great for visiting the Mall and other downtown attractions of DC. Located a block from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. The staff was friendly and helpful. They let us store our bags while we walked around before check-in. Room was nice

The location was very close to the Mall. The dinner which we had in The Bistro restaurant was quite nice. Parking was available at an additional 30 euro per night plus tax. Internet was available at no extra charge.

Though I requested a quiet room we were given a room which overlooked the railway line which was located a few yards from the front of the hotel. The rooms on the other side of the corridor overlook an interior courtyard which would have been quieter. I fail to see why we could not have been accommodated in one of these. I thought the rate was of 230 dollars P.N.(inc parking) was excessive.

You must know that it is far from restaurants and night life ( it is a bussiness/gov.offices area). You must know that it is not a gourmet place. And never saw a bar so badly managed. It is full but there no place else to go nearby.

Within walking distance to the Capitol. The Bistro had excellent food. Everyone was very friendly. Enjoyed our trip!

The location was very convenient to the museums and national monuments. We didn't use out car at all. The staff was very friendly as well and the room service was delicious!

We requested a quiet room (we have a 6month old) and ended up being surrounded by high school age kids that were pretty rowdy all night. The hotel manager was very sympathetic the next morning and did his best to make it right again.

The whole atmosphere was lovely and friendly and the staff were so good, nothing or any question we had was dealt with so pleasantly. We so enjoyed the organised bus trip and it covered everything we wanted to see so well done. I always stay in the Holiday Inn both in Ireland and abroad

Closeness to the Mall

Lack of food in this area. On sight food was way over priced.

The rooms were comfortable, with a great shower.

I booked through a website, called to confirm the day before and hi didn't have it. Spent couple of hours getting it straight. Then when finally arrive at 2:45, they said the room was not ready, but would be in a half an hour, then another half hour, then another!!! Though they gave us vouchers for breakfasr for both screw ups, I would have rather just been told that the room wouldn't be ready for a couple of hours so I could have left my luggage and went sightseeing.

Staff was friendly and always ready to help - with a smile.

Unexpected expensive parking fee. Someone entering our room while we were out. We stopped in after the cleaning lady completed her effort.My wife used the rest room before we left, I did not. When we returned in the evening, the toiled lid and seat were up. My wife does not stand and she "always" closes the lid. Someone use our facility which was upsetting. We then became insecure in leaving our room not knowing who and why our room was accessed.
