Staff was very nice and friendly. Location good for us
Our room had a strange smell to it. Other than that it was ok.
No staff available for you between 10 pm and 8 am room did not get cleaned stayed 4 nights no housekeeping service provided. Also payment by cash in order to get deposit back could not check out early had to wait until the staff showed up
Cordial,friendly staff and management.
Prefer disposable dishes in kitchen area.
Staff was very friendly And address a problem quickly..
No hot water
There were 2 long hairs in the bed when we checked in spots all over the head board cereal in the kitchen in one of the drawers the hotel could be nice with better house keeping
clean and economical,
We chose this hotel because of the location, and the proximity to both Concord and Kannapolis. The hotel was very nice, both my boyfriend and myself enjoyed ourselves. The room we were in looked just like the one in the picture and it was a great size. The hallways smelled like fresh laundry, which is a plus to me because I thought it would smell "cheap" because of what we paid. Overall, our stay was nice and the experience was good.
We found a hair in the shower (a long, single blonde strand which was not mine since I have black hair) and there was a razor top left in the bathroom.
Love this place. Good location, quiet, laundry, Tuesday night social hours, etc.
Quiet place, full kitchen, clean.
Tv remote didnt work, no biggie...
Kitchen, bathroom, love seat I liked the best
TV didn't have remote
excellent staff no problems
Well about an hour before i arrived to check in i got a call from the manager shari telling me they iver booked and had to put me in another hotel across town. Now my friends and i made these reservations over a month in advance. When u got to the hotel they said they had a room for me but u could not check in till later in the afternoon. I was in town for a show that started at 11 am. Due this poorly managed hotel i missed half of the show including3 of the bands i wanted to see. I didnot get to the show till 4pm cause i had to wait to check in. My show tickets cost me 250 dollars plus travel and lodging expences. Wich was a complete waste of time and money as i didnt even get to see the shows i was going for. I wouls like to personaly thank the manager of home towne suites for more or less ruining my and my friends vacation.
great value for the money. room was comfortable and had all the comforts of home
The location was adequate for the business trip, however that is where my fondness of the hotel ended.
The staff that my wife and I dealt with seemed to not care about our requests. We stayed 4 nights and only because I had paid in advance and the transaction was non refundable at that point. My wife and I both have the unfortunate habit of smoking. For this reason we try to book a smoking room if it is available. All we wanted was an ashtray. Seemed to be a simple request. I asked the same young man at the front desk for an ashtray everyday when I walked past the desk. I always received the same answer, "I will bring one up right away." I never did see an ashtray and as the days went on he seemed to be more frustrated every time I asked. Now if he had said that they were out of them or they did not have any to begin with, I would not have been so upset. It is a simple item that I wanted but did not need and can live just fine without. What bothered me is the fact that he told me he would do something and he did not and seemed to be upset with me that I would even ask such a thing more than once. That is trivial and I would hope his actions do not represent the entire hotel staff. When we first arrived to our room, it was very dirty. The sheets and towels had stains and even the sink was full of dirty dishes from the previous guests. The TV remote was duct taped together and barely worked. I would have asked for another one if it had not been for the ashtray incident. If he couldn't find time to grab an ashtray in four days I wouldn't imagine he could find a remote. The hot water heater did not work properly so my wife and I had the pleasure of taking cold showers for the week. This is mainly an extended stay hotel with most guests living there near permanently. It is a very loud environment and not one that I or my wife felt safe to walk around at night. I guess I have learned my lesson, you truly do get what you pay for. Take it from somebody who was unfortunate enough to stay, spend the extra few dollars and stay somewhere else.
Hours. Very dirty hallways. Not a clean place to stay.
Value for money.
The water pressure in bathroom and shower was awfully low. It was impossible for my husband to clean out his razor while shaving to attend Thanksgiving dinner.
Excellent place to stay on a budget. Has a kitchen so you don't have to eat out constantly. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent price for the rooms
Fold out sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Springs were felt poking all night while trying to sleep
