The breakfast was good-they make eggs to order and waffles.

Right after we entered the room, we called the front desk and asked that housekeeping come and vacuum the room because the floor was littered. The person at the front desk said "yes" but when we returned late that night it had not been done.

The staff was very friendly and most helpful. The location of the hotel is OK if you don't mind walking to the Hollywood boulevard. Decent breakfast, however a bit more variety of choices wouldn't be a bad idea.

The lack of free parking and the fact that the building is old and most probably has asbestos in the walls and ceilings as there was a warning in the restaurant that staying in the building could be hazardous and carcinogen.

Dust balls in room, hair in bathroom upon check in. Staff not accommodating. "Secure" parking a joke.

Everything! The hotel was a very nice surprise in that when you travel to a big city for the first time, you almost expect the worst. We really enjoyed our room, the view, the nice complimentory breakfast every day and the safe parking.

Breakfast was nice if we were all allowed to eat. They freaked when there were more then two of us yet they had no problem charging us extra for people to stay in our room

Misleading photos online, rude front desk, devon was awful. needs some esucation in customer service & etiquette. As a business owner I would be appalled if my employee acted the way he does. Couldn't get in the hotel late night after a wedding, in cocktail dresses.... Ours cards weren't working, we could see Devon but he hid. This hotel needs to get it together or all of their guests will come one time and never return!

The location was fine and was close to where I needed to go.

I will start by saying I was very unhappy with the fact this was the first time I stayed here and their Lounge was closed! I asked one if the hotel staff and he told me the bar manager said it would be closed. It's a Saturday night, how ridiculous! The. The following day when I went to take a shower, no hot water. The highlight was the iron that was attached to the ironing board so I couldn't steal it.

The hotel was nice, clean, comfortable We went to visit our daughter who lives only 3 blocks away. Vermont St. has a wide variety of good restaurants and some vintage store shopping.

I served myself a plate of the free breakfast to take up to my room, but was stopped before I reached the elevator. I learned it was against the rules. We had breakfast elsewhere that a.m. The Hollywood Hotel is not anywhere near Universal Studios.

It was very clean, had everything that we needed, breakfast was aweseom, the comedy show was brilliant, nce and quiet.

The elevators were very slow, the bed was on a tin base which made a strange noise whenever you moved. Paying $22 to park my car

We booked for two nights, when arriving @ this hotel the room was very smelly and we decided to look for another hotel. I asked if we could make a deal, paying 1 night and cancel the second night. Very unfriendly staff told us that they could not do anything, even not cancel the second night.. We booked online a few hours before arriving so it should be no problem at all. The next day we called the manager, he did not pick up his phone, left him a massage, he didn't even bother to call back

loved the open air courtyard and the fountain, the stings of white lights that are lit up at night.

Spacious, friendly, good location. Nice breakfast. Good quality budget accommodation. Would stay here again.

There was nothing we liked about this hotel!!

The bed was broken, uncomfortable and made loud noise every time you moved! The shower was super tiny and the water was lukewarm! The toilet bowl was broken...it was separated from the floor and dirty water was running on the floor! The TV had a very limited number of local channels and it was super fuzzy. You could hardly see anything. The WiFi SSID and password were already pre-printed on the room key envelope. They were both wrong and took a while to get the right password from them. The front desk people were extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. Their response to our concerns was, "ok, we'll take a note of that". This place is located in a ghetto and the hotel staff's lack of professionalism and the quality of the hotel reflects what a low-end OVER PRICED this place is. We rather stay at motel.

Frindly staff, confortable beds, large rooms and free breakfast. Staff was friendly nice.

Air condioning not cool enough. Inflexable with check out time.

Staff told me to walk to the front to get something instead of having housekeeping take it up to me. Room was smaller than expected.

The water fountain in the back entrance was nice. Room was small but clean and nice. Furniture seemed to be new and updated.

The gentleman at the front desk wasnt that nice, (not sure of the guys name) . And two, I wish there was a 24 menu because I was hungry at 1am haha. Maybe offer pamplets with 24hr local delivery?

Close to the Greek theater, easy check in, nice accommodation , friendly staff, a great experience for the money! I would stay again, and I am Very picky!
