I loved the location. I was there with my daughter and two friends. They were flying out of Miami, to Ecudor,the drive to Mia was so easy from the hostel. I came back after driving them in and stayed another night in one of the regular rooms.Loved the beach and we will go back,maybe when the girls come back from there journey. I am 65 and I can say I have stayed in a Hostel. We were given one of the family rooms because there were 4 of us together. Thanks for 2 great stays. Bev

The regular Hostel rooms where very small, beds where hard ro clime in

Excellent location close to the beach. Great ingenuity in using up the space and resources. Casual and relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly and supportive, offering free bikes and beach umbrellas, towels etc. to guests for free. They even watched our luggage after we checked out for the day, since our flight was late in the evening.

The linen and especially blankets could be a little newer...

Don't try to check-in before 3:00. There is a $100 hold on room while you are there even thought you paid for room prior. Room was on the corner next to parrking lot and there was a big Spot Light that shined in the bedroom..could not sleep well.

Very friendly staff. Taco shack was great! bike rentals was also really nice touch as was the wifi availability and access to a printer. nice clean bathroom in girls dorm and great communal kitchen facilities.

Close to the beach

The worst hotel ever! Room cards did not opened the door at nighttime and there was nobody at the reception. They only had phone numbers to call in case of emergency but nobody answered the call! If there wasn't kind people who knew from their own experience that there are so called "master cards" in the postbox, which opened all doors, we would have spent our night outdoors. Next morning when we asked about this problem from reception, the manager just screamed and promised to call a police to us if we won't leave immediately. So it has been the worst experience we've ever had! I don't recommend this place to nobody! Don't go there, for your own sake!

Fantastic location. Free bikes, free beach chairs included. On-site parking $10 per stay. Relaxed young vibe. Inviting outdoor seating/eating areas. Buildings are one-storey high. Excellent value. We paid $51 (mid November, weekday) for a queen efficiency and were upgraded to a suite upon arrival, due to the unavailability of the queen efficiency. Pets allowed at a nominal fee.

This hotel did not have available the type of room described on the booking.com website through which we booked (family room with Queen and 2 sets of bunk beds). The two rooms were cramped, possibly because we were placed in the older, apparently original building (there are 5 or 6 newer buildings where the rooms may be nicer). We left after two nights and found MUCH better accomodations at a significantly lower rate.

La relación calidad precio. La habitación era grande y muy acogedora. Te dejan gratis material de playa como palas, tablas de surf, sombrillas y bicicletas. Llegamos muy tarde por la noche y tuvimos ningún problema, nos dejaron las llaves en un buzón con el numero de habitación.

Me hubiera gustado que tuviera piscina pero la playa está al lado por lo que tampoco es un problema.

Hotel bem localizado e limpo, roupas de cama limpas, mas com toalhas desgastadas.

Muita falta de hospitalidade e bons tratos aos hóspedes. Recepcionista rispida e nada cortês. Falta de organização das arrumadeiras ao limpar o quarto, tive problemas 2 (dois) dias por falta de arrumação e limpesa. Faltam sempre cadeiras e guarda-sol de praia, as disponíveis são sujas e enferrujadas.Toalhas de banho muito rotas e desgastadas.

The room was very clean, freshly painted, bright & nice.

I know we were at beach, but not one single comfortable chair. Very few towels, couldn't seem to get clean towels (wash cloths, hand towels, bath towels). Extremely low toilet, very difficult for elderly people. Could not guarantee parking place, not enough parking for all guests.

I liked it , the staff was friendly and polite . The room was super cute.

The room was dirty . The bed sets were old and nasty. The room looked like someone left and just fixed the bed . It did not look like someone came in to clean up. The floor was nasty .

La chambre était spacieuse, propre et tres pres de la mer

J'avais reservé une chambre avec un lit king et 2 paires de lit superposé, a mon arrivée dans la chambre je n'avais pas 2 paires de lits superposé mais bien une paire de lit superposé et un sofa ou pouvait couché un enfant. Alors la capacité de la chambre etait de 5 personnes et non de 6 personnes comme c'était ecris dans la description de la chambre

A little anxiety over parking, but there was always a space.

Let's talk about the new rooms. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable, clean and bright. Front desk people very helpful as well as cleaning people.

Parking space is not convenient for guess. Even though a charge of $10.00 a night is reasonable but securing parking is not given.

The staff was really nice and helpful! It's right at the beach and the hotel/hostel looks very nice on the outside.

There was a strange and really rude OLD lady in my first dorm... After I changed to another one there were some older men in that one - quite weird for a hostel. Also the AC didn't work well - it was either much to hot or way to cold.. couldn't sleep at all. The bathroom has no AC at all and is just tiny, with 12 people taking their showers after one another it gets unbearably hot and gross in there. Also the WiFi didn't work in the dorms and there were no smaller lights at the beds so you couldn't read or anything else.

Location to my workshop and the beach

I planned to stay for 2 weeks as I was attending a business related training and did not know the area. When I first walked into the room, the girls that were already there had their belongings in every possible place in the room. When I returned to the room, they had kindly cleaned up and were quiet when coming into the room in the middle of the night. So I decided not to make a big deal out of it or anything, since they were respectful after I showed up. I was not overly excited with sleeping on a top bunk bed where the ladder could barely support my weight and slipped every time I was on it. It made going up and down the ladder both loud and dangerous.It looked like the ladder was for a 7 year old child, not adults. Once the 2 girls moved out, I switched to a lower bunk. I thought all was fine.. However. The psychiatric patient that was in my room, was really not something that could be overlooked. There was nothing else available. I literally had to quickly pack, leave my room and roam around in the rain and dark for about 2 1/2 hours until I found a new hotel. I was really concerned for my safety.The manager (Pam?) never ended up speaking to me, but told her assistant that they would charge me for a week only. Like that was some sort of deal. They should have only charged me for 4 days instead of 7 considering the circumstances and that I only stayed that long. I will not ever stay in any of their properties again. Thats not how you treat a serious situation like that.It was unprofessional, showed a lack of compassion and was greedy. This was really serious. I was roaming around like a homeless person with my luggage in the dark and pouring rain. When I called the office to report the situation, the person answering the phone laughed. I really didn't see the humor then and I don't now
