King sized fluffy bed, nice linens. Free WiFi. In walking distance to the Maritime Museum. Hotel was quiet. Lots of street noise! Hotel is an older hotel, my clothes smelled musty after our stay.$17.00 A night for parking...ouch!

Lovely hotel-big room really quiet (don't hear other guests) & hardly hear traffic. Super comfortable beds. Great choice for downtown as away from the noise of Bars etc & traffic and close enough to walk. We stayed 9 nites here in total -left another hotel & came back here. Would absolutely recommend it & would def come back here next time we visit San Diego. Ate in the cafe in the hotel-they made me up a lovely veggie salad. Great for families or couples. Comp bottles of water in the room. Would have liked a small fridge in the room

Rooms were clean and comfortable; but didn't really care for the sliding bathroom door, love the look of it but didn't feel I had privacy. Staff was adequately friendly.... Just enough!! The parking at this hotel truly sucked!!! Not enough available spaces and to top it off unknown to me until my check-in I found out I had to pay an additional $17.00 per night in order to park in that really, really, really..... Sucky parking!!! Which made my actual hotel charge $116.00 not the $99.00 which was the original charge upon booking my reservation. If I had known I was going to be charged an additional fee in order to park at this hotel surely I would've chosen a different one!!!

Nothing My Check in took about an hour in the evening of March 18, 2013. At the time of check in, the Reception staff looked confused & went on for about half an hour starring at his own computer screen inspite of me having a ready hand print out of my booking. Horrible was my experience at check out early in the morning of March 23, 2013, when the reception lady refused to refund my 100 usd cash deposit, saying that she doesn't have the money at that point of time to refund me. She also refused to put my refund into my credit or debit card. She initially refused to even accept that I had cash deposit of usd 100, in addition to the payment I had made for the room rent at the time of check in on March 18, 2013. She later accepted that I had a cash deposit only after I showed her the paper receipt of 100 Bucks. She was very rude & went on repeating that she does not have the cash to refund. Why the hell was she there in the reception without any method to refund the deposits to the guests at check out time. The only way was to get my refund back as per the receptionist was to wait till 8 am & miss my flight. It is absurd that this 3* hotel does not have even 100 Bucks in cash to refund me at the early morning hours at the check out time. The receptionist having refused to refund my deposit, I had to leave the hotel without refund. As last resort I asked for check refund to be mailed to me in Pittsburgh. As I was travelling out of us after 2 days, I wonder whether the hotel would at all send me the check at the address given to then receptionist & withing how many days. Beware, no one should stay in this horrible hotel. Cheats the hotel is.

Close to the civic center where you would walk to popular sites. The location of the hotel. One-way streets to enter and exit. Almost had a fender bender trying to enter the right lane that goes directly to the front of the hotel from the back.

Not much, except proximity to Little Italy, but in area surrounded by fwy ramps with homeless people lying around nearby No jacuzzi, dirty pool next to busy street, no water in workout room and dirty towels all over, no complimentary breakfast for relatively high price, next to freeway ramp.

Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean. Food was good and not too expensive. Hard to get into hotel due to a lot of one way streets in the area. Right next to freeway. Plenty of parking spaces but small stalls/area. $17.00 per day parking fee.

Affordable price and close to downtown The room was dirty; the toilet was not cleaned. Also, there is a cafe right at the reception whose kitchen is open, and therefore the smell of deep fries fills the the reception and the hallways. There is no toothpaste in the room. You have to ask it at the reception. The room service is only available in selected hours. I ordered breakfast one morning. In the afternoon, the tray and leftovers were outside the room on the floor. The following morning, it was still there. No one showed up to pick it up for a day!

Location next to little italy was convenient and being close to the airport was also convenient. Tv didnt work, all night long the tv would automatically change channels on its own and would shut off on its own. Also the blow dryer was malfunctioning also. I was a little disappointed thinking that it would be nicer being it was a sheraton.

We picked Four Points when it was a holiday inn, it was taken over by Four points shortly after. We picked the loacation because we were in town for a marathon and it was close to the start line. It was clean, the staff were friendly and prompt and quite helpful. We went a couple days without using maid service just becasue of the schedule we kept and they even called to make sure we didn't need the room serviced. When we booked originally, it was a Holiday Inn and we decided on it becasue of it's location to the race start but also because it provided free shuttle to the airport and to other places like sea world, downtown, the zoo, etc. When Four points took over they only offered free shuttle to and from the airport. They charge extra to have a fridge in our rooms so they made up by giving us a fridge for free. The shuttle only runs past 6am, so we had to take a cab going back to the airport... but there were other four points hotel shuttles there when we arrived. The location is in an unsavory part of town, and that's putting it nicely. At night all you can hear is sirens, and there are a lot of homeless people sleeping in the streets near by. There is also a crack house about a block away on first. If you are walking, I suggest you walk with a buddy. We had 7 in our group so we had no issues.
