Location was good for me. Staff was friendly but were hard pressed to provide more service because of all the guests that were arriving. Room was clean and presentable.
The hotel could use a face lift particularly with the decor of the rooms and common area. Looks pretty dated.
Convenient, liked the fact that you had to use card. To enter any building.
No continental breakfast.
The staff was trying to be helpful and they adjusted my bill for the inconveniences I experienced.
I had to switch rooms twice. The first two the lights didn't work in the rooms. the third room was in a different building and my room was right above a trolly stop. So I had to listen to trains until 2 and starting again at 6. The rooms are dated and in need of a total make over. This property is way over priced for the condition of the rooms.
It did not occur to me to ask whether or not this property was ADA compliant. Although my husband is not disabled he has a bad back and there was no elevator. We had to leave the baggage at the bottom of the stairs and I had to carry them up individually. There was no mention of it upon check-in nor were we offered help to carry the bags upstairs even though they knew there was no elevator access. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke
The staff was very helpful and friendly. When we found out that the coffe machine isn't working they changed it in 10min.
It's far from San Francisco so for business there it could be challenging.
clean, the landscaped courtyard
thin walls so neighbour noise quite audible.
Good location for airport access.
Clean enough but a bit old and tired.
No centralized lights control. No water stopper for bathtub.
When I complained about my room, they moved me to a higher floor in a more renovated room that was a little better than the original one.
- Lobby smelled like cat pee - Wifi only worked about 1/3 of the time - Homeless people wandering around the parking lot - Hot tub was not even warm - Lounge was a sad scene - 1st room (they moved me after I complained) smelled like old smoke, walls were dirty, and clock radio was smashed (not just "not working" but physically smashed) - no bathtubs - old tile showers with sunken drains so deep that you were standing on a sharp slope trying not to slip and fall - bathroom mirrors were so old, the "mirror" was fading off the back of it (like an antique, but trying to pass off as modern) - biz center was closed for reno - old squeeky spring bed - overall dingy, sad
Bed was ok.
The toilet wasn't cleaned and the entire hotel needs an update from the 70's. Sub-par for sure.
The fire alarm was ringing for 3+ hours
Ample parking, access to freeways, courteous staff, adequate room
Distance to downtown,
Close to airport
Very old, and parking is always an issue.
There was no fridge room and the restaurant was closed. You only have Denny's or order in pizza to choose from unless you have a car.
Did not get a chance to like anything.
There is a deposit u have to pay when you check in.
ease of traveling, close to the airport.
breakfast was just a small muffin due to "holidays."
Staff were great people. Complementary coffee. Good coffee shop
The need to pump water through the lobby during the rainstorm.
- Cost on line Specials - Location
- Food menu - TV and stations - No Frig in the room - Carpets durty
Location is good
Gardener trimming plants right under the window at 6 AM. People shouting in Chinese early morning in corridors and outside the building. TV set still from the late 90's (no flat screen, bad quality TV). Overall, not worth the $220+ for one night.
room waws spacious and comfortable to sleep in
Noisy neighbors and hallway noise
Location There is nothing to complain about this hotel if you stay to catch the flight. Reasonable price, good free wifi, spacious room, business center to print out the documents and in-hotel restaurant. Nothing fancy, but good enough to come back.
that i learned not to stay here again.
They brag of having a t1 service? needed to get up at 3AM to do any work they need 40 Mbps for a hotel like this, or more. No elevator to 2nd floor--at a Hilton? Pool not heated, but pool is in primary advertisements--Very Cold! No free breakfast, common in most hotels these days. Parking often full. I would never stay here again!!
Location and breakfast
the staff for room and restaurant were very hospitable, warm and friendly and provided services well.
1) It was distressful to see how overworked one young man was in the restaurant for dinner time on 11/19. He had no floor backup for waiting on many customers. Also, the menu was very limited and not that nutritious. 2) Disappointed to be told the last morning I was there that the restaurant was no longer in operation and only a continental breakfast could be provided. 3) Loud noises after 10 pm; during the first and second night I stayed at the hotel which disturbed my sleep. The very costly first night hotel rate compared to the second and third night I stayed. It was a federal government business trip which you allowed me a lower federal gov't rate on 2nd and 3rd night and explained you could not do that for my first night because I booked the reservation on line with Booking.Com. When I telephoned your reservation desk AT the hotel I was informed you would not change the much higher rate for the first night : of $289.00 because "all the rooms were booked for that night"; although they were not when I booked the three nights online prior to this conversation. I was also told, "In the future, before you book online call the hotel directly to speak w/the reservation person and one might get a lower rate. Then why have an online booking site at all if you are not going to divulge that information ONLINE. This is outright deceit to your customers. My organization does business in the San Jose area frequently and I had to report your "practice" to our accountants who report all charges to the federal government for our business travels. Most likely we would not use your hotel again unless you change this policy.
The breakfast was very subpar.
