Paying for parking added18% to the room charges! Didn't know until I checked out!! So if I would have know I would have stayed at a different motel! With no cost to park!! So booking.com didn't save me anything!!!!
Was late getting into our room but they did make this up by not charging us
Staff were helpful. Rendezvous BBQ Restaurant and Bon Ton Café less than a block away and great food. Short walk to Beale Street. Peabody Hotel across the street. Room looked to be recently refurbished.
Garbage truck showed up at 3:30 AM Saturday morning
Bathroom small, expensive for what you got.
Close to downtown, hospitality,
Having to pay for parking, only one elevator worked, ice machine didn't work on our floor.
The friendly staff!
Slow elevator, I do realize it was being worked on. I also thought valet parking was too expensive.
Bathroom too small.
Nice location, right opposite the lovely Peabody Hotel ( for drinks and desserts) and a quick walk from Beale Street. Nice heated outdoor pool with access from our room was a bonus. Basic but clean and pleasant.
Parking a bit expensive.
The location is perfect. Value overall was good
Bathroom was way to small. Didn't like the some of the staff gave conflicting info when it came to transportation. I think everyone should be on the same page!
TOILET PAPER HOLDER DUCT TAPED TO THE WALL, ROOM WAS DIRTY- DUST ++ HAIR IN THE SHOWER, CARPET WAS DIRTY, GARBAGE IN THE HALLWAYS
I loved the location that the hotel is in. Everything is conveniently located near us. We were in walking distance of everything we came to Memphis to do.
The elevator did not work on the morning we were getting ready to go to breakfast. We had to walk down ten flights of stairs.
Location was tops. In center of all the activities and within walking distances of major attractions
Elevators weren't working properly causing long waits. Carpet needed cleaning.
Top-notch staff Excellent breakfast options Very comfortable beds Convenience market just down the street Nice view of the Peabody Good walking distance to many attractions
Hvac is noisy if it is NOT on (something is rattling in the ducts)
Close to everything able to walk to most places
Quite noisy through the walls
Hotel was perfect for all attractions with Beal Street just a few blocks around the corner, my room located on the 9th floor, nice and quiet and clean, staff were very helpful and the bar staff couldnt be more helpful.
Just a minor thing, it cost me $45 to take a taxi to the nearest Shopping Mall, its a shame Holiday Inn dont run a shuttle there a couple of times during the day this would be essential for tourists as there are no big stores like Macey's around.
LOCATION SAVING &
FORCED TO USE VALET
the location and my room was comfortable
the place is a bit dated and the elevators were shocking and the food not that good
The location was excellent, near all the attractions Sun Studio, Rock and Soul Museum etc The beds were so comfy that we wished we coud take them back home. Staff were very helpful
The elevators were extremely slow Our room was next to the elevators and it could be noisy at times.
Very friendly staff, walking distance to Beale St and Sun Studios.
Uncomfortable bed, old furnishings, mandatory valet parking, not worth over $150 per night.
within walking distance to most attractions and restaurants and across the street from the Peabody ducks which is a must to see.
The staff were very nice but need to brush up on their knowledge of the things to do and how to get there.
Although we had to wait for our room, the registration staff were very friendly. Our Porter, Jessie, was the best. Very friendly, helpful with suggestions on places to dine and bars to visit. He highly recommended the Café Blue Café for ribs and he was bang on - great place, busy and only had to wait a few minutes to get in. This is a great place to go and it is walking distance from the hotel, as is Beale Street. Excellent location - directly across from the Peabody Hotel and 2 blocks from the action on Beale Street. We lucked out with this one. Daniel, valet was extremely helpful as well. As two women travelling we felt very safe and glad we received the information from these two gentlemen.
Service in the restaurant for breakfast was great but we both had omelets and unfortunately they were drenched in butter so we weren't able to eat them. Our room was very nice, but we were right across from the ice machine and near the elevator. It was fine for one night but would not have liked it for any length of time. The walls are very thin as well so sound really carried.
Location, clean room, comfortable
Ad Said Continental Breakfast was included but had to pay for on site had to go to Denny's next door, I didn't like the 20 dollar valet fee
Comfy beds, efficient house cleaning.
No airport shuttle even though one was advertised. Elevators worked poorly.
