Friendly, helpful staff. Well located to good shopping, bus route & super market.
My room was on Ala Wai Boulevard so I found it quite noisy at night. But I goot used to it by the 2nd night.
The number one plus is the staff who are extremely friendly and helpful. We liked the free daily local paper, the full kitchen and the closeness to the buses, stores and restaurants on Kuhio. We will probably stay here again.
Staying 2 blocks from the main hotel even if it was an upgrade. We preferred the main hotel where we stayed last year. It was a one bedroom, spare apartment with no phone. The air conditioning and lighting were not great there and there was no tub as we had asked for. But it was big compared to most rooms and we got used to it!
Perfect location, staff was very helpful and kind, and the room has a balcony and lots of space to relax. Having a kitchenette is very nice so you can manage your own food and grocery stores are just around the corner! I would come back again!
The shower could have been cleaned a bit better or repaired as it seemed a tad old, but it worked well.
The people who work in the hotel was excelente, they gave us important and use full sugestiones.
The kitchen was too old, it needs a renovation 100% right now!!!!!, or it will have an accidente soon, and also the Windows do not close complétely so the noise from the street come to the room, they have to reeplace them.
Location was great and clean bed bathroom
Kitchen facilities very old
Poor air-conditioning in rooms
Julie at the front desk/office manager was so helpful and pleasant but so were the others I occasionally dealt with and the location was great!! I could walk to supermarket as well as the beach and with recommendation of staff enjoyed my city bus trip to Hananema Crater and some great snorkeling. And thanks for upgrade with a view of canal
The noise BUT I came prepared with earplugs and my eye covers to use at night and would recommend same to all (I later learned from Julie they do have earplugs!)
Good place to stay. Very good deal.
Large well furnished room with balcony ensuite, fridge, good bed, good shower and a/c. No room is far from lift. Hotel has parking and excellent coin laundry facilities. Location is on canal at end of block to street market shops and restaurants and 2 blocks from beach and designer shops and hotels while at the same time its location allows a quick getaway by car from Waikiki traffic hub.
Parking was $150 for 5 nights - wifi was expensive too and there was about $150 service charge which included wifi and other things I didnt use. There is no pool and outside the hotel is more back street than resort - more the Riviera than Ceasars Palace (Vegas) but everywhere is expensive in Waikiki so it was probably the best value to be had in this disappointing town.
I loved that they did our dishes and cleaned our stove I even left my whole purse with hundreds of dollars in it and nothing was touched! They just organized everything it was a great hotel to stay at and I will be referring people to that hotel!
The service is excellent Julie y Harland were always responsive to our queries, rooms clean and the whole building is personalized because they are only 6 floors making it private. Close to everything, that's great. Loved it.
All was well!
Excellent room and facilities with a great view and outside lanai.
If your looking for a pool and a spa and a awesome view this place is not for you .... But if you want a clean and comfortable room this is a great place to stay.... Two blocks from wakiki and all the shops, bars and restraunts...... had a great stay
I like all that I Had in the hotel:work of servers, their relationship to the clients and so on...
I did not like much of noise from the cars in the street!!!
The location is decent for the price. Basically only 1/2 mile to a mile away from anything you might want to get to in Waikiki.
The one bedroom I had was very antiquated. Basically looked like it hadn't been updated in well over 30 years. The layout is rather modular and unappealing and the glass horizontal window glass keeps NONE of the street noise out. Was very hard to sleep at night unless the AC was on to drown out the street. And the extra $30.00/night fee is just b.s. its a fee added on to make the base price seem $30.00 less per night. Really just silly
reasonable priced Hotel
no telephone connection between the reception and the guest room I stayed.
This hotel is simple, but very good. A comfortable, clean room with a small kitchen and dining area. The location is perfect. 10 minutes walk to Waikiki beach. The staff is very friendly. Great stay.
This hotel is a really good choice if u have a low budget and you want to get a good location next to the Waikiki beach.
Breakfast is not included to the price and WiFi doesn't work really well.
Staff were great. Friendly and helpful. WiFi was easy to join and fast.
The room was dated with old cupboards. Kitchen area did not have air conditioning. Noisey in the morning due to road traffic. No dishwashing liquid supplied for dishes.
Great location, there are two blocks from Waikiki Beach. Roomy rooms with kitchen to prepare any meal. Beautiful view of the ala wai canal. We had booked a room with two beds, and when we arrived there was only one bed. Promptly took steps to correct the erro
Some rooms have no curtains on the window, making it difficult to sleep because of high clarity.
Location location location
Had left a couple of costly stainless water bottles in fridge. When we contacted the office they had them and we were deturning in 10 days. When we returned they mucked us around then only had the smaller one. The other had suddenly disappeared.
Kitchen stove did not work properly. The facility needs to be updated.
Some staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about how to get tours or find activities
The room looked nothing like it did online so it was a bit of a shock, however it was still nice.
The location and reasonable facilities in room.
I was moved, pretending to be upgraded, which was obviously untrue, to an annexe, two blocks away. I am a woman travelling on my own and expect yo be in the same building as the reception for my own safety and well being..
The decorations were nice and the room was clean
Rooms were hot, out dated tvs, the price for parking, hidden fees like a safety deposit that gets sprung on you after you've alrdy paid 736 for the hotel room
