Holiday Inn Resort Galveston - On The Beach    

Staff was excellent. Loved the location! View was great! Staff in bar was great!

Wat staff at restraunt was slow, we ran out of drinks several times. There wasnt much floor space in double queen room.

The balcony overlooking the Gulf shore was relaxing. The room was very fresh smelling and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

Sea side is a not looking at a top of a roof with garbage all over it .

The beach of course. A restaurant was on site, the buffet choices were very tasty & fresh, well maintained. The bar on site was great, because of its FABULOUS LIVE BAND (RAPTURE) !!!! Best I've heard in awhile and no cover for such excellence.

The STAFF while checking in, Josey was not communicating with me. There was a mistake made with my booking & once known she insisted that was the booking I made, until I finally showed her my email confirmation, DAH! Very, very, noisy guest next door & the next 3 rooms down parents & kids huge family group, LOUD @ night & early morning, the walls are paper thin anyway. The kids trying to open connecting door to more screaming in halls. Wifi sooooooo weak couldn't do nothing with it.

We really enjoyed the view from our fifth floor balcony directly overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The staff were helpful and food was good.

It's not exactly a 'beach holiday' but it is great for long walks along the seawall. Despite being February and it being a little windy, it was still warm enough to get great exercise and be near the sea.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the beds were comfortable.

Mid Feb off season stay, charged far too much for this level of hotel/motel. Loud bar music and patrons until 2am, pool closed, elevator broken off and on, old 80's beach flop represented as "Resort" and part of San Louis Resort. Tennis court and playground not attached to property, resturant understaffed, 30 minute wait for breakfast buffet. Ocean view accompanied by lobby rooftop ac units, and discarded cig. Butts and broken bottles. Hotel's price point is just delusional, property not up to the standards of neighboring properties.

The place was amazing, I will be staying there again. The room was very nice, the bed was so Confortable, there was no noise in the night, it was great stay for us.

Comfortable beds and balcony

One elevator was out of order and strong winds breezing id door.

The views of the water were beautiful.

It didn't have a hot tub to relax in during the cool evenings.

That I could sit on the balcony facing the sea wall at night and hear the ocean, with such a nice breeze. It was very relaxing.minus a few rowdy people in the parking lot going to the little bar in side, it was great. The few was nice, and so cool to see the projection screen showing a movie at the pool at night.

The price! Would have been my only set back. I got a cheaper rate booking that friday, wanted to stay one more night, but there was a big, huge jump in price for saturday night. You already have a person there it should be a great discount to keep that person there, they for sure liked there stay... Plus the hotel is im pretty sure a remodeled hotel, dont get me wrong it still was nice... Overall I enjoyed gettting away and would probably stay again.

Relaxing

The pool was open until 11 pm so it was a little too noicy to be able to sleep before it closed. A lot of birds were making noice in the morning.
