Staff were so nice, lovely warm atmosphere in a lovely setting.
Nothing - all was positive!
Staff was very pleasant. Everything was clean and neat.
I think the toilet should be upgraded to a low flush and comfort height.
Location was excellent
They didn't have any suites for larger families
Wonderful views of the bay Tea, coffee and drinks available free in reception Rooms clean and spacious with fridge and microwave Nice info or pool Well placed between main town and old port
Now here to sit outside Staff should be consistent on what they inform each guest as no one told us about the shuttle service, in fact there were a lot of people who were not told yet others were informed. Elderly people might find walk back from old port a little tiring up the hills
clean, comfy beds, near all the good shops/arts/restaurants/water.
Great location for any event at the Civic Center.
Amazing view, great staff , 5 star quality food at the hotel restaurant
Wifi was spotty at times
Location excellent. Short distance from the Yarmouth ferry terminal. Centrally located downtown. Staff at reception very helpful with my questions. Nice room. Clean. Bed comfortable. WiFi reception was good. Enjoyed my stay.
Clean and view, friendly desk, and free drinks on the lobby
parking need additional fair
Very nice spacious room, felt more like an apartment
Small bathroom , functional
Very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, always with a smile.
The venue itself.
We paid for the additional breakfast, but the person at the front desk forgot to give us our vouchers, causing some embarrassment when we went to the restaurant the next morning. The cost is too high for the value of the facility. The location is not close to/walking distance to downtown restaurants, shopping, etc., as advertised. We would have been uncomfortable walking around the venue after dark.
The hotel is located right across the street from The Portland Museum of Art.It's within walking distance to the Old Port, downtown, and many restaurants. There is a lovely heated indoor pool in the hotel as well as a restaurant and grill. The garage parking is secure and convenient, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Room very comfortable - had everything we needed and more. Good blackout curtains, fridge, quiet and nice bathroom.
wifi didn't work on arrival - we were given phone number to call to resolve issue and was resolved overnight - but frustrating couldn't use in the evening. Ordered tonic water and strawberry and jalapeño cocktail at bar to take to room. The tonic water turned out to be soda water (not good with gin!) and the cocktail was awful - don't know if my poor choice or not made correctly (the bar tender did say it was the first time she had made it)
The location of this hotel was convenient although not the best in terms of proximity to Old Port and the harbor area. But, near to the Arts District and Art Museum, however. Parking was convenient and relatively inexpensive as hotel parking goes. The room was clean and pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. A reasonable place to stay in downtown Portland.
Not the most expensive downtown full service hotel but it still didn't seem like an especially good value.
Ease of parking, lobby very bright and clean, ease of check out, lemonade and coffee in lobby nice touch
Toilet tissue was like sandpaper , no where to hang towels in the bathroom although the hotel requests hanging them for environmental reasons, elevator carpet old looking
1. The availability of print outs on directions to places of interest. 2. Many attractions/eateries were within walking distance of the hotel. 3. The decor in the restaurant & main lobby was very pretty.
1. Information on the local Roman Catholic church(es) was not readily available. 2. We couldn't turn off the air conditioning. Changing the thermostat did not seem to make it sufficiently warmer.
The staff were very hospitable and friendly. The shuttle service was superb and took me all over town. The food at the hotel was delicious. Also, the room was clean, internet was fast, and everything was nice!
BREAKFAST IN DINING ROOM SERVICE EXCELLENT
WAS SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT TO FIND AFTER DARK
Moved me from a smoking room to a non-smoking room with no fuss.
Service was good
The breakfast arrangments were unusual. nothing wrong but curious selection of choice.
more comfortable mattress next time please
