it was cheap and quiet-ish, breakfast better than I expected
the motel is tired and room wasn't really comfortable. Had to knock the receptionist up eventually to get in for breakfast. Wouldn't stay again
Staff were unprofessional and unprepared upon check in, couldn't find our reservation even though it was there, room smelled old, gross and previously smoked in, very small, front door wouldn't open fully because it hit the dresser. Window was cracked, door knob and lock were not secure. My wife did not feel safe staying there. Random girl was outside sitting on the stairs in the rain, which was creepy.
I mean it was 50 bucks but I would have rather spent 75. Close to Olympic
Poor heating Poor lighting Lazy management Door locks inadequate
The price. Nice staff.
Old and dated
Location convenient for Olympic National Park. We were given a full refund when we chose to cancel.
We just felt instantly uncomfortable when we were checking in - the man behind the counter told another guest he could just let himself into their room whenever he wanted. There was also a dead goldfish in a bowl in the reception area, which was a bit unsettling! We were then given a room that hadn't been made up and it was clear that the rooms were tired and wouldn't have been very clean. As two young girls travelling, we got a really bad vibe from the place and didn't feel comfortable staying so we found somewhere else to go. I'd strongly advise anyone travelling alone/in a situation where you might feel vulnerable to book somewhere else!
Room size small. Poor security. Entrance door had a bathroom door lock. No security chain on entrance door. Room window didn't close properly. I took my valuables with me each time I left the room.
Good value for price. Great location to travel from and see lots of nature sites.
Upon opening the door, we gagged. After getting our suitcases in the room, we drove to Safeway and bought a can of odor killing Lysol. We sprayed everything, including the bedding. Used at least half the can. The next morning, tried to take a shower... the drain backed up instantly. Did a sponge bath from the sink. Rotted molding was filled in with caulking and paint. Saddly, it was the peak of turist season and no where else to go. If you find it's the last motel in town, sleep in your car.
I stayed 2 nights 9/11 and 9/12/14 in unit 230. Property was built in the 50's and looks and feels it. Single-pane glass right on VERY busy US HWY 101. Mold on carpet and in closet. (I will be writing the Health Department.) No toilet paper holder. Office reeks of smoke. Thinnest towels. You get the picture. Spend another $10 or $20 a night and stay someplace else. 1 star for location close to Huricane Ridge and Lake Crescent.
See my comments above.
Old, dirty, smelly, noisy; did not give us a microwave or ref. as promised. Did not even make the beds!!!!
The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, and with a smoke shop, and the Sparket 420 dispensary across the street.....what more could u ask. Lol Not the Hilton, or the Drury, and a lot easier on the wallet. We would definitely go back!!! Did I mention 420 friendly??? :-)
The allover condition of the facility, the interior of the room
The room smelled musty, air conditioner didn't work, flies gathered on something outside the door
bed was ok
sink was dirty paint pealing shower head to short, to much in room could not move around, Big chair big table big TV stand.
I took numerous photos of the issues. This place was so run down & should be condemned! The people were horribly rude! Then when I went in my room I was hit by an unidentifiable stench. There was no air conditioning, one window that opened 1/2 way, the fridge was broken, there were water stains & leaks from the shower into the closet which made it smell moldy and unusable, the room was so tiny & I was even afraid to leave my luggage in my room to go out & eat! Cuz of the employees!
The room and reception were very clean.
Staff not customer friendly. Room very basic. Location unexciting
Price and continental breakfast
Wifi very slow
the only1 thing was that it was convent to a main roadway.
a very small room to have 2 queen size beds in , also was old facility and smelled like the room had been closed up for some time, was very disappointed the web said was good deal well i would have spent the extra to stay elsewhere had know this.
It's a cheap motel in our opinion.
1. It took 10 minutes for water to get warm for showers (suggestion from staff - not very economical) 2. They used to have a kitchen, but they left all the hookups in the wall sticking out - that was our décor, I guess. 3. The prices was at least $25/night too high for what we got!
It was close to the port after a long day of touring
I'm not sure why you even have this as an option in booking.com. It was a dump and scary. June brown
Their were a lot of suspicious looking people staying/living there. The water in the shower was freezing. The room smelled. There was a lot of traffic coming and going at night The "continental breakfast" was a joke at best. .
