The staff are the most polite people I have run across. And they also will give you a smile at not cost to you.

I'm used to getting only what I pay for but, in this case, I don't reckon its a worthwhile trade off.
San Francisco seems to be an expensive town with disconcerting levels of homelessness and drug dependency. And begging. Unfortunately, this hotel is not in a good part of town, but is slightly less expensive than many better-placed establishments. That said, just about the almost only staff I encountered who knew their jobs was an attendant in the hotel's parking garage, and he was excellent, the only one to deserve a tip, upon which they ALL seem to depend so much. Most if not all of the rest appeared entirely untrained and lacking any appreciation of customers' needs. The bedroom was somewhat basic, and the wifi was as good as useless there. The bedroom's heating/cooling system was somewhat primitive in its operation too. To summarise, this hotel seems, generally, to be run on a penny-pinching principles. I wouldn't stay again, even if I ended up paying a little more (which seems highly probable).

Watch out for all the homeless folk - might be off putting at first but they actually mean no harm whatsoever. Also, stay away from 6th Street - very unsavory.
Located in a bustling section of SF

Growing number of homeless people on Market Street make the neighbourhood less safe every time I visit. Windows can't fully close and there's a lot of construction works going on in the neighbourhoods. Don't expect to sleep later than 06:00
Easy access to BART, Public transport, Clean rooms, Comfortable Bed

I was disappointed there was no refrigerator in the room which surprised me since this hotel advertises that they are a hotel for business travelers. I would expect a refrigerator to be standard. When we returned to the hotel at 11 PM we were disappointed to find no concierge out front, only panhandlers. It was very uncomfortable. Don't understand why parking is not included in the room rate. We paid $42.18 to park in the hotel garage.
This hotel was amazing. The staff were incredible. Our room key didn't work in the elevator, the individual who checked us in got us new key cards and escorted Us To the elevators to personally ensure there were no further issues. Very clean and nice. Comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful. The female bartender in the hotel lounge was very nice and helpful and seemed to really enjoy her job. The night front desk clerk called us a taxi and the concierge out front of the hotel was very helpful with getting us in our taxi in a timely fashion.

thr parking 45$ per day????? to much!

The staff assign a terrible room to us which almost no too many things in the bath room,eg. Shower caps, Cotton swab, tissues ,etc.....THE Most terrible part is in the mid night which clubs play very loudly music outside, even you use the earplug but still can hear it. Besides the poor air-conditioning not working at the same time and makes me sick in the day after. It’s really not worth this price and stars , highly suspicious of those previous comments !!

Windows do not provide any protection against noise - rather loud, even on yard side.
Friendly staff, next to metro (BART) and direct airport access without taxi. Lift to room only accessible with room key.
February 15, 2015
It could do with a renovation. The room I had is very old. Also I was on the pool floor so couldn't sleep with the sliding doors open, any other floor had a patio so leaving the doors open would be fine!
Good location next to Civic

The neighborhood wasn't the best, but, it was in a good location to the public transportation and I felt safe with all the extra safety precautions (needing room key to get to room floor, parking lot secure). The price of parking is a bit steep, but, probably average for San Francisco.
The staff were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to provide excellent service. I appreciated all of their hard work!
