Pool is heated but it's outside so it is still very cold for a swim! For the price I was surprised that there was no microwave in the room, no public microwave available, and to get a microwave was $25!

check in was great but when our card deactivated,it was difficult to get help. Also bell staff not helpful and hard to find when help was needed.
Location - close to transportation - easy to find - clean - spacious - comfy. Concierge staff (the tour assistants) were very helpful and provided great directions.
Staff at reception could be more welcoming & friendly; Wi-Fi should be included; parking rate is outrageous considering that free parking is available two blocks higher. I had a much better experience at a much lower at The Dylan hotel (beautiful place, bed super comfy, very convenient location, a few minutes from BART station & airport).
A lot of the plug ins didn't work
I was surprised to find out that parking was $45.93 per night, that was almost half of what I paid for the room. It's something that should be labeled when getting the room. When I first asked about parking the employee laughed in a very condescending way and told me that they didn't offer free parking (that I basically asked a stupid question).
The room itself was on par for what I would expect from a Holiday Inn.

i got a deal from Booking.com so it's worth it. We got a corner room so we had a great view.
The room is little bit small. The parking is really expensive...but in the area the chepper was 30usd per day.

Air con in room not great in terms of cooling and very noisy! Bar/Restaurant was below standard for a full service hotel, basic and expensive. Pool towels could do with upgrading as could currently be described as flannels.
Location was good, walking distance to Union Square and Fishermans Wharf. Pool was excellent in terms of being heated and on 6th floor had excellent views.
Hidden agenda for breakfast is a trap, kids have to pay for breakfast buffet, which is not mentioned anywhere while booking.

Very small room for over $200. Not worth it at all.
Street facing rooms do not block out traffic noises. If you are a light sleeper, beware.

Using the computer in the business centre was very expensive. I only got about 17 minutes for $5 and because the transaction has to be by credit card, I am expecting an additional bank charge.
Friendly staff at desk, room cleaning and restaurant. Good location on bus and cable car routes. The number 47 bus goes right into Fishermans' wharf. No need for timetables, the buses come every 10 minutes or less. What's more, the famous cable car stops right next to the hotel, in California Street.
The staff were very nice, the hotel was great, the location was perfect, and the bed was amazing! I would definitely come back!!
The staff at Holiday Inn was very friendly and offered very fast service when needed.the hotel was very clean especially our room on the 17th floor which also had a good view of the city. the location is close to all of the tours that visitors want to visit.

first room between partying guys, wALKING BETWEEN TWO ROOMS, holding liquor bottles, drunk. Walking with no tops on. One had his whole back scratched. WeirD things, going on in those 2 rooms. We changed rooms.Tenderloin area, somewhat scary, close by, beggers.
THE STARBUCKS, NICE FRIENDLY MANAGER, WHO ACCMODATED US, ONE MORE NIGHT.. Nice restaurant downstairs.
