The free shuttle service was a great surprise, and was most appreciated given the temperature.
There was nothing that disappointed us.
Staff was incredibly helpful!
View from room 203 is of the Air Con units of the hotel and Breakfast 4 Value did not cover a basic breakfast
We particularly enjoyed the late lunch of bean soup in the restaurant after a long drive.
The hotel staff was professional, friendly and helpful. It had a beautiful view of the bay. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Loved the snacks at the front desk as well as coffee and hot chocolate. Location was close to everything.Would stay there again.
We did not like the $10 per day parking fee for the onsite garage. Prices were high for the weekend we stayed. We did not go Columbus day so as to avoid the crowds and higher prices. Missed the crowds but the price was over $100 higher per night.
Room with a view, great facilities. Washing machines available. Shuttle service. Reception staff smart and helpful.
Breakfast waitresses had dirty aprons but tried hard. Certain lack of enthusiasm in contrast to reception.
For the price at least a minimum of breakfast items should have been offered, as they are in less expensive hotels.
Location Free Wi-Fi Bar
Poor value for money overall No non-smoking rooms available Breakfast quality not great for the money. Restaurant food OK, but not amazing.
we had a port view room and that was nice
close proximity to downtown, van pick up from airport
receptionist upon arrival could have been friendlier and welcoming
Staff were so nice, lovely warm atmosphere in a lovely setting.
Nothing - all was positive!
Staff was very pleasant. Everything was clean and neat.
I think the toilet should be upgraded to a low flush and comfort height.
Location was excellent
They didn't have any suites for larger families
Wonderful views of the bay Tea, coffee and drinks available free in reception Rooms clean and spacious with fridge and microwave Nice info or pool Well placed between main town and old port
Now here to sit outside Staff should be consistent on what they inform each guest as no one told us about the shuttle service, in fact there were a lot of people who were not told yet others were informed. Elderly people might find walk back from old port a little tiring up the hills
clean, comfy beds, near all the good shops/arts/restaurants/water.
Great location for any event at the Civic Center.
Amazing view, great staff , 5 star quality food at the hotel restaurant
Wifi was spotty at times
Location excellent. Short distance from the Yarmouth ferry terminal. Centrally located downtown. Staff at reception very helpful with my questions. Nice room. Clean. Bed comfortable. WiFi reception was good. Enjoyed my stay.
Clean and view, friendly desk, and free drinks on the lobby
parking need additional fair
Very nice spacious room, felt more like an apartment
Small bathroom , functional
Very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, always with a smile.
The venue itself.
We paid for the additional breakfast, but the person at the front desk forgot to give us our vouchers, causing some embarrassment when we went to the restaurant the next morning. The cost is too high for the value of the facility. The location is not close to/walking distance to downtown restaurants, shopping, etc., as advertised. We would have been uncomfortable walking around the venue after dark.
The hotel is located right across the street from The Portland Museum of Art.It's within walking distance to the Old Port, downtown, and many restaurants. There is a lovely heated indoor pool in the hotel as well as a restaurant and grill. The garage parking is secure and convenient, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Room very comfortable - had everything we needed and more. Good blackout curtains, fridge, quiet and nice bathroom.
wifi didn't work on arrival - we were given phone number to call to resolve issue and was resolved overnight - but frustrating couldn't use in the evening. Ordered tonic water and strawberry and jalapeño cocktail at bar to take to room. The tonic water turned out to be soda water (not good with gin!) and the cocktail was awful - don't know if my poor choice or not made correctly (the bar tender did say it was the first time she had made it)
