Molto bella la vista dalla camera. Merita ! La posizione è buona, un quarto d'ora a piedi da Union Square. Dieci min in taxi da Fishermans Warf.

The location suited well. Van Ness is a central street and Fisherman's Wharf Was a nice walk as well as Union Square. Dinning options in the hotel were not the best.

Run down old rooms. Very bad ventilation. Heater makes room very hot.turning it off makes room very cold they wouldn't count my membership points because I booked through booking.com

Great location, especially with a cable car stop almost on the doorstep. Also fantastic views from my corner room on the 22nd floor. Very noisy! Even 22 floors up, the street noise was intrusive. And I could clearly hear the conversation in the room next door. If you go, take earplugs!

The location was very close to my daughter's apartment. Perfect for me! The bae area felt like a cafeteria...we didn't even stay even though we had a free drink coupon. Stark and cold

the place was way over priced to enclude the breakfast menu, $17.99 for breakfast buffet an you only have liquid eggs, sliced potatos , bacon (burnt) turkey sausage links, and sausage links, and pancakes. , for fruit you had unriped cantalope,mush mellon, then slice tomato and 3 cheeses, you had three choices of cereal,and ooat meal, back home you get this for $5.99 not 17.99 , also it was the same thing all week long, nothing new. the rooms price was the same for a standard,queen, and King rooms. If i would know the price was the same i would have got a king instead of a standard. the rooms were noisy, no hot water. The lady in the gift shop was very helpful and friendly , real nice lady. The morning server (lady) very funny and friendly keep up the great work the hotel was very clean

Quiet comfortable convient reasonable price. Hotel staff was great we were there for our 10yr anniversary and I must say I enjoyed this honeymoon better then our first. Breakfast at the hotel was a little over priced and needs more of a variety. Nut what we had was good. The bed was a bit.too soft. And the restaurant staff was not great. We were sat bit never given a menu until.after our drinks were brought. Took a bit long too.

The location is excellent, near the corner of Van Ness and California Sts. Puts you in a good position to access public transportation to wherever you need to go in the city. I just park my car in the garage and forget about it until I check out. No hassles with finding parking, paying for additional parking, etc. The rooms are on the small side, and the windows need some cleaning, but the views of the San Francisco skyline and the sf Bay are outstanding.

Great location, rooms and bath very nice and clean, great view, chambermaids very helpful, extras for our 9 family members, sunny room, nice french linen, good shower, entrance convenient - drive right up - Starbucks next door The ladies at the reception were very nice and professional. On the 2nd last night the 2 men at the reception told me that we had to check out as the room was just for 4 nights. I had to contact e-bookers for them to prove that we reserved for 5 nights, but the men at the reception were very loud, rude and arrogant. In the end we were right but lost over an hour and ruined our plans as a family together after a very sad family funeral. Also we did not receive our telephone messages that our family members left for us.

Location is good near the fishman pier and could walk to the Union Square. Service is not good especially for the parking where could not find anyone to help for luggages.and the parking is too expensive without service.

I had chose this hotel because I thought was a perfect location my Conference and also close enough for my Husband and 2 young daughter to roam around the city with everything close by and that the hotel had a wifi internet and garage was also available, which was all convenient for me since I was there for a business trip and also made into a family trip as well. What I did not like was, the day before my check in day I called the hotel to make a request and doing this ahead of time would make easier on everyone not only for me and my family but I thought it would be nice to make the hotel staff know and specifically told them exactly what I was requested and also to make their job easier, but came to find out that nothing was done and to top it off they still charged my husband card when in fact my reservation was already paid in full even before we got there. As my request my husband was just to check in w/ my 2 young daughter under my name thru the reservation and for him to tell front desk his first name. Needless to say I was very disappointed with my experience, They seriously need to train their staff. That is a must. Hotel was nice except the staff. Need major action toward employee training. As making a reservation thru a third company as booking.com is, need to communicate with the hotel staff. Booking.com need to make sure to update phone #. I had called and got a bakery instead. So third company and hotels, I highly recommend some good communication there.

We had a 20th floor end room with panoramic views of SF and surrounding hills, the Bay, Alcatraz Island, etc. It was quite beautiful. Our room was well appointed and up to date! No fan in the bathroom meant humid conditions as there was not central air conditioning. Although the view was beautiful the windows were very dirty and therefore the view obscured. We are Priority Club members but were not acknowledged for this and our daily newspaper was never delivered even though we requested it to be done.

A comfortable bed is really the only positive thing to mention about this hotel. Awful, incompetent, unhelpful staff. Lousy check-in and check-out procedures. Check-in was at 3pm. We arrived at 8pm and our room wasn't ready! We had to wait 45 minutes with our luggage in the lobby. We were offered a compensation drink in the bar... well, we don't really drink so what's the point? we had traveled for hours and had to wait for a room. Also, the hotel description on your website is not accurate or current. It is an old, rundown hotel. The pool was closed. The views are not what the hotel name suggests (no Golden Gate view at all). We have been travelers for many many years and this was probably our biggest disappointment ever. A shame because San Francisco is so well worth a visit!

The ease of the check-in process and the cleanliness of our room. Also we were on the 24th floor and had a spectacular view of the city and skyline of San Francisco. The efficient work of the concierge in helping us with a couple of local day trips was also much appreciated.

The first day I stayed there I left the room at 07.30 in the morning. I came back at 1.30pm and the room was not yet cleaned. I had to call someone to clean the room. It is just unacceptable for this kind of hotel....

The hotel was in a great location for sightseeing. I used public transportation during my stay. Access is convenient. I had a room on a higher floor with a view of the city and partial view of bay. I noticed the front desk staff offered different levels of service to guests. Unfortunately I received a lower quality of service. The staff was never rude. However I was given a room next to the elevator. Thankfully it wasn't too loud. But I was told they would not consider moving my room unless the noise kept me awake my first nights stay. And the rooms next the elevator are smaller than the others. It would help if the hotel upgraded their windows because you can hear street noise even on high floors.
