We could go on foot to the space needle and from there by Monorail to the downtown. Hotel was very clean and so were the rooms. Free continental breakfast and from Monday to Thursday complimentary dinner. Good value. We would go there again.
Luke-warm scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon for breakfast. But that wouldn't stop us from going there again.
We stayed there for NYE because of its proximity to the Space Needle. It was such a pleasant surprise! On NYE, and I guess most week nights, they serve a free dinner, which was quite good. So was their free breakfasts. Much more than you usually get. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen very functional, and the staff great! I would highly recommend this hotel.
Space Needle New Years fireworks were just a 10 minute walk away! Our room overlooked the bay and we couldn't stop looking out the window. Room includes BOTH a delicious dinner and buffet breakfast! We were so surprised by the dinner- it's called a "Welcome Home Reception" but should be advertised more! We enjoyed Chicken Cordon Blue, but other nights had Pulled BBQ pork, pepper steak, meatballs and pasta and meatloaf all with a vegetable side dish and bread or rice. Also complimentary beer and wine! Breakfast has everything anyone could want including cheese omelets, sausage, red potatoes and yogurt or fruit (plus much more!). Our room had a flat screen TV in the bedroom and a second one in the living room area. Nice dark wood finishes and granite counters in the bathroom. We never wanted to leave! Comfortable bed, super clean, nice kitchen with toaster, coffee maker, bowls, plates, silverware, can opener and sharp knife! Like a second home- we will be back!
We couldn't figure out how to turn off the light in the kitchen area, so we left it on the entire time. This was fine because w3e slept in the bedroom, but if someone was sleeping on the pull out bed they would have had to sleep with the light on. I guess we could have called the front desk to ask about it....but we were too relaxed!
4 blocks to space needle and emp museum. easy walk up hill
The bed was soooo comfortable, and the staff was friendly (with the exception of one particularly slightly-intrusive member), and the complimentary dinner and breakfast was the best!
Intrusive staff member who constantly felt the need to comment on when I left, or entered the hotel-made me feel uncomfortable by noting (aloud) that I was up late, as if what I did on my vacation (or any other reason I was staying at the hotel) was any of her business!? She wasn't rude, but it certainly made me feel sub-conscious around her every time I entered/left the building.
Both dinner and breakfast were included in the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean.
Nice people specially Virginia, night manager, always smiling and happy to help. Great Value/Price
A/C could be inneficiant and noisy but it was August!!
We liked the complimentary dinner they offer during the week. What a nice surprise! Very spacious rooms. Great place for a family to stay and business men and women. All the comforts of home
I liked the position of this hotel , short walk to the space needle , 10 minute walk to the water front . We upgraded to a suite with a water view which was fab. Front desk staff were very helpful , especially Mary , thank you very much , would stay here again no problem .
Location is great. Walked few blocks to Space Needle and park area. Close to Pier 91 for cruise ships. The hotel has shuttle services, which you pay separately for but worth the low cost. We took from from airport to hotel, and from hotel to Pier 91. Drivers were great and price very reasonable. Free breakfast was great. Rooms and facilities great. Staff was excellent at helping us with all question, tours, and transportation. Would definitely go back here if visit Seattle again. Perfect location to see Seattle before/after a cruise ship.
No pool for kids to use.
Attentive staff, cleanliness, access to key locations (e.g., Seattle Aquarium, the Space Needle, Elliot Bay, etc.)
Because of the side closer to the main road, there was substantial traffic noise. However, because I was tired from many hours of across-the-coast travels, I had no trouble falling asleep.
Large room Comfortable bed View Breakfast Wi-fi Location
Nice view on the bay. A lot of space with 'living room' to the corridor.
A bit noisy early in the morning from the Avenue crossing in front of the hotel, but still okay.
Room was spacious and clean. Welcome reception very nice. Breakfast very good each day.
Close to Pike Market and downtown.
Garage was terrible...too small to maneuver and open to vagrants...pee and poop all over!!!! Kitchen was not supplied...no soap, papertowels, dishwasher powder, etc
Location was great for Seattle Center.
An extra bed was offered, but there was no room for the extra bed….so we had to use the mattress on the floor. Breakfast was nice but finished too early.
Dinner on Mon-Thurs. Very helpful front desk. Went above and beyond. Good size of rooms and very comfortable. Very close to things and great public transport. Laundry room is to use. Closeness to Lakeside walk.
More selection at Breakfast would be nice. Very close to busy highway, so can get noisy if on wrong side of building.
Spacious suite. Comfortable large bed. Separate lounge and bedroom.
Can't turn off air conditioner, very cold at night. it was also very loud
Parking, just pay for the pass
Every member of the staff was so friendly. They all had smiles. The breakfast service at morning was great as was the evening meal that was completely unexpected.
The location was a little far from some things but the staff directed us to the bus service that was pretty convenient.
Very friendly helpful staff
No complaints couldnt improve anything
The location is excellent - walking distance to most things. The room was nice and the bath products high quality. Breakfast was good. Rating the staff Fair because I believe that housekeeping could have been better. However, the front desk and breakfast staff were Excellent.
One weird thing we experienced is that our 'do not distub' sign was removed from our door and it was not replaced in the room by housekeeping. This impacted us three mornings of our five day stay. Also, housekeeping let our bath supplies run down/out the last full day we were there. Had to use kleenex for T.P. the last morning. Poor!
The view from our room
Had to pay for parking Had to pay for Wi-fi
Good location for the purpose of our visit. Breakfast had decent variety and plenty of room for sitting down to eat. Parking turned out OK on the street though a couple of times we had to park a block to two away.
Rm 616 isn't big enough for a sofa sleeper. Barely able to get into or out of the room with the kids on the sleeper.
