room across from ice dispenser was very loud because of unruly guests getting ice in middle of night
Access to everything
I paid for room with breakfast. ( two days) The staff in restaurant was so bad, I went to front desk and complained to manger.
Clean, courteous staff, comfortable bed & convenient location
The staff were very helpful
They don't offer shuttle to airport. The room could have used a bit of minor work and a better cleaning.
Location was perfect. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The people were very helpfull
$22/Night parking fee.. :(
Loved being in walking distance of Beale St. Not to mention walking across the street to see the duck March at the Peabody was a plus! Ribs at the Rendezvous... Delicious!! I love being in Memphis each time I go!!
Really outdated. Needs a multi-million dollar renovati
Location and staff
A rude guest with children in lobby, my air conditioner fan was a little loud and my television changes channels a couple of times without remote being used
Location and staff giving me directions and suggestions on where to go etc
Bed was not that comfortable
Staff was VERY friendly...
The breakfast was not the best. Thin biscuit gravy, soggy waffles, rubbery eggs.
Nice, clean room. Close to Beale Street and Rendezvous Ribs (best ribs in the world!) Friendly, professional staff.
The air con was deafening - but on the plus side it drowned out the noise of the people in the corridors / rooms - the walls are paper thin!
When we arrived a 4pm on a Saturday, our room still wasn't ready. Also, there is a $22/day parking fee. That ups the nightly rate and should be disclosed up front!!
The location is right across the street from the Peabody and just a couple of blocks from lots of good restaurants.
Hotel needs a refurbishment to bring interior up to nowadays standards. However bed and shower are very good.
Location in the heart of Memphis is perfect. Beale street and FedEx Forum are only a few minutes away. Go to Bon-Ton cafe for Memphis and central BBQ for dinner!
It was old and needed to be refurbished! If they advertise as breakfast included, then don't make me pay!
We didn't get the room I booked. The bathrooms are impossibly small. Lobby looks nice but rooms are dated and in need of repair.
House keeping did not make up room Had to wait and call three times for an iron they took away after the first day Breakfast was poor, servers very unfriendly, Forgetfull, not paying attention
Location Valet people Girls behind the bar were very helpful and friendly
I have been at my position for over 6 years and my property is 10 years old. I saw that housekeeping leaves strands of hair within the towels and shower wall area. The tub was draining slow and filling up during my shower, so I ultimately knew what was wrong, and it was due to a lot of long hair within the drain that had to be there for at least a couple weeks if not a month's time from previous guests. I was only there for 1 night but I am big on housekeeping at my property and our housekeepers are to check the drains in the sink and tub during each checkout. Not making a big complaint out if it just informing you on the situation.
I loved the Front Desk and Valet staff. They were all friendly and they gave us fast service. I loved that the location was basically within walking distance from where we needed to be. I would stay here again just because of the staff and location.
The lack of transportation to local places within a mile of the hotel. We were told that if you are going to a "special event" we don't transport. I would think that a special event would be the reason to transport. And the van was just setting not in use. The location we wanted to go you may ask, the Memphis Cook Convention Center.
The staff overall was wonderful, very helpful with a smile.
It was close to Beale street. Walking distance to food n music. Friendly staff
I had to ask the staff several times for towels! Shouldn't that just come with the room? I had two. No housekeeping so we ran out. I got a response of: "aren't you leaving?" Well, I'd still like to take a shower first! The price of the room "changed" by $15/night while I was there too. Plus $25/day to park, plus state and city tax. It really wasn't worth it. Especially with the beautiful Peabody right next door!
I liked the location it was very convenient to get around downtown.
Staff was terrible room description was wrong no ice in machine and valet one of the evenings made me walk to my car
Close to Beale st
One of the towels was dirty ..
Booked the room for a trip to Memphis to see the Grizzlies vs Lakers. Location was perfect...room was right by the elevator. Quiet area
