Staff were great people. Complementary coffee. Good coffee shop
The need to pump water through the lobby during the rainstorm.
- Cost on line Specials - Location
- Food menu - TV and stations - No Frig in the room - Carpets durty
Location is good
Gardener trimming plants right under the window at 6 AM. People shouting in Chinese early morning in corridors and outside the building. TV set still from the late 90's (no flat screen, bad quality TV). Overall, not worth the $220+ for one night.
room waws spacious and comfortable to sleep in
Noisy neighbors and hallway noise
Location There is nothing to complain about this hotel if you stay to catch the flight. Reasonable price, good free wifi, spacious room, business center to print out the documents and in-hotel restaurant. Nothing fancy, but good enough to come back.
that i learned not to stay here again.
They brag of having a t1 service? needed to get up at 3AM to do any work they need 40 Mbps for a hotel like this, or more. No elevator to 2nd floor--at a Hilton? Pool not heated, but pool is in primary advertisements--Very Cold! No free breakfast, common in most hotels these days. Parking often full. I would never stay here again!!
Location and breakfast
the staff for room and restaurant were very hospitable, warm and friendly and provided services well.
1) It was distressful to see how overworked one young man was in the restaurant for dinner time on 11/19. He had no floor backup for waiting on many customers. Also, the menu was very limited and not that nutritious. 2) Disappointed to be told the last morning I was there that the restaurant was no longer in operation and only a continental breakfast could be provided. 3) Loud noises after 10 pm; during the first and second night I stayed at the hotel which disturbed my sleep. The very costly first night hotel rate compared to the second and third night I stayed. It was a federal government business trip which you allowed me a lower federal gov't rate on 2nd and 3rd night and explained you could not do that for my first night because I booked the reservation on line with Booking.Com. When I telephoned your reservation desk AT the hotel I was informed you would not change the much higher rate for the first night : of $289.00 because "all the rooms were booked for that night"; although they were not when I booked the three nights online prior to this conversation. I was also told, "In the future, before you book online call the hotel directly to speak w/the reservation person and one might get a lower rate. Then why have an online booking site at all if you are not going to divulge that information ONLINE. This is outright deceit to your customers. My organization does business in the San Jose area frequently and I had to report your "practice" to our accountants who report all charges to the federal government for our business travels. Most likely we would not use your hotel again unless you change this policy.
The breakfast was very subpar.
Size & location of TV was horable! Need to upgrade to bigger better TV
I looked the location and easy access to freeway. We just stayed for a short business trip. It was quite, clean and suited our needs.
It was chilly and the heater didn't work very well
This is where we like to stay when we travel to Levis Stadium. It is directly on the VTA line and well serviced by Public Transit. Very close to SJC. We only need a comfortable room, not much else. The staff is very friendly, helpful, attentive by our experience. Grounds (and pool in summer) are exceptional for the value.
Infrastructure (carpets, furniture, landscaping) outdated and old, carpeting even stained in some places. And the TV is still standard def, could use some updating. But not a deal breaker for us.
The buildings 6, 7, and 8 are in the process of being approved for demolition for replacement. These are the buildings that are used for these low(?) prices. They are the original buildings and they show their age. Total cost $150 night.
Pillow too small, no valet parking
Close to the airport Easy to get to from freeways Very comfortable bed and pillows
Dated TV and not very good television reception Some of the outlets in the bedroom were not working Slow drains in the bathroom
the beds were comfortable and the property was beautiful
the room smelled like mildew the front desk was short, also when I asked one of the custodians if he could take a family picture of us he wouldn't because he was too busy cleaning the bathrooms lol..... The room deocr was 70s looking with a old school tv
Don't stay here especially if you are arriving to SJ. I called the front desk multiple times to get picked up and no answer. The room is outdated and considerably smaller than what they show. Staff made it difficult for my spouse to check-in early before I arrived in SJ.
the bed was too soft
Convenient and quick Shuttle service.
Parking was terrible - had to drive around for 45 minutes to find a place to park, and then it was far away from my room! Dining was minimal and not very good. I will never stay there again!!
It was a nice clean quiet. Room. Smooth transaction with check in and check out.
Wifi was good. And I could see my car from my window.
Check in was slow. Couldn't find my reservation. Was givin wrong directions to my room. While carrying 2 babies plus luggage. The beds were very uncomfortable. The carpet and shower were filthy. The room had a very strong bad odor. Decided not to stay another night
The room was great as far as the beds and pillows were very comfortable, shower was good, bottled water was provided, TV had our news channel and everything was SUPER clean. The courtyard (complete with hot tub, pool, lots of trees and flowers, etc.) were also quite pleasant, business center provided computers to use, and several good fast food places within walking distance. Shuttle service was also very dependable due to a polite and professional driver.
Our room was on the ground floor, right next to one of the entrance/exit doors, which banged loudly with each use.....that, unfortunately, continued until 4am. Didn't get a whole lot of sound sleep. No microwave or small fridge, which would have been nice. Their Bar & Grill was a disappointment too. Only one person drinking a beer when we peeked in. Didn't look like there was a happy hour atmosphere, no good smells of appetizers, etc. Pretty much blah. Since we had already handed in our rental car, it would have been nice to have been able to enjoy a drink and something to nibble on. Desk crew didn't leave you anxious to visit either!! Kind of strange.
The beds were horrible - no support, the shower tap did not work well. Bath filled up with water while showering. The bath faucet did not work. The manager said they just did an upgrade, a complete lie. Infrastructure was the worst I have seen...
close to the light rail and to Airport Flyer bus. Also the free shuttle is nice.
