Wifi was extrememly slow
Room was clean, beds were comfortable. The staff in the dining room did a great job. Check in and out was ok. But I've seen easier. Staff were helpful.
Walls were paper thin. Because of the room location, there was times when I could hear someone floor-boarding their car back and forth and then twice it sounded like the trash people were emptying the bins very early in the AM. You could hear conversations as people walked by. TV channels were VERY limited. No menu or info channel.
cleanliness of the inside of the facilities.
never judge a book by its cover. the outside looked a little odd, but the inside was perfect
Front end looks spectacular when you drive up. Lots of parking. Easy access to loop road. Best breakfast of any hotel encountered in recent years. Have an omelet chef to make your special creation.
Hotel used to be a very old Holiday Inn that is undergoing a renovation. Front end is complete and looks impressive. This is shown in the ads. However, the "best price" rooms sold on booking sites are the oldest rooms in the very back section. Rooms are small, dark and rather stinky.
location, cleanliness, great breakfast included made-to-order omelets, large rooms, comfy beds
we stayed twice on our trip through TX. first stay we needed to switch rooms due to non-working heat and chilly room. second stay we were moved twice and told the first room was not the correct one for us. the confusion did not sit well after 10 hrs on the road.
Easy to find..great room size..slept well..lots of parking space...
Everything was great especially da employees were so nice and helpful
Da 15.00 fee
My husband and I LOVED this place. The staff at the front deck is amazing. Storm checked us in, and was such a sweetheart. The room was wonderful, and very clean. When we could not find the vending machine Mackenzie from the front walked us to one, and got to know us along the way. This is not the only place we will stay when we are in Lubbock. I plan to tell all of our friends.
We were stuck in the back of the hotel. No access to lobby. Made it feel like a motel. Had to use stairs and thats a problem. Elevator was on the inside. No acces to west bound loop 289. Had to drive a mile east to make a uturn to go west. Front desk was unprofessional. They were not attentive to customers but would speak a long time with co workers before acknowledging your presence. Happened the two times we went there. We called on the phone to ask if there was a place we could get coffee in the hotel (around 7pm). They had no idea. They offered to bring up some coffee to the room and didn't show up for 30 minutes. So my wife went down there to get some and of course, they brought it while she was gone. Then when I got home, there's a bill for the "room service". $19.20.
Very friendly staff and very helpful.
did not get the room I reserved. Reserved a king bed and received a double queen.
$315. For a hotel room that I could back my truck up to. Talk about price gouging! More like a $49 room.
I liked being in center of town close to restaurants.
I didn't like being gouged price wise and charged a week early and then not being granted a refund when my 83-year-old mother needed to leave a day early to return home so sister, her driver, could catch a flight next day. I also did not like booking.com and other such services booking up rooms far in advance and doubling rate for college graduation. It was like having another tuition payment.
Riom smelled horrible of smoke, they offered air freshner but since the hotel was booked on a busy weekend we had to pay triple price for an awful room. The bathroom was not very clean and the hotel door was so warped a huge light came through the door at night. Online it made it out to be very nice but i was hugely disappointed worst holiday inn ived stayed in.
I placed a not into booking.com. About needing I inside room. This was it communicated with the hotel on their side. And this was from the manager! Don't think I will be using booking .com again . Hotel didn't bring extra towels - had to call twice . Pillows were terrible. No trash cans visible for I side and outside .
Room was great beds comfortable and fresh sheets.
All was good
Very comfortable room and environment. Was very quiet and we rested very well. Had plenty of room to visit with family that came to see us at the Hotel. Room was clean and had all the immenities we needed.
It was very clean the day we happen to get there
There was no clean left the next day and the shower wasn't cleaned up
the staff were great, kind and frendly
the second night my bed was not made right and no soap or shampoo
Smelled smokey and dirty.
Pool was spectacular! Nice room. The Asian female employee was helpful and courteous, she gladly set up a table&chairs for us to use. The front desk employee was cordial and changed our room as requested on our initial reservation.
The breakfast staff was very rude and did not acaccommodate us! We were told our children ages 3 & under did not need a ticket in order to eat but when we approach the dining room we were turned away and not allowed to eat unless all adults paid $11.99! This was not acceptable! Unfortunately this affected our opinion of the hotel negatively and will definitely be a concern when making future reservations.
