The staff were very, very good, friendly and cooperative. It was not far from the action at an affordable price.
It's on a busy thoroughfare, and the traffic noise was very steady. Honolulu also has more sirens than I've heard in other cities. The air-conditioner/fan covered most of it, but you need to like white noise.
The location of this hotel is really prefect to explore Waikiki, Honolulu and the rest of the island. There are lots of busses around and the beach is about 5 minutes away. The room/apartment was very spacious and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay!
I asked the reception booking a shuttle bus at 9am in the morning to airport. But when I showed up in the lobby, I realized that there is no bus! It took me more cost and more time to the airport which is very annoying. I never have had lousy service like this before.
Rented a large truck, they gave me the hotels loading area parking, thank god becuz parking on the street is next to impossible. Nice big updated shower and comfortable beds.
Needs new carpet, clean but seen a lot of use

Nothing was bad
Location, parking - just under the building ( not fo free(((), good Wi Fi
Lovely view. Great location.
You need to warn gests about that low water pipe that dented the top of my rental pickup truck. Also I lost my air card in your room. Some one used it, it was not returned. Also the Lanie was locked could not go out side and injoy the view.
- One of the cheapest in Waikiki - Clean - Well furnished
- No noise protection from very busy street next to the hotel - Very noisy A/C
Location was walking distance from Wakiki beach. If you want a place to sleep at night cook some meals and then go out surf, sight see on a low budget this is the place. Staff very friendly and kept the place very clean. If you want a glamorous hotel with valet parking this is not the place for you.
everything was fine - number sizes, an arrangement, a parking, kitchen, attentive service. special gratitude to the manager Julia.
Great location. Next to everything in Waikiki. They upgraded me to a suite because they never informed me about a 150 dollar refundable deposit beforehand, which i got back when i checked out. Room was spacious with a patio that had excellent views, and had pots, plates, silverware and cups. Everything I needed was there. Also the included wifi i got was great and fast. For the money i payed i got a great deal. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.
No complimentary breakfast and the checkin office is seperate from the hotel building.
Friendly, helpful staff. Well located to good shopping, bus route & super market.
My room was on Ala Wai Boulevard so I found it quite noisy at night. But I goot used to it by the 2nd night.
The number one plus is the staff who are extremely friendly and helpful. We liked the free daily local paper, the full kitchen and the closeness to the buses, stores and restaurants on Kuhio. We will probably stay here again.
Staying 2 blocks from the main hotel even if it was an upgrade. We preferred the main hotel where we stayed last year. It was a one bedroom, spare apartment with no phone. The air conditioning and lighting were not great there and there was no tub as we had asked for. But it was big compared to most rooms and we got used to it!
The location was great. Central Waikiki on Ala Wai Blvd. Short walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach and buses without having to navigate heaps of people and large hotel lobbies. 20 minute walk to Hawaii Convention Centre...lovely in the morning. Beds very comfy. Freshly painted, tidy, simple accommodation. Friendly staff. We had a late flight so hotel looked after our luggage during the day and let us, in the evening, use an unoccupied room to shower in before out shuttle pick up.
We were on level 2 and street level noise reached into the room making it difficult to sleep. We didn't have heavy drapes in our room either and again this made it challenging to sleep...24hr daylight. Other rooms had heavy drapes. I would recommend a room on a higher floor.
Very noisy location - big volume of fast moving traffic. Attitude when we asked to be moved to a quieter room; were going to charge us!!! I had to point out that it was a bigger inconvenience for us that for them. Cleaning staff barged in before we were ready for them once.
This is a small hotel, but a good location, and very easy to walk to business center, however, it is easy to go everywhere without to take bus.
Clean is good, but if I don't like cleaner go inside my room, they suppose do not go inside my room. But the housekeeping do not follow my willing, after I denied cleaner go inside my room, they still go inside my room when I went out, and I lost my beautiful umbrella. I do not like somebady touch my things.
Perfect location, staff was very helpful and kind, and the room has a balcony and lots of space to relax. Having a kitchenette is very nice so you can manage your own food and grocery stores are just around the corner! I would come back again!
The shower could have been cleaned a bit better or repaired as it seemed a tad old, but it worked well.
The people who work in the hotel was excelente, they gave us important and use full sugestiones.
The kitchen was too old, it needs a renovation 100% right now!!!!!, or it will have an accidente soon, and also the Windows do not close complétely so the noise from the street come to the room, they have to reeplace them.
Location was great and clean bed bathroom
Kitchen facilities very old
Poor air-conditioning in rooms
Julie at the front desk/office manager was so helpful and pleasant but so were the others I occasionally dealt with and the location was great!! I could walk to supermarket as well as the beach and with recommendation of staff enjoyed my city bus trip to Hananema Crater and some great snorkeling. And thanks for upgrade with a view of canal
The noise BUT I came prepared with earplugs and my eye covers to use at night and would recommend same to all (I later learned from Julie they do have earplugs!)
Good place to stay. Very good deal.
Large well furnished room with balcony ensuite, fridge, good bed, good shower and a/c. No room is far from lift. Hotel has parking and excellent coin laundry facilities. Location is on canal at end of block to street market shops and restaurants and 2 blocks from beach and designer shops and hotels while at the same time its location allows a quick getaway by car from Waikiki traffic hub.
Parking was $150 for 5 nights - wifi was expensive too and there was about $150 service charge which included wifi and other things I didnt use. There is no pool and outside the hotel is more back street than resort - more the Riviera than Ceasars Palace (Vegas) but everywhere is expensive in Waikiki so it was probably the best value to be had in this disappointing town.
