Noisy at night, can not sleep well
Close to sunset strip
breakfast was great- staff is very helpful and kind and the food variety is wide and fresh.
Very comfortable and clean hotel with everything we needed.
Parking was expensive but we found cheaper parking next door.
Nice Clean, staff friendly.
just too expensive for the price, the room are small.
Paying $32.00 of parking a day on top of the room.
Excellent location. Nice quite rooms. Enjoyed our stay. Value for money.
Great location, courteous staff.
Very expensive for an older average hotel. The rooms were not very clean.
Large room, comfortable, food in restaurant ok and staff friendly. A short walk to the the Walk of Fame. Very convenient for a family visit to Hollywood
Noisy road, but it's a big city. Pool wasn't particularly inviting. Breakfast was poorly stocked: ran out of coffee, cups, etc. but staff tried their best.
Bar staff especially Brian excellent
Cheerful staff, cheerful decor - lots of lime green and Whoopi in the lobby , wonderful breakfast, afternoon iced water with fruit in the lobby, fun to hear the Australian tourists making fun of "american accents?" (now I feel not so blah/generic).
Chintzy on basic bathroom products (had to ask for toilet paper/kleenex). Sometimes people get sick while on vacation and need more than the usual amount of these items, embarassing to have to ask for more and feel like you should tip for that at a place that is already expensive
Clean and nice hotel that served our purposes. Our two boys 11 and 13 shared one queen bed. Good to have fridge in room. Close to Hollywood Blvd. Could se Hollywood sign a bit further down our street. Also close to Metro, which we used to go to Universal Studios (only 1 stop away). Nice staff, especially the boys at the valet parking. Didn't use the restaurant.
Great location Helpful staff, friendly environment
Bad smell on 3rd floor by our room
Perfect location to walk to the Hollywood Bowl for a concert and to stroll down the Sidewalk of the Stars. Nice clean, functional rooms. Helpful, pleasant staff at front desk.
Valet parking was efficient, but expensive.
very friendly staff, great location
loud elevators, you can even hearthem in you room, all the time
Was very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, just a block away. Several small convenience stores nearby to grab snacks and items as needed. Very professional folks and lobby area. We had 2 issues with out room, and staff quickly had them fixed.
Leaving the valet parking area, very difficult to get onto the road to get to highway to Universal Studios. Loud banging noises every morning on the backside near the valet parking area. Bathroom door was hinged to always close, there was no way to keep it open without propping it with our luggage.
Great location if you want to be right near hollywood Bl and all the action. Very friendly and helpful staff
Continental breakfast was ok, but needs more adult varieties of cereal rather than small boxes of fruit loops and other sugary things.
Thre room was toward the street and the noise from the traffic was bad
Small room Very firm mattresses
Location, location, location :)
Front desk staff smile in front of the guests but gossip and talk at the back. They feel troubled when a guest asks them whether the business centre at the hotel is functional or not. They also feel troubled when a guest ask their assistance for local travel information.
Staff were friendly, helpful & up for a laugh. The bed was divine. Loved having the option of shower or bath. Loved the Hollywood sign near the pool. Great location.
Near to universal studio and some attraction in LA
Threre is noise during the day, it comes from hotel's employees. Also, parking is so expensive .
They were very friendly and it is a perfect location !
Had to leave
Great location, close to all the major sites in Hollywood. Amenities good as well, especially liked having a mini-frig and microwave in the unit. Bed very comfy and room in general was quiet.
Daily rate seems high, considering the level of amenities/service/hotel caliber. Also, elevators were on the slow side. Considering the lack of "affordable" lodging in the Hollywood area, though, this place towers over the competition on the same block (Holiday Inn, Best Western).
