Location, staff, breakfast, room size and facilities, beds were terrific, great property with older kids!!
Noise from the street / hotel across street was terrible
The staff and all facilities were great. I would love to stay at the Stay if we ever get back to Hawaii.
The street is a little noisy.
Friendly staff, helpful with temporary storage, not too far from the delightful Aquarium, nice breakfast. helpful getting a taxi to the door.
No reading lamp, a bit cramped room, no view to enjoy
Friendly staff, great location.
The hotel is in need of an upgrade. Karaoke bar in lobby is a little loud at night.
Close to beach and Kings village. Very good with laundary possibilities.
Extremly noisy, hotel is just behind Hyatt and a lot of truck traffic early in the morning and some party on late night. No real windows to isolate the noise from outside.
Location, location, location!
Noisy Some staff members were not so friendly and helpful
Location was great.
Room was a bit small & not like photos on website. Not as clean & fresh as expecting
Close to the fun in Waikiki. Friendly and helpful staff.
Very Noisy. Staff moved us to a room further back off the street but it was still really noisy. Floor to ceiling windows didn't help and the air conditioner is old so it was noisy too. Expensive for what it was. No facilities for baby - kettle, microwave or hot water would have been helpful.
Great staff, Great location, clean comfy room
All the hidden fees!!!!!!! It was beyond a joke, I missed a flight from jkf & I was promised a night waved but it hadn't been. The staff kept insisting that the previous staff had made a error. Hidden fees was extremely frustrating & I would advise future people willing to stay here, that you look a little deeper into a hotel else where.
Location is great for Waikiki Beach area
Non working TV, controller, showerhead, lobby printer, air conditioner, traffic.
* Location is good
1) Noisy - the windows here are the kind you find in warehouses. This means zero noise protection, which makes you feel like you're sleeping in the street. Partygoers and loud drunks until late at night (weekends - 4am). And construction noises from 8am. 2) Old - The rooms themselves are old and poorly renovated. Especially the bathroom. Also the fact that I didn't have a chair or a proper desk in my room was very annoying. 3) Extremely Greedy Pricing - I know that it's high season (end of year), but paying ~$450/night was simply an act of greed. This is the kind of room I would feel bad paying $90/night for (unfortunately, I didn't have much choice - it was either staying in this hotel or sleeping in street, which noise-wise, didn't feel much different).
Free towels for the beach !
Looks more like a hostel not like a hotel. They took out a fee of 100 dollar befor you get the room. ( if you will destroy something). The room was not cleaned. The floor were very dirty. It didn't look than a 3 star hotel just like I sad, more than a 3 star hostel...
Free WiFi All tours buses stop there One block from the beach
Staff, location, breakfast
Its very noisy outside, the bed is uncomfortable and the room is super small for the money paid
Location was great, only a block from Waikiki Beach. Included breakfast was simple but sufficient.
WiFi was atrocious and virtually unusable. The room was not clean when I arrived or during my stay. There is a lot of noise in the morning as the street is a stop for shuttles and backs on to major hotels. I would book earlier next time and find something with better value for money.
Sparse room dido rest of property
Not enough sitting place for breakfast
Very close to beach and bars
It was noisy but I sleep with earplugs, so no big deal.
Never in my travelling life have I been treated this brutally by anyone in the so-called hospitality business. Complete lack of flexibility and customer focus. The hotel refuses to take cash. I have no credit card. What does a hotel with a no-cash policy do in such a case? It makes an exception. Not this one. The girls at reception were actually ready to kick me out, i.e. cancel my reservation, though I had the full amount in cash in hand. I found a solution, but not thanks to them. They did miraculously accept my 100 dollar deposit in cash, but on check-out they told me they were going to send me a cheque refund. A cheque is useless outside the US: in Europe it's not valid and in non-US countries where it is accepted there will be a large processing fee. As an aside, I haven't received the cheque yet. The room itself was noisy and cramped, and breakfast consisted of factory food. No points there either.
location mid waikiki
lamps that did not work no instructions for using telephone in room no windows
The hotel was a short distance to the beach and bus stops
The size of the room
Great location and breakfast in the morning
A little bit noisy at night and bed not Really confortable
