It was comfortable, clean and close to restaurants and shopping.
The location.was very quite that's what we like?and very clean.
Hard to see the sign after dark. Trees/bushes cover the sign. Housekeeping did not replenish coffee/cups/cup sleeves. Needs ice bucket in room.
My daughters loved the glass elevator and the balcony. The rooms were just the right size, not too cozy.
I would have liked a free breakfast, but the cookie with nuts was an okay substitute.
WE HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY. The pool and hot tub was really nice. Had wonderful coffee in the lobby and cookies.
The facility was dated I expected more from this facility
Carpets and furniture appeared new.
A little more distant from the historical area than I would prefer. But, it served us well as a launching point for trips to out of town locations.
Very nice for the money, good value, good staff.
The pools closed the morning after we got there for "yearly maintenance". That was a problem since we had our children with us and they love to swim. We checked out early and went to another Hilton. Both hotels were very accommodating.
I didn't get to stay in April 5 due to the fact when I requested a double room with two double beds it was only actually one room. I had 4 people staying with me including myself and two guest couldn't share the bed. I had to cancel my reservation and look for something different.
Welcome with a warm cookie, very friendly, loved everything
Good room size, comfortable bed, nice Lounge/bar, good breakfast buffet, SUPERB staff and a beautiful property!!
Good location facilities overall for the price
The staff in restaurant was extremely slow, inefficient. We took almost 2 hours for a dinner and 1 hour for breakfast. Food on dinner was cold, staff took 50 minutes to tell that one ordered dish was running out, we asked something else which took forever to come and was awful.
Room was smaller, beds were smaller, plumbing was coarser than I'm used to - supposedly for the disabled - but not to my mind actually meeting disability codes - all of these "lesser" than I thought were guaranteed by my high room rate. They would "try" to make a change the day after arrival (for 5 days or so) but since I was alone (original companion did not come) I decided it just wasn't "worth" the hassle and the moving. It sure was worth a whole lot of money for them though. And as to comfort, it seemed good, yet in retrospect it lacked table, all chairs except desk chair ( no easy chair - not one, or two as shown in the reservation pix) no place fit for putting on shoes or for casual reading, or eating, and no drawers for clothing. Whew! Sounds terrible. Yet it was comfortable for sleeping, and it ventilated well, from outdoors and good mechanical, allowing cool AND heat during volatile summer mountain weather. In short, high cost for deficient customary amenities, but comfortable bed and a well-fitted buiding. Having said that, I'll withdraw it, since there was literally only one elevator for the moderately large building; the maids were pleasant and fun to ride with, but when asked they concurred that it was difficult for them to manage all their linen around these guests and baggage. Maybe I'll think of some more trouble, but time has passed and the mind weakens.....
Very close to the road that took us to the Opera.
Parking is tight
Interior decor, friendly staff.
1. Location. 2. Asked for a quiet room, got one facing the busy street and overlooking the pool. 3. Hope they fixed the bathtub drainage problem.
