This hotel is just fine for a quick over nighter....This hotel is kind of old compared to the brand new hotel next door, I think its a Hampton, its only a year or two old and we stayed there last year.....but this Holiday Inn is right next door and they allow dogs, so thats why we stayed there this time....I Checked in at around 11pm and asked for a top floor quite room and the attendant was very nice and accommodated me with no problems.....just remember, if you have an animal there, be sure to read the disclosure they give you about having animals....you have to have hotel staff check your room for pet damage before you leave so you and the hotel can make sure no stains were put there by your pet...overall, this is a fine hotel....we are very particular travelers as we go all around the country and world.....this place is just fine......also be aware it is close to Six flags, so there are a lot of family's there, but it never became an issue with noise or anything!...great place, would stay there again..................................booking.com has the best prices out there and no booking fees!!!! I always use this site

Door handle was giggly and didn't shut properly, so when someone opened another room door or the door to the outside stairs it would cause our room door to make noise....nothing big, but would be annoying if you are a light sleeper...doesn't matter though when you got the ac pumping all day and night to help with the 110 degree heat of St. Louis!
