Staff were helpful Room was clean and tidy Was cheap. Location was good to
The place was very Noisy. Louvers for windows didn't help. Found I needed to wear ear plugs each night.
The maids always did a good job cleaning up and I liked how we were provided with dishes and a fridge. I liked how we were close to a lot of shops and had a decent view... of the canal.
First off, the parking is a joke. The spots are below the hotel and are ridiculously small. Plus, we had to pay for that parking! Secondly the lady at the desk when we checked in wasn't that friendly at all. When we got to our room there was a puddle of water on the floor in the bathroom by the sink. I also noticed the plug for the clock was halfway hanging out of the outlet--a fire hazard. Finally, neither of us was really able to get a good night's sleep because the hotel was right next to a busy street and ambulances and fire trucks went by all the time.
staff quite nice and helpful
fee for parking which is not neccessarily provided, actually you have to leave your ignition key at the reception desk and they move the cars, but it can happen, that you cannot park (altough you paid for it in advance) in their garage. i suggest that one should check the parking space first and then pay daily -yes, it's possible.
It wwas convenient for the price ie not on the water but 8 - 10 minutes walk. The staff were lovely. Room was clean and big enoufg.
Would have liked a kettle. Is the noisiest ( traffic) hotel I have stayed in but surprisingly we have never slept better in our lives.
Location and value. Friendly staff.
Room renovations were not fully completed. Need better windows for a hotel next to busy road.
Kitchenette was very useful. And we had a great view of the mountains. The room was also spacious and house keeping replaced our towels daily.
The bed was very hard and our sheets were never changed. We did a lot of activities and the sand got in the sheets. Would have been nice to have them changed. Overall I'd come back.
City lights, the staff was timely ; very great about making room up everyday, no noise very quite the inside room and clean towels everyday
Some of the amenities of a stay condo weren't there like dish soap/rag/dry towels and coffee daily along with sugar, tv(small 20") was so old school along with bedding
The location of the hotel is great. Only one block from the International area of Wakiki. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable. This hotel is great value for money.
The procedures used for the required room bond needs streamlining.
The hotel was the cheaper our of the two hotels we stayed at. The previous hotel was Maile Sky Court. We thought this hotel was even better!
Excellent, spacious and clean apartment, location by the Ala Waia canal, off from all the hassle of the hectic Kalakaua avenue.
Fees for wifi and parking could be lower. Traffic noise may disturb late sleepers.
proximity to shopping area staff provided useful info parking available for a reasonable fee quiet at night
torn front sofa; first impression was not good air condition; curtain was too long and we had to adapt it although it was fixed, bill reflected telephone calls not made by us...but it was fixed.
Location, 2min walk from waikiki beach and awesome udon restaurant around the block. Great view and super friendly staff, they help you with anything. Nice beds, good tv and good fridge.
Cooking equipement is a bare minimum, one small pot and a pan, no herbs, spices or olive oil... A lot of noise from the street, small bathroom and the details are not finished.
Full size kitchen, floor plan with separate rooms, bathroom with roomy shower, view
No drapes on canal side window caused early morning wake-ups, microwave didn't work (they did offer to come take a look), only 1 out of 3 staff members was friendly and helpful. Not one smile. :-(
Location Day Manager, she was more empathetic and understanding of or concerns.
Disgusting rooms not even in advertised hotel, we were put in an old apartment building down the street, which was supposed to be an upgrade! Couldn't use the Lanai even with shoes on, disgusting +++ Owner wouldn't come out of his office to discuss, left his day manager to deal wwith us, who was very nice but unable to do anything for us. We left and got another hotel which was more user friendly.
Parking is always available.
Extra fees that were added to the original deal are too high.
Location near downtown Waikiki and great beaches Very helpful and kind staff Rooms are clean and spacious Parking space available at hotel Grocery store and many attractions nearby
Terrible WIFI connection Price for parking (20$ per day) a bit expensive, but in accordance with other hotels cost
Good service, friendly staff, clean big room, quiet, walking distance to beach and shops.
Location was good, only 2 blocks from the beach but away from the main area so a bit quieter. The view was lovely looking over the canal, golf course and mountains. Clean comfy rooms and helpful staff
Nothing to complain about, it was all good
This place was in the perfect location. Not too far from the beach or idea places to visit. The hotel staff accommodated all of our needs from places to go and assisting us in tourist attraction. Will definitely be booking/staying here on my next visit to Hawaii.
There was no swimming pool
Staff were friendly. Definitely budget accommodation but on the whole it was ok. Although situated at the canal it was close walking distance to everything. 10 mins to beach which was ok. Room had been updated and was spotless.
Extremely noisy traffic all night, especially friday and sat night.Curtains needed to be block out as room was very light at night from streetlight. Didn't have a kettle, only a silly coffee brewer that was useless. When i asked if they had a kettle they said to use the coffee brewer. Couldnt make a cup of tea unless you heated your cup in microwave. Air con was reasonably good but noisy. I booked our shuttle through the staff at Front desk and I confirmed it twice and they didn't show up. 25 mins later we had to flag a taxi and paid double to what the booked shuttle was.
Location is very good, from Waikiki Beach and DFS is very close. But the room near the street, that is noisy at night.
The price and the staff were excellent
It was very loud as the Windows were not sealed but slatted so everything could be heard outside on a road which was extremely busy with traffic
handy location, daily room service, free initial beach tower providing, friendly staffs assistant, safe to walk around..
noise from truck's bin collection.
- great size for the price - dedicated parking spot
- the only thing I think needs to change is the excessively old and worn furniture. That said, I wasn't taking the furniture home so not a huge a deal for me.
