Cleanliness of the room
The room didn't seem to stay cool even with the temperature turned down low. The heater in the hall wall wouldn't turn off & maintenance wasn't available to assist & front desk clerk wasn't helpful.
Friendly staff, convenient location, quiet and comfortable.
Construction/painting in progress but no advance notice of work given so I could avoid this work since my wife gets sick when exposed to such work. Wi-Fi not available, even though staff said it was.
The location, room, beds, and Breakfast were all good.
Ilooked at about 67 hotels to find one in my price range, close proximity to my son's wrestling math, and with an indoor pool. I called HomeStay Suites to verify that the pool was operational and useable and was assured that it was, then upon arrival with swimming befor the tournament as our objective was told that the heater was not working in the pool so it was about 30 some degrees and that they were not sure when it would be fixed. I could have stayed at a Motel if we did not want to swim so the differance that I paid to have access to a pool before and after the tournament was the very reason I choose HomeStay and am very disappointed at the results that I encountered. I honestly feel that I should get a potion of my charge returned to me, due to the misinformation that I received from the desk attendant. Thank you, Sabrena
Bed was comfortable.
Staff wasnt very friendly
Linens were very crisp and clean.
Ice machine was out in the open in the hall.
staff was friendly, we lost a pair of men suit pants, the front desk checked called me back although they did not find them.
TV stopped working Sunday morning. Mirror in bathroom was hung wrong, it looked like it would fall off the wall, called front desk immediately they asked if wanted to change our room. We did not as long if it fell off the wall, it was known we had nothing to do with it.
The cleaning staff was very welcoming and friendly and did a good job in the room.we left them a nice tip.
We paid 65 dollars and it was suppose to be a great rate but was behind a couple that paid 50 dollars for the same room next to us. This happened last time we were there as well as the utilities were all down. We called ahead last time and they said they were all working fine. Having a 10 am check out is unherd of. We go back and forth from New York to N.C. to Fla. We usually stay in Graham and have stayed here before and it was a disaster but we decided to give it one more chance. The maids are extremely nice and welcoming. The front desk staff is horrible and rude and was the last time we were there. In fact it was the same lady as before(older). We asked on the phone for a first floor room due to I have a cain and have trouble walking she gave us a third floor room. The breakfast was not stocked and hardly any choices, hot food was cold and refill...refill...refill... (just like last time) as well as they closed it a half hour earlier then was posted in the room. Even tho my son lives in Graham I would go 20 to 30 minutes out of our way to avoid this place. The front desk acts like you are an inconvenience to them and they would rather not bother with you. The last time we were there we complained to the same front desk lady (older women) and she said "nothing I can do about it".Should have not gave them more business. If it wasn't for the front desks attitude and a better breakfast that is full and hot and closed when they advertise. I would have probably gave them another shot but 3x bad...shame on me...
Not a bad price
In the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was not very good. Toilet was broken in my first room. More of a place for workers on the road looking for a place to sleep and move on.
I enjoyed having WiFi in my room. I also enjoyed having a workout room. Everything was very clean in our room.
I did not find anything i didnt like.
coffee in lobby was old, no regular creamers on flavored
Breakfast needs a wee bit more
Construction going on Carpet smelled in the hallway
Only stayed one night but very nice hotel. Quiet and king size bed was wonderful! Would recommend.
Leaving the hotel
They charged me a higher rate than what was booked. We had car problems and called to let them know in advance, when we got to the hotel, they only had us booked for one room (double). I had my confirmation sheet, but was told they only had one room. She was able to give me another room but said they didnt have 2 rooms on the same floor and they only had 3 doubles left. I took one of those. When I went back to the counter another couple was checking in (who did not have a room) they were given a room on the same floor as my original room (which was a king) when I asked the lady why she told me she didnt have anymore rooms on the 1st floor she stated that someone just called to cancel (within 10 minutes). Long story short, I was charged for 2 double rooms and had 1 king (which was cheaper) and 1 double room. I left the hotel paying for one double and a hold being put on my account for 2 rooms, not one. They advertised a pool and fitness center which were not open and they had a lot of construction going on. The king room we had, had unappealing marks on two different places on the wall. It was not a good experience for us because our children were on a different floor so we had to continuously check on them. I had requested the rooms to be together.
Great location. Room was comfortable.
Renovations - pool was not accessible (children were very disappointed). A/C didn't work.
The renovated room that we stayed in was very nice.
I did not like that the lobby was in the middle of its renovation. There were notices taped on every outside door telling you not to enter there. I didn't know where to go to check in. It was very confusing. Only half of the lobby floor was tiled. There was plastic covering the lobby desk. My kids could not swim the pool due to renovation there. If I had known the progress of the renovations, I would not have stayed there. I would have selected a hotel that was not undergoing renovations and where my kids could swim.
Comfortable bed... Mostly clean...
Under refurbishing, so common areas were not very clean... Had to go through construction to find stairs... A lot of noise until 1am... Terrible coffee, no juice, poor choices at breakfast Lamp beside bed did not work...
