The great: The location, the size of our room, the view from our room, the comfy bed, and the price.
One elevator was out of order and the other one was very slow, the door to our room was very squeaky, and we feared we were disturbing the other guests every time we opened and closed it.
The quality of the hotel is good but not excellent.
I shared the room with colleagues and the staff did not provide us the independent received of the payment that we usually need to be refund in our job trips. No flexibility and no kindness from the staff. We had to pay for our job trip without being refund...
Weekend staff (Saturday/Sunday) during the day were excellent.
breakfast was boring and uninspired, very plastic
Not like any other hotel. Food was great. Bed was great. Easy walk to shopping. Kitchen facilities were very handy. Loved the floor plan--two rooms with a TV in each room. The best hotel ever if you travel with kids.
Nothing---OK, how about waffles for breakfast?
delighted to find that they serve a nice dinner Monday through Thursday in addition to a nice breakfast daily.
Location, easy acess to and from freeway.
The gym wasnt complete with some broken items. No kettle to boil water for tea. There was a drying cloth for dishes but no dishcloths to wash with.
Staff was very helpful. Parking was great
Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Great breakfast selection. Good location!
The hotel and rooms (we stayed twice - before & after a Vancouver stay) are wonderful. Very clean, nice & upscale. Our first stay for 2 nights was a king room suite with separate living room and full kitchen and also patio/balcony. The last night we stayed was a queen with sofa bed and full kitchen. Both rooms were great and a good layout. The kitchen is awesome to have and there's a grocery store on the corner near the hotel if you want to pick anything up (but they do provide free breakfast, also one microwave popcorn each day in your room). The kids loved the game room next to the pool (free arcade games & billiards). Free breakfast was great to have (varies each day for warm meals but always has cereal, fruit, toast/bagel area, hard boiled eggs, juices, oatmeal). We were also able to grab the free dinner on our first night (M-Th nights only - kind of a hit or miss buffet that varies but had excellent fresh baked cookies). The location is good. Simple walk downhill past the convention center to grab the monorail or Westlake light link light (you might want to grab a cab coming back or if you're pulling suitcases due to the hill). Generally safe but at night you do need to be on alert for downtown city situations (occasional transients). The hotel is very safe - key access needed in elevators. Each time we returned to the hotel it was a relief to come inside to such a nice place. Overall wonderful experience and we made a good choice.
Little bit of a scare on our late night return for our last night of stay when they were worried about not locating our reservation, but it was resolved quickly.
Proximity to restaurants, shopping, Pike Street Market. Nice hotel Close to cruise ports Friendly staff-helpful too.
The pillow too soft. Hardly sleep well....
Buffet breakfast, manager's dinner and location
Location, great service, complimentary meals that were offered . Central to all our requirements.
The location was very comvenient. We also enjoyed the breakfast and meal in the evening. Lots of room in all areas.
The noise from the interstate the first stay before the cruise was a problem. The next week we stayed 2 nights in the garden area which was nice and quiet.
great dinner on Thursday afternoon
The facility was comfy and classy but the best was staff person Summer Starbuck whose knowledge, courtesy and assistance went above and beyond the call of duty! I would highly recommend this hotel for location, comfort and value.
When using the wifi, you had to reconnect through settings each time you opened the computer.
The room was a big surprise as we did not expect such accommodations. The breakfast area was large enough to handle all the guests without a problem.
Pool was located in the shade. The game area was too hot. Breakfast offerings were not kept full. I had to wait for eggs, sausages and bagels at different times.
Bed was good.
A fire alarm at 1am was very poorly handled. There was NO communication from the desk clerk, who wandered around as clueless as the guests. We stood outside for 45min then guests simply wandered back into the lobby. We eventually just went back up the stairs, apparently no fire. I heard the next day that some just stayed in bed. Hotel staff should be required to manage a safe evacuation. Simply unacceptable. No apology, no explaination, nothing. Wifi never worked in the room. Bathtub didn't drain. Traffic/street noise.
Large room with kitchen facilities Complimentary breakfast and even dinner M - T during the week (which we did not partake in, but would be great for families) Close to downtown area but out of the hustle & bustle
the pillows - much too soft
Nice modern apartment in a pretty good location. Great that breakfast is included in the price.
Dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, sofa bed not made up...and took ages to get these things addressed at front desk (really nice staff...but it took 2 calls and over an hour to get a couple of plates and sheets). These things were pretty minor though and I would recommend it.
Staff was friendly and location is good.
Charged price was more than the reserved. Had to work with hotel for the refund.
We stayed for five nights with two young kids and had ample room. The couple of small items broken in the room (a dresser handle and a light bulb) were promptly fixed by the staff when mentioned. We had shouting from the street on Saturday night--this is an urban location after all--but overall we slept well. The food and the convenient valet parking were big plusses.
Big comfy bed, kitchenette, good hot shower,,food and booze
Breakfast was ample in the morning. There was always a pot of coffee on in the lobby. Valet staff were great. Having a balcony was the best part.
The walls were so thin that I thought house keeping was in my room when they were in the room next door. You could hear everything your neighbour said, well. Could have been cleaner.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and we loved the hot breakfast and light supper that was included. Great location. We definitely would stay here again.
