Location comfort security
The beds are very comfortable and we asked to be moved from the worksite lookout. Which we did to a front room which made our stay alot happier.
No breakfast. At @ $260US this is poor value. No microwave. No water bottles...Other hotels do. Tiny bath. Had to ask for some shampoo etc.
Friendly and helpfull staff, great location, big rooms, veery clean
Is a little dated but ok, construction next door.
Loved being in the heart of Waikiki. Everything so close. ..excellent shopping, restaurants and of course the beach! Friendly helpful staff provided excellent service. Grest value for money.
(1) It would have been great to have a microwave and mini-fridge since I arrived very late and had to leave fairly early. (2) Room service would be great for people who need to leave very early.
Great front desk staff, very helpful and always willing. Breakfast menu wasn't all that great, especially if breakfast was included in your room rate and the food too time to come out. However, staff were very helpful and friendly.
Location - very central Not an overcrowded hotel
Noise from air conditioning units outside & below us
Location was excellent could walk a lot of places. Breakfast deal at Jimmy Buffets was great. Beds fantastic and so comfortable rooms very clean and good size. View was good if high enough. Staff was the best. Went out of their way to assist in whatever you needed
Set up of hotel. Difficulty checking in with a vehicle. Chaos dropping off in the so called lobby which is entrance to Macy's. Construction next doo 07-17 6 days a week, I know the hotel has no control on what is being built around them, We have travelled and are not naïve but I think charging $35 day to park your car is gauging. I am sure this is hotel policy or whomever owns the site but I would not return here for this reason only.
the room is not very fancy at this price，the partial sea view is not worthy
Pool and spa excellent facility plus ample beach towels. Had two sessions in the bar and found the barman, Colin and Eric, good at conversation.
The restaurant menu very disappointing, mor like a limited cafe menu.
Central location. It's close to shops, beach, tour pick up. Staff at reception and tour desk are friendly and great with advice.
Time to change the beds. It has seen better days.
Friendly staff. Very clean and close to all the shops and restaurants.
Noisy. We could hear traffic and construction machinery all night long. I had to use ear plugs to get to sleep.
We were very impressed with the front desk staff at the Beachcomber. They were all extremely friendly and cheerful and accommodated all our requests without question. We had a late night flight and were even offered a courtesy room for a shower and clean up before heading to the airport! We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again in the future if we are lucky enough to visit Waikiki again.
location, very central beds were very comfortable room size was good. staff were mostly friendly.
currently next to a construction zone so very noisy and not relaxing at all, construction starts at 7 am, so no sleep in, check this before you book as feel this will be the case for a while. they also closed the pool while we were there for a private party and seeing they only have one pool, was not happy. Check in staff could be more helpful and maybe explain a little about the hotel and facilities and how to use the keys in the lifts, we went up and down 5 times before another guest showed us what to do and it turned out that our keys were not programmed, so would not have worked any way. would not stay there again
location, room was reasonable size and clean, décor was also good. nice pool/bar area with a jimmy buffet on site.
street noise but you get use to it.
Location was awesome
Breakfast at jimmy buffets was very limited and horrible
Holiday Inn is in a great location. Very close to everything. Food, shops, malls, markets, trolley picks up across the road, buses, pool, bar and the beach is across the road. Loved it.
Comfort and convenience. Restaurant on-site with excellent Happy Hour offerings... both food and drink.
Very busy hotel, lots of people.
All of the hotel and it's location and view are perfect.
Jimmy Buffett's is a Florida restaurant, it doesn't fit the Waikiki life style and attitude. Leave it for the East Coast Resorts. Not only that, the place was not well managed and was understaffed.
Check out was noon - our flight was at 9pm. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel kept our luggage for the day and allowed us use of the facilities and provided a key card where access was required.
We booked our stay with breakdast. Turns out that Jimmy Buffets occupies hotel space. A coupon is needed from the hotel for a sit down breakfast with an associated menu that is limited. At this point, I'm tipping a waitress for a breakfast I don't really want. There was no issue with the breakdast or the staff. I prefer self serve breakfasts with hot and cold selections - that's my issue. He I known, I would have chosen a different hotel.
Loved the location everything is a short stroll away. Our housekeeper Maricod was amazing always a smile on her face. Have been here twice now and we will be coming back. See you in two years holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber.
Location was great, pool area was good, customer service was fantastic, rooms were comfortable and clean.
Wifi in the lobby and pool area wasn't the best, but in the rooms it worked fine.
Good position, comfortable room, would be good for families
Expensive Some of reception staff not very helpful/friendly
Excellant location to all shopping, Waikiki beach, bus transport to outside districts etc. Rooms were quite adequate, comfortable bedding and clean bathroom. Very efficient staff at reception.
No restaurant facilities within hotel. Not overly impressed with Jimmys(I think this was the name). Breakfast not the best, decor left a lot to be desired,waiters/staff not very helpful on menu items.
