In the area are no good grocery stores

the room was decrepit...stove had broken door..no burners worked..no lamps in bedroom..where airconditioner was. broken furniture from decades ago..staff amiably indifferent to what were obvious short comings....our experience was one night in one room as although we had planned to hoped to return we decided otherwise.

The staff was terrible. The cleaning crew was the worst I have ever experienced.

I liked the prices they was perfect for a beach hotel...location was excellent. I also loved there was a kitchen for me to cook my own meals!!!

I didn't like that there was broken shades to the window and anyone and everyone could see in your room. Also the air conditioner was poor, room was always hot and muggy.

Location. We walked to stores & entertainment.

Dirty walls, dirty kitchen, no towels, paint peeling off walls, musty smell, moldy smell

Loved the poolside efficiency. Staff was wonderful. and we were a block from the beach. the kids had easy access to the breakfast. and their was an on site convienence store the front desk staff was very friendly and were helpfull in allowing us to keep luggage at hotel prior and post check in time.

just the classic tourist prices. and we were close to the main 1a. but it's hard to be far from it when the island is just two blocks wide here

We liked the location. Closeness to ocean, broadwalk. Thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday party!

Rooms are way over priced for what you get. Tv would not work properly and took 3 hrs for someone to look at it then they couldnt do anything. Offered me a bottle of wine, and we dont drink. Fig that out eh. Then next morning nothing, took key took money and no discount or anything for room issues ,never again , for that money stay at the marriott down the street

Location to beach

I liked the easy access to the beach and broadwalk. Check in staff was very courteous, checking us in and taking us personally to our room. Nice personal touch and service however need to staff with more than 1 person at the desk to do this. This is a like and a dislike...

Very noisy, other guests were up all night partying. Absolutely no sleep... Went to use computer/printer in office to print airline boarding passes. none of the computers worked. There was only one person working the desk and he was unavailable- got tired of waiting. Because there was only one check in staff and he was personally taking guests to their room, that meant that people waiting to check in or other needs were left waiting for an unacceptable length of time.

I booked from the 19 Jan to 21 Jan 2013. I called the manager (John) to change my booking from the 21 to 23 Jan 2013. I said it was impossible as he had already processed my booking. I then called a helpful lady at bookings.com who called the manager as well while I remained on the line, and he told her it was impossible to change the dates. When we arrived at the Hotel on the evening of the 19 Jan, the evening manager (Gardie) told me my booking had been changed to arrive on the 21 Jan. I had not been notified of the change. Gardie said we could stay in a larger room at an extra amount $118 paid by credit card or $80 cash. We were so desperate that I paid cash and never received a receipt....This seems very under handed as it was cash and no receipt was given to me. I think this should be investigated as it seems unusual business practice.

Dirty and expensive...

The hotel is located within walking distance to the Broadwalk. The staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your stay. This will be our go to hotel in Hollywood Florida, every year! Thanks to Mitch and the rest of the staff for a great place to stay.

Nice beach. Fun place to land and take a break

The parking was extra at the hotel. It was almost 15% more than the room this was a surprise. It is to bad people don't respect and look for repeat business. They also offered a breakfast of white bread and pkged sliced cheese. Better to just offer coffee rather then put that out for as breakfast spread. There were no lines ay breakfast that was good

Location is very good to the beaches

Room needs upgrading/repairs; breakfast needs upgrading vs other hotels;perhaps better not having than having breaakfast

There was nothing to like about this hotel other than its location. Tiny room with uncomfortable bed, not very clean, hot water intermittent, wireless never worked and nobody cared to fix it although we asked them every morning. Front desk called my cell phone at 11:30 pm asking why I am registered at 2 rooms there. I had no idea. Found out upon returning home they double charged me. Would not recommend.

Room was in need of repairs and attention.
