We loved how large our room was and enjoyed having a full kitchen.

There were no extra blankets for the living room. When we checked in the front desk didn't even ask how our day was and also didn't take any time to show us where our room was. We checked in at what would have seemed like the main building and we were told our room was in the next tower. No direction and we weren't even told who we were supposed to talk to to find our room. We are from Oahu and chose to spend our 2 days off at your resort and no one at your resort even asked why we were visiting.

The property is gorgeous! The grounds are spectacular with 7 pools, access to the beach, shops close by, and a decent restaurant on site. The room was immaculate (I am very picky about cleanliness and use this term sparingly) and very comfortable. I paid rack rate for a one-night's stay, but feel it was worth the price. I wish my stay were longer!

The prices in the shop (like a cross between a deli/coffee-shop) were outrageous.

Loved the entire package! By far the nicest place I have ever stayed. Exceeded all of my expectations. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Extremely clean facilities. Everyone seemed to love their job and be happy that we were there.

Cold pools! They should heat for what they charge! Would have liked to have a late checkout instead we paid for a full day to check out 5 hours late

Having the flexibility of a kitchen and washing facilities within our room. The view was nice.

The noise from others on their balcony or in the courtyard 6 floors below as their voices ecoed and kept us up at night, especially one early morning from a group obviously enjoying each others company at the expense of other guests.

I am a World traveler...From Istanbul , Turkey,so its large experience... Honua Kai Resort was exellent. Friendly staff, very good food in seaside restaurant... (Fish menu)...

Try to open Spa ASAP...

We had a fabulous experience at the Honua Kai Resort & Spa, and we all agree it was the nicest place we have ever stayed. Our condo-style room (two bedrooms & baths, living area, kitchen) were beautiful. The dining options were delicious. The pools were wonderful with lots of seating. The beach was fabulous. The location feels private & exclusive, yet is also very close to Lahaina. The entire experience was simply wonderful, and we have agreed that we definitely want to stay here again.

The ocean area right next to the beach has lots of rocks. Most of them are not very dangerous, but it makes playing in the surf a little more precarious. I would also appreciate hypo-allergenic bedding options. But these were small concerns compared to our overall wonderful experience.

Modern design. Clean. Contemporary. Great value.

Nothing except for the fact that there are two towers. Upon check-in, we went to the first tower but was told that our room was in the second tower. After having unloaded all of our luggage, we had to haul everything back to the car, load it up, and unload it at the next hotel. Without knowing there were two towers, is there any way for travelers to be informed in advance where they should check in? We were tired after doing Road to Hana all day and was frustrated with this delay upon check in.

The room was amazing! Super clean at all times, there were appliances in the room complete kitchen and washer dryer, super convenient, even a dish washer that the cleaning lady would do for us... The location in Kaanapali is superb, the beach is nice and calm...

Everybody was nice but I think the people behind the desk could be a little bit more helpful...

We were in room hh608. I liked the spacious room and its decor. The appliances and amenities were appreciated. I would have liked place settings for more than four and a cookie sheet or similar for the oven. The location was quiet and close to restaurants and shops. The beach was lovely to walk on. We liked being on the south side overlooking the empty lot because it was quiet. Every valet and bellman were top notched and very friendly. I loved the art in the hotel lobby, since I'm an artist. However, no one knew who the artists were and no reference on the walls near. I'd like to know. The pastel and oil paintings are beautiful. Dukes is convenient.

I don't mind having a light cleaning from housekeeping. However, I would have liked floor and counter cleaning products since that was not provided. There was a mop, broom, and tb brush, but I had only water to clean with. My room was never vacuumed or swept by housekeeping the nine days I was there. They did change the sheets upon request. Overall, housekeeping was fine and only one Sunday they never came back to clean the room when we said we'd be out by eleven. Also, the pools were disappointing. The majority three foot depth was too much and not one pool was geared towards adult swimming. If I had a young family I would have been fine. But being in my fifties, I wanted to do more swimming than just standing in a pool that only goes to four feet.The chaise lounge chairs around the pool need cushions-they were very uncomfortable and everyone said they were hard to get in and out of. One day, one had a cushion on it and that made all the difference.

The hotel accommodations were excellent. It was great to be able to cook most of our meals in the room and have everything we needed. The location, view, and beach were all good.

The price. It's expensive, but we knew that beforehand. I also think the resort fee is unnecessary. I would have preferred a resort without so many children. It was difficult to relax poolside with loud kids running around.

I wish the resort wouldn't allow so many locals on the resort. If you're not paying for the resort accomidations, you should be on the property. A local tried to start a fight with me in the parking lot, over a parking spot. A Ridiculous situation

Everything. My only regret is that since this hotel was our first hotel of the trip, we didn't appreciate the facilities as much as we should have. I would love to stay here again.

I figure if the front desk would orientate the guests on how to use the facilities better, such as pool time or which services are complimentary etc. the guests would appreciate the hotel better.

Great room and location, on the beach. Also, great on-site restaurant (Duke's).

It was a great stay. Handy Havin a supermarket right across the road. Beach was very close. View was ok, when you expect ocean view and you have to lean over the balcony to see it, it slightly puts a damper on the honeymoon when you think you should be able to see it straight up.

Gettin charged service fees when they didn't clean the room at my request was a put off. The service fees aren't cheap either. The view was ok, bit of a let down on arrival.

We rented a partial ocean view room but the view of the ocean was available if you sat in the very far corner of the deck it should have been described as a mountain view
