Excellent location.. close to Dolby theatre.. Madame Tussad.. Ripley's and all other attractions in Hollywood
Taking keys from their office in the other building is very inconvenient for a tourist. No reception.
Nice location, cool pool, and friendly staff.
TV had no cable and after a few minutes screen would go blank. No HDMI cable for the DVD player. Very limited cookware and silverware.
Location was excellent, pool and spa great, security friendly and helpful. Secure building. Apartment was nice and they left plenty of toilet paper, dish liquid, shampoo, ETC.
TV didn't work we called they said they would said they would send someone, it never happened, the wifi was in and out all the time, NOISE!!! every night, don't count on getting any sleep, no grocery stores near by, so even though you have the facilities to cook, good luck finding any food. Need two keys, we only had one and if you needed ( which we did ) to go out for something it was difficult.

Didn't like getting the key and getting into the apartment , that would be the only criticism, maybe the couch was a bit bare too, the springs were uncomfortable
I unfortunately did not have a good experience at this place, and would not book here again.
There were many things I disliked about my experience with Hollywood and Highland Apartments. 1) Scavenger hunt check-in: I took time out of my day to check-in on time. They send you an e-mail with detailed instructions to find your key on the street. Keep in mind this is not a hotel, so there isn't anyone on site to help you with any issues (I was fine with this, until things went south). The instructions you get are very condescending, and they state that if you don't follow those instructions to the T then they are not responsible for you not being able to check in. Therefore I arrived at 3:30 pm to retrieve my key from the safe, just to come to find out the safe was not working. I then called the number provided and the lady that answered sent me on another scavenger hunt to find the key hanging from a black gate, to the right of the directory map (sounds ridiculous, right?). I eventually obtained a key and after 45 minutes of searching I decided to continue with my errands. 2) Given the wrong key: Once I showed up to the room at 3:00 am, the key did not open the room! At that point I called the number provided once again, and the person that answered asked me to try the key again (as if I had not just spent 5 minutes trying to open the door). At this point I asked for a refund because I already saw this turning into a huge hassle, and all I wanted to do was go to sleep. 3) Poor costumer service: I was told by the staff I could not get a refund, I could cancel my reservation (give them free money), but not get my money back. I found this ridiculous because as their costumer you are told from the start they are not responsible for your check-in if you do not follow their instructions, however when they don't follow through with their service they are still not responsible! The lady on the phone told me the property manager would be on his way, and it would take him 15-20 minutes to get there.
The box key was not working and they couldn't get a person to go get the key out. We had to spend a lot more money for a new hotel when we could have booked it in advance and saved money. They didn't even offer another room nor helped with the extra fees for the new hotel
The space of the apartment is excellent, all clean, and the localization is awsome.
This is not a hotel, this is just a person who locate his apartment. there's no staff, no office, no front desk, there's nothing there. They just sand an e-mail and put the key in a mail box. it was terrible.
Location of the apart is wonderful.
There are insects in the flat. Some were dead and some were alive. I warned the staff two times for killing the insects or changing the room. Kitchen has many dead insects even in a place which forks, knifes and spoons found and inside of the cupboards are dusty. There were no reception desk so they informed us about the code and how to get the keys. We tried many times it didnot open. We called them. They came and brought the keys after two hours. And instead of knowing that the code is wrong, they didnot inform us before coming.
