We switched to this hotel after reading some horrific reviews of our original choice. I am so glad we did. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They ordered us all the taxis we needed and gave us good advice on times/prices etc. A late 6pm check out was at a cost, but we were allowed an extension until 2pm for free! so worth asking if you have a late flight home. Bedrooms and public rooms were very clean. The location was excellent, a ten minute walk to the Main Hollywood sightseeing tour busses etc. Ideal for the Hollywood bowl (5 minute walk). The pool area was also clean and we had it to ourselves most afternoons! Great to relax by after sightseeing/shopping.

If I'm being picky, then only coffee machine in the bedrooms and no kettle available for tea drinkers, although there was microwave to heat water. Breakfast was a bit pricey considering we had to get our own drinks and make our own toast etc. We had to chase staff every morning for cups and cutlery, but these are minor niggles and I would still book this hotel if in LA again.

Nice (basic) free breakfast. Great staff who allowed me to check in a number of hours early which was much appreciated. Really good, central location for Hollywood.

I would personally prefer a continental breakfast rather than sweet muffins, croissants, and jams that they served - but it was a free breakfast so i truly cant be picky.

Staff were excellent! ALWAYS friendly and helpful and made myself and my daughter feel very welcome! Beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in during our travels!!!!! Proximity to Hollywood Blvd and Metro.

Only a couple of minor things ... would have liked a safe in the room, and maybe a little less road noise. These things would not impact our decision to stay again or recommend to others.

Friendly Staff and found it to be a nice place to rest after a busy day of tours.

Not a lot not to like. Was safe enough and reasonable value for money. Sometimes felt far from some stuff but was to be expected in a big city.

No complaints. Convenient to the Hollywood and Highland mall across from Graumans where we could park for $2 and get decent affordable meals -- ate there most nights.

$32/Day to park plus tips. Could have parked a short walk at Hollywood and Highland Mall for $13 daily maximum. Impossible to make a right turn out of the parking lot due to traffic and no "back exit" option to exit with a light.

Beds and pillows were super comfy, nice bathroom, microwave and coffee maker in room, pantry on site to buy goodies, nice heated pool and spa, excellent location and very clean. Team members very friendly and good restaurant.

Staff were superb! Very helpful & professional. Only minutes walk from Hollywood boulevard & shopping, plus Starbucks cafe across d street!

Only that my son's brand new oralB toothbrush went missing after housekeeping had been. When I reported it they gave us a travel toothbrush & packets of toothpaste and the matter was dropped.

Great service and friendly staff. Valet always had my vehicle ready when went out. Like that their was a pool and hot tub.

I didnt like that valet was $30 a dag but aleast I knew my vehicle was safe. In front of a very busy street.

I thought it was clean and modern. The problem was that the search engine I used lead me to believe that the hotel was close to the Staples Center! That was a huge disappointment to have to drive a half hour and back track in rush hour traffic!! (Lakers game) The Hotel was on a really busy street and they charged and additional $30.00 for each car! The $60.00 additional fee was NOT DISCLOSED!!!! I wish we would have stayed at the Marriott!

I did not like the fact that they charged us an additional $60.00 to park our cars! That was not disclosed at the booking! Never again will I use the web sight. The location was miss leading. The hotel was on a really busy road along with a string of many hotels! It was difficult to get in and out.

The location was great, close to Sunset Boulevard, shopping and Runyon Canyon. The staff were exceptionally helpful and professional and pleasant. The service we received was over and above from the front desk to the restaurant staff and the concierge - we liked our first stay so much we cancelled our booking at another hotel and rebooked a second stay at the Hilton!

The staffs are very nice and the place is convenience to Hollywood Walk of Fame!

The parking charges are very expensive, in fact, there are cheaper public parkings around 50 meters!

Very big,clean and comfortable room. The hotel is located five minutes from hollywood boulevard and also close to a subway station from which you can take the subway to universal studios (a ride of only one stop)

No breakfast unless you pay additional fee. The pool is actualy in the parking lot

Clean, color scheme, good service, and close to Hollywood bowl.

Door to bathroom would not stay open. Had to wedge hand towels as a door stop. Also heard everytime the door adjacent to us opened and closed as if it was in our room.

The wakeup call never came. Luckily I was jetlagged and awake anyway. Additionally I had a knock at my door at 4 am for someone who appeared to be an employee of the hotel mentioning a "room change." I said I had requested no such thing and could they please go away. I mentioned both things to the front desk and while I did not ask to be made whole, I might have thought it would be offered. I would stay there again but there'd be a short leash...

Everything rated above!! staff were so helpful with suggesting things we could do during our stay, room was so spacious and comfortable, location is like 5 minute walk to hollywood shoppin strip/walk of fame! really affordable too! A Big thanks to Tony and the rest of the staff for making our stay an enjoyable one!

Lack of menu choices at breakfast in the hotel restaraunt.

Clean rooms and good service.

For its prize it does not go with a standard breakfast.

We like the Area because its very close to the Universal Studio.

The Parking Fee! Is too expensive, its ok if it is covered parking or under the roof parking, but its an open parking, that the birds can poops your car.

Great place for a family to stay. Free use if the business center.
