Location is good. Hotel is attractive.

Our reservation stated our rate included breakfast. We expected a buffet, but found a regular restaurant and we were not given a necessary voucher upon check in as the desk staff was on the phone and not attentive to us. Ultimately after asking, we received a voucher for $20.00 but it stated that it was good for a particular breakfast listed on the menu. There was not a hotel services booklet in the room.

Overall appearance and cleanliness was top rate. Restaurant food was fresh, healthy, and tasty.

    Can't think of a thing.

I booked a suite and was given a regular room. The front desk person tried repeatedly to convince me that I had been given the correct room. I had to show her the room confirmation and description from my computer screen to get her to concede that there was a mistake. Finally, she admitted that the suite I booked was not available and claimed that there was a computer mistake on my booking. I had to press her for a rate adjustment which was not adequate in my opinion given the circumstances and amount of discussion needed to acknowledge the error. Since the hotel was full with NCAA track school athletes, the front desk was too busy to care about me and seemed to think I should just be happy to have a room at all. Breakfast in the morning was also not great since the hungry athletes made it impossible to find an empty seat or for the staff to keep the buffet supplied. A hot breakfast tuned into toast and coffee. The elevators were packed after long waits and the work out room was too crowded to battle. My guess is that the was overwhelmed by so many guest athletes and since I was not there for the NCAAs, my visit was an unfortunate time to be at this hotel. My stay was overpriced and less than enjoyable given the circumstances, though I think it could have been perfectly nice at a more appropriate price with a more normal guest booking for the staff (and likely a better front desk attitude). The hotel is clean and close to restaurants, shopping, and highways but feels like it would normally be a very quiet and comfortable stay.

Loved the king suite room we had this time. Think we will go for this same room from now on. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Great location close to where our grandson lives. Plus we love breakfast at Elmers. We tend to come to town about twice a month to see our grandson. This time, our 2 year old grandson got to spend a night with us, and they delivered a nice roll-away bed for him that was perfect. We will be back. Thank you.

Bathroom vanity too small. Flat screen TV sets were extremely too small. Not enough mirrors, the only mirror in the whole room was in the bathroom, Not Good! Disappointed in the lighting inside the room, too dim, no enough lighting. No ventilation, none of the windows could be opened and could not get any air flow. Did not like the leather seating in the sofa and lounge chairs, made them very cold against bare skin. Decided to try in hotel restaurant for dinner and the service was horrible and the food was not very good either. Think we will stick to going out for dinner while there.

We like to stay in this Holiday Inn Hotel on Kruse Way in Springfield OR. We often travel from Smith River CA, about 4 hours away. We may have stayed here probably 8 times over past 5 months. Comfortable 1 to 2 night stay most generally. Great location close to various, yummy places to eat, Movies and shopping. Best of all, it's close to where our grandson lives. The beds are very comfortable and always seem fresh. Desk clerks are always friendly and helpful. It's one of our favorite places to stay in Springfield OR.

First time this happened, or at least that we noticed. When we turned our sheets down, there were wads of hair. Eeeeek! Clerk sincerely apologized and sheets were replaced with 3 more sheets, one that was dirty and the other 2 did not fit. Hotel kindly moved us to a different room across the hall. It was late, we were tired and it seemed clean. We received a Free Movie ticket. We will be staying at another hotel just to take a break for now. Things happen, but how could you miss seeing "wads of hair on white sheets". Not sure if we will go back. Just be sure to check the sheets... I think that after us trying to change the sheets 3 times and ultimately having to move to a different room late at night is worth a little more than a $20.00 movie ticket. Paid $120.00 for one night.

A very quite comfortable hotel with the convenience of a convention room on site. Many restaurants are close and walking distance.

Restaurant although new needs improvement with staffing. Convenient only for breakfast

Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, friendly & helpful. It didn't seem like it was just a job.

Nothing negative - well, maybe the menu.
