Our room had a beautiful view of the river and appeared very clean. The staff was friendly and courteous and the facilities were well maintained. The coffee (caribou coffee) was delicious as well as the on site restaurant (fair prices and good quality).
I didn't like the parking situation in the back but not really a big deal, just narrow entry way so it would be tough for an SUV.
Room size. Pool wqs nice.
Bookings quoted 333.00. When i got there it was 584.00. But I needed sleep after 35 hour airportt stay. Was very annoyed.
Manager said had park and fly rate on web site. I don't see it on their site.
I like the look and the setting for the convent to mall off america & the shuttle ride.
I didn't like the low garages top for big suv and big size cargo van, i think that there should be some type of breakfast offered for customer for free include in on there stay, i work for Waste Management and been herre for a long time but if i wasn't on bussiness or have a corp account there was no discount for me to use for my peronal leisure, i think there pool area should have more convent hours, because if your at the mall most of the nday u want to relax with famliy when u come back and they could be closed, u have to just go to the room which if your on vacation u do want to do more into it's time to go home.
The staff was extremely kind as I found most guests were all kind as well. The bed was so comfortable. I love when beds are the perfect amount of softness. This one wasn't a horrible pillow top that destroys my back the next day. It was a normal mattress with a fluffy pad (possibly down mattress pad) and I was surrounded with a quality comforter and 4 large pillows. The room was nice and big. I had plenty of space to scatter out my luggage and shopping bags. I was easily granted a late check out. I also liked that the train station was nearby so I was able to take one for my first time easily to the MOA. A nice lady named 'Tammy' explained to me how to do this.
Housekeeping knocked on my door when the 'DO NOT DISTURB' sign was up. I had requested and was granted a late check-out, so maybe there was some confusion. The bathroom vent located in the upper left shower/bath area was dirty, but you know it's working when it's sucked in that much mess from the air. Food was a bit pricey for what you get.
Obliging, efficient, friendly staff Awesome pool Great restaurant Shuttle service Super comfy beds
They have free shuttles that go frequently to the Mall of America and the MSP airport. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean.
no continental breakfast
I reserved two rooms through booking.com. When I got to the motel they only had one reservation. I had to show htem my confirmation e-mail showing the two rooms were reserved. They were able to accommedate and all was good. I just want to pass this on in case there was a glitch in the system to look into. Thanks
Free parking, free internet, fair price
The location was great! Close to the Mall of America and the Tram platform was right outside of the hotel so it was easy to get to St Paul or Minneapolis.
the hot tub was not very warm. They did not have PPV movies even though the add said they did. Breakfast was not included.
Shuttle service from MSP very convenient.
Close to airport but didn't hear the planes.
Awkward to get to. Parking garage across the street.
We arrived after mid of night, and only found out the doors tucked. The security guy tried quite a few times with no success. At that time, we thought someone was sleeping inside, ... we finally opened the door after 2:00 am.
Free Lounge food and drinks on the 13th floor. This was very nice for someone who had an international flight and just needs a good snack and drink before getting sleep.
It was our wedding night and they upgraded our room for free!! It was also very convenient to have the shuttle to and from and airport! Thank you!!
Location close to airport and mall . Wifi good
Near the airport, convenient, regular shuttles, great helpful staff
Great location. Close to the highway and mall of America
It rained for two days and our window leaked continuously. We had to keep changing out a towel to soak up the water. The bedroom itself was roomy but the bathroom was very small and not very updated compared to the bedroom
House keeping needs to leave adequate supplies in room
The staff is excellent.
Access to the parking.
The hotel was clean and welcoming
The parking is a JOKE the hotel only has the 4th floor of the parking garage, there was a large event going on during our stay, we left to go get a bite to eat and came back to no parking availablity on the designated floor, so we drive around and found a spot only to notice that it was reserved for the office building located accriss the street. Now mind you this was a Saturday and the office was closed but I did not want to risk it and get a ticket so someone pulled out of the sopt one over from us and this was not a marked spot, so we procceded to park in the other spot, there was a security guard for the ramo right behind us tagging another vehicle to be towed:( My boyfriend asked him to moved as he was standing in between our vehicle and the vehicle he was tagging, once he got their lice # he should have moved out of the way, he asked him again to move and he said you are just going to have to wait Mike said really how long does it take you and where are we suppose to park, he finally was able to pull up and attemped backing into the other spot, bumping the vehicle next to us on the bumber, very minor damages, the security guard starts yelling at us you hit that car you hit that car, Mike gets out and says yes I did and you need to get out of peoples way, he then proceeds to tell is that he is calling the police because Mike is beligerant, and not going to just leave, um hello we were not planning on going anywhere but to locate the owner of the vehicle and do what is right. As this is going on another man is trying to park across from us and rent a cop starts yelling at him telling him if he parks there that he will be towed, I really think that there needs to be something done about the parking at this hotel, we will not go back.
The layout of the king suite was nice
Every time I called the feont desk nobody answered! Theydidnt have a posted schedule for shuttles to the mall of america and once at the mall the shuttle to go back was full and the driver said he would be right back but didnt show up for another hour leaving us standing in the freezing cold with a 10 month old baby. Next time we will save money and go to the best western
It's an adequate hotel for its purpose. Close to the airport, decent restaurant, enough treadmills.
For the price, this hotel should be nicer. Maybe it was once. Now it feels a little bit run down. One of the perks of staying in a pricey hotel is that the mattresses and bedding are luxurious. Not so here. Also, and this is not the hotel's fault, but there is nothing, and I mean nothing within walking distance. Including and especially a grocery store, which I would have liked for snacks.
