Wished there was gym facilities
Perfect location and very comfy bed!
Old bathroom plumbing
Front desk staff
We had an issue with an old Toliet, but Travis worked it all out for us. Great service and resolution. Thank you!!
The location of the Horton Grand was great! Easy walk to lots of fun bars and shopping.
the drugs were intolerable
close to gaslamp
It's a little old. but price was very good for the location.
Valet parking cost of 35 dollars per night
Fireplace in the room , goldplated faucets
Very small room
The toilet in our room was not working properly and I know that there was something causing a blockage as it was evident that a snake had been used to try to clear it. The maintenance department really needed to just remove the toilet, tip it over and remove the obstacle - there really is no other way.
The hotel is a beautiful period piece in every way. The location was perfect, close to restaurants and the waterfront.
I made a special request, but no one even entertained my request. It was my wife's birthday. You dropped the ball. First impression means a lot. As a result of you dropping the ball, I won't be staying at your hotel again in the near future. I will also influence my friends to not consider your hotel for there leisure stays.
King-sized bed, fireplace, balcony.
WiFi didn't work so unless it's improved I wouldn't recommend this place for business travelers. If you don't need WiFi though, it's a great hotel for the money!
Can't beat the price for a location like that!
The travel brochures were kind of hidden under the stairs, not the advertizing ones, but the booklets What to do and see. We found them the morning we were leaving.
Hotel's character and history was interesting and staff was very helpful.
Poor WiFi and very small bathroom
But the coffee maker is too old to work and no one help me oto change it.
It is a good locaion to go to the convertion centre. I really like the old style of the furniture and decoration.
Best mattress ever!
Extremely noisy at night until the early hours The room was not comfortable and the bathroom had no room to place anything.I Asked to change rooms on arrival but there was nothing available
no Refridgerator, or microwave
We had to change rooms because of the street noise. The second room was a little quieter but both rooms were dark and needed updating. The bathrooms were poorly lit and made it difficult to apply makeup. The wifi was free but it was very slow.
Lobby was nice and the restaurant had good food and was well priced.
-hotel is across from nightclub and some rooms face the street that the club is on. The club asks their patrons to keep the noise level down, but you can hear people on the street sometimes. The club is only open Fri and Sat, so you don't have to deal with noise most nights. If you happen to be there when the club is open, all you have to do is turn on some ambient noise (fan, white noise app on phone). That being said... the gaslamp district is pretty wild, so if you expect to stay in the district, you might experience such noise just about anywhere.
-staff was great -rooms were comfy- historic beautiful wooden furniture -beautiful courtyard -couldn't ask for better location- close to conference center and gaslamp
Internet was very weak.
Rooms not sufficiently sound-proof; too much noise from guests overhead_ too much early morning noise from trash pick-ups. Hotel is only four stories high! Old, Vintage Style
Close proximity to convention center and major conference hotels.
Bathroom although clean enough needs repair. Bed is way too soft.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Upgraded us to a suite when they saw we had a baby to accommodate a playpen. Great location. history of the hotel is neat.
No fitness facility
Older more traditional hotel
The noise outside was too high.
The gas lamp quarter, very cult and many bars and restaurants
