Perfect peaceful location and beautiful grounds. We used the outdoor deck & grill and that was perfect for easy meals for the family.

The Eagle's Nest was very clean and everything was in good shape. If you don't care about having a view, it might suit you.

We were disappointed in the lack of view from the Eagle's Nest (due to obstructing trees on the property as well as the small windows facing the water). "Breakfast" was two muffins sitting on the table when we arrived (we apparently were supposed to save them for the next morning), a quart of milk in the refrigerator, and dry cereal in the cupboard. We spent a week driving around the Kenai Peninsula and this was the most expensive room we stayed in - we were expecting more.

Laurie, our host was a tremendous help. If we had any questions about where to eat, what to see she was always there with suggestions. The cabin (Eagle's Nest) was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed it very much.
