The TV was very old, and stations/options were limited.
The price and overall value.
rooms need upgrades!!
The jacuzzi was heavenly
There were only a few channels (like 5) on the TV and no options for movies or alternative. Pool is cold.
The location was great. The Buffet Breakfast and wait staff were super good. Relaxing courtyard. Room was fine. Large shower.
Room and building smeared moldy. Area beneath beds was very dirty, so bad you couldn't se the carpet. In the dining room service was great one night and very poor the next depending on who was working. We ask to speak to thesnager only to be told he was busy. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this hotel and certainly not stay here again!
I got bit in my room at night and my little finger swell up and it was very painful. Finally got desperate and lanced the wound. Mentioned it to Carlos the front desk manager and he kind of blew me off because I think he thought I was trying to play him for a discount was the sense i got. I said you might want to check the room well before someone else stays there. The Hallway carpet and area had an oder to it, the rooms were pretty outdated furniture wise and no flatscreen HD tv was depressing to have to watch.
Our Night manager was awesome. 2 free bottles of water the first night. Coffee was terrible. We felt kind of taken when we found out our friend was able to get FREE breakfast and free drinks in the evening and a Military Discount that he said was $69,00 a night, although the Front desk manager said it was $89.00 a month. I asked for a AAA discount and Carlos said since we booked through booking.com that we could have got an additional $15.00 a day off if we would have told them by April 3rd or something. That really made us happy! When we asked for a couple of breakfast tickets we were told that since we booked through booking.com that it would have to come out of the Chef's budget and he wouldn't stand for it, or something of that nature. Also when we came back for our lugage that was put into the conference room, we walked in and it was unlocked!
The grounds are beautiful, the staff very kind and helpful. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was understaffed.
Although the hotel is in desperate need of upgrades, the property is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the shower huge.
limited restaurant availability and quality of food
The only things I didn't like was that the TV was out of date and had very few channels that actually worked. Plus there was no continental breakfast which would have been nice.
This hotel was comfortable for an affordable rate. The pool and spa were excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms reminded me of being on a cruise ship because they were more sophisticated than any hotel I've stayed at at the same price range. Would definitely stay again.
Not as close to anything as listed, very expensive on taxis
Free shuttle to airport
I would suggest a facelift for the hotel decor
I liked that the hotel was situated close to the light rail and free airport shuttle came in handy.
No microwave or fridge or flat scrren t.v.
Comfort was good, just need to be updated
Nothing worth mentioning
Location and size of the pool, although it was a bit cold
Out dated tv and only a few channels, small room
Close to airport, free shuttle to and from the airport. Free wifi, and computer to print boarding passes. Train stop right in front of hotel to Levi Stadium
The tax is more than I see in booking.com
A central garden
strange smell in the hotel lobby.
good location for my purposes
Because the property is being razed in November by the new owner, there is no money being spent to keep the property up. When was the last time you saw a Tube TV in a hotel?
The staff is mostly long term employees, and very cordial and helpful. Nice location, pleasant grounds.
Definitely wasn't worth 280 USD per night!
WiFi access, lots of car space.
Stayed 4 nights, the 4 night there was a party held in the room next door started about 9:00 and when I left for the airport at 5:45 AM it was still going. Since my room was adjoining the noise was very disturbing. Noise in the hallway was minimal.
Great location, very decent hotel, have stayed there many times.
* Room > style - dated, old furnishings, 80’s > cleanliness - ok > size - mid size > bed & mattress - ok > facilities - no refrigerator * VIEW - none, looking out to parking lot
* Location > proximity - nothing around, have to drive to find stores, supermarkets, etc only good if your flying out of sj airport * SERVICE - helpful * PRICE - reasonable for $129 for 1 nite * WIFI - > AVAILABILITY - available > QUALITY - ok > COST - free * CARPARK - > QTY - many spaces > COST - free
I thought the actual living accommodation was a let down. I have stayed in lower-priced hotels, such as Best Western & La Quinta & (compared to SJAG hotel), I would recommend those more highly. I was unhappy to pay $205 for a room that was not on a par with either of the above mentioned hotels/motels. You should think seriously about that. Unfortunately, because I was at SJAG for a conference, I made the mistake of booking myself a room on the premises. Next time, I will go along the road to La Quinta, where I know I will get a reasonably priced room with better furnishings.
Staff we're amazingly courteous, friendly & very helpful. Definitely the hotel's major asset.
The whole place smells like chemicals. Old and unpleasant rooms.
The hotel could use a face lift particularly with the decor of the rooms and common area. Looks pretty dated.
Location was good for me. Staff was friendly but were hard pressed to provide more service because of all the guests that were arriving. Room was clean and presentable.
No continental breakfast.
Convenient, liked the fact that you had to use card. To enter any building.
I had to switch rooms twice. The first two the lights didn't work in the rooms. the third room was in a different building and my room was right above a trolly stop. So I had to listen to trains until 2 and starting again at 6. The rooms are dated and in need of a total make over. This property is way over priced for the condition of the rooms.
The staff was trying to be helpful and they adjusted my bill for the inconveniences I experienced.
