everything was very clean
low water pressure in bathroom sink toilet did not flush well bathroom fan did not work
Location and size of the room. Breakfast ok
Close to downtown
Everything. Walking distance to the historic city center.
Location good for touring, within walking distance of several sites. Don't remember her name, but our housekeeper was friendly and very nice. Restaurant and housekeeping staff very professional and friendly
Michelle at front desk knowledgeable, helpful. Other front desk staff not knowing about local sites and no interested in providing info. Since St.A. is a tourist site, they should know and provide written information.
Very friendly and responsive staff
Bed was lumpy and soft; room wasn't made up after 1st day (but was completed within minutes of our complaint); water drainage in room was terrible (toilet, sink); antiquated elevator.
Centrally located, very clean, with reserved grace. Courtous staff.
We booked two two queen beds rooms. The overall aspect of the room seem fair, until we looked closer. None of the sheets inn any of the 4 beds were changed. It was especially obvious looking at the fitted sheet. The bathroom still had "traces" of the previous guests. Extremely disappointed.
Pretty close at a good price
A few maintenance issues. Missing trim and fan did not work.
Breakfast too expensive
We've found a pair shoes and socks not belonging to us in the room. We just saw them the morning we left.
Comfortable room and good breakfast
Kept us waiting to sit down for breakfast too long- tables should be cleared and ready for next group better. ( Think there was a morale issue. Some of cleaning staff didn't show up one day and tho our room was clean, the staff there was still cleaning rooms after 5 pm!)
Clean, comfortable beds, nice hot tub, rates, scrumptious breakfast!
Front desk gave out bad information on timing of local tour. We could have slept in another hour if we hadn't relied on their information. Also, the shower stall was streaked with long strands of black hair. We didn't notice it until the second day because of the color veining of the shower walls. Yuck!
Close enough to walk to town
Wish breakfast was free
Beds, room set up, staff
There were small ants in bathroom when we first got into room. Also the toilet would not flush unless you did it twice. It was very slow working and had no pressure to take everything down . We killed the few we saw and thought we were okay. We stayed at your hotel due to a function we were attending and left for that once we were cleaned up. When we got back around 12:30 there were ants all in my makeup and bath essentials. At that point it was far to late at night to switch rooms due to the ants and we noticed the toilet still not working right. The next morning dealt with it all over again. Was so disappointed as we have stayed at much cheaper hotels in st augustine before but decided to upgrade this time. Not a good experience.
the lady at the desk gave us wonderful recommendations for dinner and she was right on about what was good.
The fire alarm went off, no one seemed to know why at the front desk, an engineer entered our room while we were in it one night, he thought the room was empty, the shower support fell off the wall when we went to use it. Every thing seemed to be under repair.
Good location near the historic downtown area. We were made very welcome and the breakfast was very good indeed.
The room and the hotel environs are in need of an upgrade. We felt that our one night stay was over priced by some margin!
Much too expensive
Nothing really sticks out just an average place.
You have to pay to eat a subpar breakfast so we ate out instead. Was placed in a handicap room that turns out was not exactly clean. The maintanence person should be fired. You can see where he rigged things like the shower head and floor tile. I should have paid a little more to get a better room closer to the attractions. Life lesson you pay for what you get. What's 11.75 room tax per day? This is not a resort! Will not stay there again.
The hotel is not as close in the historical district as they lead you to believe. When we got there to check in, the front desk clerk rushed us through our paperwork( he was very rude too) and gave us a key to a room on the third floor. Upon going to said room, my husband used the key to open the door and someone else was already in there!! Then, as we are going to the front desk to tell them what happened, using the stairs, on the second step, I fell and busted my tailbone! There were NO wet floor signs out, and just looking at the step you could not see it was wet. My husband said after I fell, he heard someone down stairs scurry out with the mop bucket. When we finally made it down the the front desk and spoke with the manager, she did comp us out one night of our stay, for which I was grateful, but overall had such a bad experience I would never stay again. They were also in the middle of a remodel, which was messy and noisy and I feel they should disclose that when you are booking the hotel.
The room was large and comfortable. Overall it was good value for money.
Renovations were being carried out which became inconvenient since some areas were out of bounds and an elevator was out of action for part of the time.
stayed in room 113, up half the night with doors slamming.
Conveniently located, hotel and room were clean and comfortable, staff was very helpful
