The view was very nice. We had a balcony view from six floor. The beds were very nice and fresh.
Labor day weekend so maybe staff was low. One elevator was broke and they were small, so elevator wait was lengthy. Microwave in our room was very slow. Trash cans were tiny so with four of us we had trash running over every day. I'd like to see recycling in all hotels, all big establishments. We kept our plastics & glass in a separate container to take back home for recycling.
A little uncomfortable with the open air above the parking lot hallways to the rooms. Ours was located behind a concrete wall partition so if someone were to attempt to get into the room they could go unnoticed.
We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and the good location.
Was pretty pricey considering the beach isn't that nice.
Kids loved the pool. Great location if you love to walk. Right next to the beach.
Wifi not that good in hotel room.
We really liked the pool area and the pretty landscaping. The staff was very friendly. Our room wasn't quite ready so they encouraged us to swim in the pool while we waited. We called for a cart when we were checking out and the desk clerk sent one to our room and the person who brought it helped us load everything and take it to our car.
I did not like the view from the balcony because the roof of the hotel was included and it took away from the view.

The bed was very comfortable. Room service from the restaurant was good and the food was great. When we had issues ( other than the Wi-Fi), the response from staff was good. The view from our balcony was awesome. The AC was great!
When we arrived at our room on the first day we noticed the Wi-Fi was not working. My wife called about it just a few minutes after getting to our room and the only response from the front desk was " We are sorry". We also noticed one of the glasses left in the room was not clean and the cleaning staff left one of their cleaning agents ( the foam kind) in the bathroom. But that was not the worst thing we noticed in the bathroom. There were dark hairs on the bathroom floor. The short curly kind. The first morning we got 2 wake up calls at 8 am and 8:15 am even though we did not request wake up calls. That day when we left we put the cleaning agent on the bathroom counter so the cleaning staff could take it with them. When we came back later in the day, they had left it again!! We noticed that day that the Wi-Fi was still not working. We stopped at the front desk and inquired about the Wi-Fi and were told "we are aware of the problem and have placed a call for a technician but no one has showed up yet." The front desk person even told us that the problem was specific to the end of the building that we were staying in. Well, I guess the "technician" never found that end of the building because we did not have Wi-Fi the whole 5 nights we stayed at the hotel. I asked about the problem at check out to see about any discount and the front desk person said they were not aware of any problem. Then a manager came and asked me when the problem was. I told them it existed the whole time. She gave me a 10% discount for 1 day. Remember I had to ask about it to get ANY redress. Are you kidding?! Also on the first day we had to call someone to come roto-rooter the toilet because it would not flush. This happened immediately after we got to our room! The elevators were wet and filthy the whole stay. The first day something was leaking water directly into the elevator from above. One night we decided to get room service.
They charged me more then what it was suppose to be when I booked through booking .com when I called the manager at the hotel she said it wasn't her problem and told me to call booking .com very bad customer service !!!!!
The pool area was fabulous and the reason we picked this hotel. Loved being able to order pina coladas poolside and the whole pool area felt very resort-like.

A/C wasn't working properly I also didn't aperciate being charged twice on my credit card. And both charges were done different days.
When we arrived we were given a suite because of the mess we had with booking.
When I booked this mini vacation i was planning on paying half cash half debit card. I put a limit on my debit card of 600 a day. Apparently sometime between my booking the room, receiving confirmation # and a welcome email, they ran the card and it declined because it was over my amount. Instead of calling to ask if i wanted to use a different payment for or calling and saying anything at all they just cancelled my reservation. I happend to call because we were running late , that is when i was told it was cancelled. I had just driven 4 1/2 hours with 30 minutes to go. She proceeded to tell me i could have a king room , not a double , at 312 a night. i booked at 174 a night. i hung up. Went online booked another room with double beds at 198 a night on a diffferent card. Got there told the story to the clerk in front and he upgraded from double , to double in a suite. Seriously ! Whoever answered the 800 # and whomever does the cancelling needs to be better trained.
Over all it was good and the kids enjoyed themselves.
I booked on Booking.com at an advertised price of $119 per night, but they charged me $139 for the room. This was disappointing...

Room with view had a great view of hotel air conditioners. Had to change room to get an unobstructed view. Dining room pricey.

The location to the Beach was good.
Everything felt dated. The pool water was cloudy. I expected it to be sparkling blue. While it is across from the Beach it is dangerous to walk across from the hotel with little ones.

I booked here because of the fact they had free shuttle service. On tuesday, I wanted to use this service as I had No car and I was told shuttle service was down and all the other shuttle services that they could use were also down and that if i needed to get somewhere i would have to pay for a taxie. Not Good Business! There was also a discrepancy in the bill from Holiday Inn and the receipt from Booking.com.At Booking.com I was given a price of $169.00 per night for 4 Nights. My Bill from Holiday Inn was $169.00 for the first night and $199.99 for the next 3 nights. When I complained i was told they changed their rates all the time. I called to talk to the management, and of course was put off by them taking my name and phone number, saying they would return my call ( which never happened). NOT GOOD BUSINESS ! Also accidentally order a movie - my fault- however on my bill I was charged $16.99 for that mistake.
This hotel has a wonderful staff, the beds are very comfortable. The insulation in the rooms keeps out the noise outside so we rested very well. The breakfast buffet was fantastic
some of the furniture in the rooms need replacing. But overall awesome stay
