then!)
If you need wi-fi for business, then think again. Avoid like the plague. Awful. Truly awful. Mind staggeringly awful. The hotel promises complete wi-fi connection throughout but either didn't connect or if it did, lasted for a few minutes then gave up the ghost. Every day for almost a week. Luckily I wasn't too fussed because was out all day, every day. But if you need a connection, then avoid. Like the plague. When confronted about it - which they probably are ad nauseum - their excuse was the cold weather and wind?! Priceless.
The localization is wonderful.
The hotel is huge and old. They say wifi is free but it doesn't work. The discharge is really loud and the shower is very weak.
The hotel seemed a little dated.
Comfortable bed Good location
Some staff very un helpful in the bar
Room was available upon early arrival and we had access to the room immediately
Hotel was fully booked and the lifts were crowded at all times
Early check in! It makes the diference. I come always at 10 am and i can take a shower before work.
Not fancy. Expencive for 3star hotel.
Good location convenient to Columbus Circle subway stations.
A bit run down
Location is quiet yet near everything
Elevators get clogged up no big deal get some exercise on stairs!!:)
Crowded, slow check in; slow, crowded and poorly maintained elevators; WiFi slow, intermittent and totally useless.
Its in a good location. I lived in NYC for over 10 Years. So i know NYC really well, And i know this area as well. So hotel is in a good and safe location. Its a bit far from a metro but not a big deal.
1) Just let me start with the fact that its a RIPOFF ! Cause i was not in a rush i had time to get a car service on my own. BUT, hotel has their car service that will take you to JFK for 60 or 70 with credit card. Where Yellow cab is ~57 with card, and if you call local car service you will pay 40 but in cash. So now why should i take their car service to the JFK, cause the guy was convincing me from the bag storage room that its the best deal in nyc for 70 plus tip. Only problem he thought im new in the city :( 2) Rooms are just "average" for sure not the level they should be. BUT corridors are so old and so dirty that you will feel that you are in a motel, and still some motels will look much much better. So over all, hotel is dirty looking. ONLY FRONT DESK IS CLEAN ! 3) When i asked for invoice, they gave someone else invoice, and told me that its ok, still its the same price and same room, just simply doesn't know how to change name on that invoice. So STAFF doesn't care how or what they do.
- Location is close to my meetings venue. - They have arranged for me Taxi to the airport on time.
- Lifts are not enough, some times I waited the lifts for 15 minutes to find an empty place. - No Safe nor refregerator in the room. - In my reservation's request I asked for upper floors and they have accommodated me in the first guest rooms floor "Level 3", very close to the road. - The charges have been blocked twice, hope to be able to solve this problem with my bank within the coming week. - Last order from the retsurant is on 10:30 PM.
Location and perhaps the value for money if you discount the terrible service at the hotel.
The service. Staff is just unhappy at all times. We were not the ones who noticed it during our stay. Whatever the reason behind this unhappiness it certainly should not be the customers who have to face the consequences of it.
Very convenient. Lovely bar lounge in the lobby. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be back on my frequent visits to Manhattan.
There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
We booked last minute and got a really cheap deal. The hotel was nice and the room had everything you need. The location was great, only a 10 min walk to the subway and to both Central Park and a Times Square, so pretty central.
The lifts were very small and there wasn't an option to take the stairs from the lobby as the only stairs ran to the outside of the building. Waiting for one of the three lifts available (for 18+ floors) could take a while and often when they came they were already full. Especially at check out.
Location Confort Wi-fi
there was too much noise was slamming doors and flushing toilets it would have been nice to have a microwave and a small refrigerator and there to keep things I needed to keep cold
The location was amazing. Walking distance to Rockefeller center, broadway, shopping. Valet Parking was attached to the entrance and only $27 for 24 hours! The consierege got us hard to get last minute tickets to a broadway show. The room was LARGE and roomy for NYC standards! There's a bar in the hotel too which is nice and a large roomy lobby. Very nice. The staff was helpful and really polite. It costs $3 a bag to leave your bags with the bellhop after you check out.
The style of the decorations and carpeting is a little out of date but if you don't care about that then this is the perfect place.
