Loved the friendly family atmosphere, and the staff at the front desk were always so ready to help and friendly. Very nice location, a short walk to the main hollywood strip, and close to subway station. Also had parking on premises. |

very close to Broadway & Chinese theater (15min walk), good breakfast, free wifi, free parking, close to downtown, voodoo feeling very loud at nights, smell of rooms (incense) |

Realitively close to the sights of Hollywood. Free parking. Staff helpful. Breakfast in the Transylvania cafe next door a unique experience! Basic but ideal for a one nighter to explore Hollywood and very good value |

It was really close to the metro for Universal Studios and was only a walk away from the walk of fame Not the nicest area. |

The way that the staff treated the guest. I was unable to get the booked room due to miscommunacation between booking.com and the Downtowner so they found me another place to stay. The room exceeded expectations; we had a kitchen and living area. Breakfast was excellent, definately the highlight of the stay. The wifi was also appreciated. |

We had a great time it is a very quiet hotel with a very helpful staff, the pool having salt in it was interesting and relaxing. The breakfast the 2 days we stayed was fabulous |

The included breakfast was excellent! Buffet included cold cerial, fruit, toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns. A couple of maintainence items we brought to their attention which were not addressed during our 4-day stay. Room 5: Bathroom door wouldn't fully close due to binding on top, one of two burned out bathroom lights. |

Greatly Hospitable & helpful Owners , Homely Feel . Safe & great central location. 10 minute walk to chinese theatre , 2 minute walk to Metro & bus station so convenience for public transport. Owner Bharat was always available to help . Room was cleaned Daily. |

The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool and beautiful flowers in the balconies made the place very cosy. The rooms were equipped with microwave, coffee maker and fridge. The room also had ironing facilites and hairdryer so we did'nt have to bring those with us. The rooms were in need of renovation and the carpets were in poor condition. The first room we had was also quite dirty and noisy but we got a better room from upstairs just by asking. Breakfast was donuts, serials, bananas, apples and coffee but better than nothing. |

A very basic motel located 30 min walk to the Chinese theater. So within walking distance of the start of walk of the stars yet in a calmer part of Hollywood Blvd. Higky recomend it to those who don't need the most upper class place to sleep. |

The owners ran this hotel, they were very pleasant, helpful most of all professional about there hotel. The room was a bit dusty (furniture as well as the floor), i was in the room for 3 days so the hardwood floors should have been swept a least once during my stay |
