Loved the hourly free trolley to Universal Studios
May 23, 2015
The location is ideal! Property has been updated and is very easy on the eyes. Enjoyed the shuttle to Universal Studios. The restaurant offers good quality food for reasonable prices.

Expensive hotel with no free coffee for breakfast or fruit nothing and 25.00 a day to park is rediclous.

A little pricey.
Attention to detail.

the parking fee is expensive
the balcony is wonderful and the pool, open garden looks amazing

Small breakfast area and attendants were busy hosting many guests. Waiter forgot our orders and coffee servant somehow avoided to fill my cup despite I placed my cup to the edge of the table for her to see. We felt somewhat neglected, but I was told the 15% service charge was included to my bill automatically which was not fine with me.
Location was great not far from the Universal Studio. Room was clean.

The price is not worth the stay no continental breakfast

Shame the restaurant was under refurbishment but staff coped well under difficult circumstances.
Friendliness of staff especially Sonia in the restaurant. My husband is in a wheelchair and nothing was too much trouble, very kind and helpful.

The kitchen was being refurbished which meant the menu was very limited
Clean hotel in a good location to the metro and Universal Studios which the hotel provide a free shuttle bus.

Pool cold on first day, should have microwave in the room - wanted to charge extra for one, should be included when there is a fridge. Overall enjoyed and would stay again
Bed comfortable, room overlooking the pool with balcony very nice.

Everything!! Decor, comfy beds, cleanness, location - We only ate breakfast at the hotel and it was really nice. I don't have any faults - will definitely stay again.

The air con was noisy.
April 21, 2015
Keycards demagnetised often. Upper floor (7th) very noisy, 4th floor was excellent. Some problems occurred but were solved adequately by staff. Children not admitted in spa.
Spacious rooms, good food, wonderful vibe, excellent pool, great bellman.

The wifi didn't really work, the parking was $22 per night even though my confirmation said $19 and then they add tax & service on top of that making parking for4 nights way over $100. Reception staff weren't the greatest or most welcoming.
The hotel itself was in a great location, rooms comfy & very clean. Bar staff were excellent.

The only thing I didn't like was the cost of the breakfast. We only had it the morning we left to save time. Although the food tasted good and it was a nice variety, it cost 2 of us $40. Could do with being a bit cheaper.
It was in a good location with a free trolley to Universal and the Red Line a Metro station. It was a great base for exploring LA. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and clean. It wasn't at all noisy. We were upgraded to a pool view room, which also faced the main street but couldn't hear road noise with patio doors shut. Good free wifi connection.

most everybody is great...had a couple issues... one of the bartenders...a guy....who took my drink order ...then proceeded to wait on someone else....this happened 4 times then I asked what the problem was ....he said he didn't realize he was doing it....i guess he is somebody's nephew...and they had to hire him... then a guy at the front desk was a little less than helpful....maybe he was new. the others staff was GREAT! very helpful, Very Nice.... Oh and $7.50 is a little pricey for a beer...
Very neat and clean.. the greenery plants, ivy ....very nice

I loved the free shuttle to and from Universal Studios, also the hotel was one exit away from downtown Hollywood and the Grauman Theater
April 16, 2015
Location... But the things we wanted were all over the place. We were always using metro or Uber to get around... Good enough but at the end of a long day touring we'd usually end up with the 15 min walk back from metro. With a hire car or more willingness to Uber all over the location would be fine. They do have a shuttle until 2115pm from the metro, but we'd always be coming back later than that.
This was our base in LA following 8 days at the mgm grand in an excellent room. Surprisingly we found this hotel to be equally as impressive in its own ways. Good sized room, good beds, good tv, large safe, good space to store things - and a lot more personal than the mgm obviously. The staff constantly go out of their way to make you feel very welcome.

Scott and his team for the urban tour. Hotel nice staff friendly and helpful.
April 11, 2015
Everything in the bathroom gets wet if you have a shower... Evrything. The hotel cafeteria forgot my order twice over two days and my wife's dinner came out cold. Would suggest to avoid eating there as they also charge a 15% hotel fee (aka hidden gratuity) as standard on all orders. Charging to the room doesn't seem work and I was basically forced out of the pool to pay for a drink. By the time I returned the pool was closed and I couldn't enjoy the drink I had to pay for. The hotel staff were completely unapologetic and unhelpful. Definitely would never stay there again.
The location was adequate for access to Universal studios and that's about it.

I thought the hitel was smaller.
April 6, 2015
Parkin was to expensive. $22.00 a night is a lot. So I think!
Staff was nice. Room was also very nice.

There was only one elevator in my building and the pillows were way to hard.
Really liked the pool area and fitness room.
