The breakfast is not good and you don't have a choices
The staff was very personable and made me feel welcomed. I would recommend the Hospitality Inn to anyone who wanted a relaxing homelike atmosphere.
Easy access to I 5 Only 15 mins from downtown by car Value for money Close to Trader Joe's Clean and comfortable
Breakfast adequate, but would have preferred some yogurt, or a boiled egg as protein. Went out and bought our own yogurt and bananas Coffeemate in a hotel is a "no no". Sachets of cream you can store in the fridge. Thank goodness for Starbucks next door. Choice of fruit not good.
the breakfast, should be a little bacon or some meaty thing.
Great desk clerk. Clean!! Would stay here again!
No issues at all!
The guy behind the counter was great a lot of fun to talk to full of info. Room was roomy well thought out in arrangement. Enough room for two suit cases and still move around. Room was clean no blackened white socks here. Beds were great no lumps or sags great support for a weary back. Breakfast- good varity of cerials and fruit.
The dinning room could have been bigger. For a three story motel it was a little small.
clean and quiet
The hotel was very close to to I-5 so getting into Portland to return our rental car was a breeze.
Not enough protein on the breakfast choices--no hard boiled eggs for instance.
The gentleman at the desk was very helpful. We didnt know the area and he lets us know how to get where we were going.we stayed in the king suite was very comfortable. Location was great to get on I-5.We would stay again.
Wish they had a pool.
Location- just 5 min drive to downtown. Free wi-fi
It smells old and needs some improvements. Breakfast did not have much variety and everything was way too sweet and full of carbs...
The guy with white hair and glasses is Jeff, and he was wonderful. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and full of suggestions. Threw motel is located very close to major streets and highways which is great. You don't hear car noises in your room, however, which is even better. You're minutes away from everything. The bed was super comfy and the room was clean. The price couldn't be beat. This was my first time using booking.com, but it won't be the last. I'm glad I trusted the reviews of this place.
Hotel services are good; accessible to many things within your reach such as restaurants, pharmacy shop & supermarket.
The staff are friendly. Location is good. The room is clean and comfy.
the location is pretty good if you wanna go shopping. 10 mins driving to Washington square and 20 mins to woodburn outlets.
bad wifi signal. really bad. you can figure it out if you have laptop, coz you can get a network cable to use.
Friendly front desk clerk and lobby looked clean and well decorated. The beds were comfortable with good mattresses.Good location with regards restaurants.
It is an old facility - elevator and carpets were not clean. Old wall air conditioner unit was very noisy. Very poor wifi - windows 8 could not connect, the reason given was that there were too many guests using wifi (Motel not fully booked). Breakfast was poor - very limited selection: no refrigerated items like yogurt or cream cheese. No microwave in breakfast area. Drab appearance of breakfast room
Excellent service. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Recommend!
Close and easy access to freeway.
Noisy: traffic noise and a LOT of noise from other rooms and the hallway. Room AC/heater had no way to have fan run continuously to provide background white noise, so we resorted to leaving the faucet running. Room furniture is cheap particleboard that shows decades of wear. Light fixture over sink separating from the wall. The TV cable wire was run through a rough hole in the ceiling. Electrical outlet covers were cracked, loose, and misaligned. There was also a very strong disinfectant smell throughout the building.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, in that they allowed me to check in about an hour earlier than standard check-in. The room I had was quiet, and comfortable. The location, while a bit removed from downtown, was convenient in that several restaurants and a Walgreens were all within < 2 minutes' walking distance.
Some very minor things: tv reception/selection/sound quality could have been better. Guests taking breakfast back to their rooms in clear ignorance of the posted rules (not the hotel's fault, but could be monitored). Elevator door interior cold use a coat of paint; graffiti scratched onto doors gives a "ghetto" impression that shouldn't be, because the place is nice.
Staff was friendly, the room was big, quite and clean, great breakfast, lots of places to eat just next door.
Wish it had better cable in the room, and maybe a DVD player.
Requested non-smoking room. Room absolutely stank of cigarette smoke upon entering. Staff denied it was ever a smoking room and made up some crazy story that it was probably smoke from adjacent smoking rooms. Room was obviously a smoking room as evidenced by cigarette burns in carpet and burns on bath tub beside toilet. Unable to switch rooms. Old tired hotel, hallways wreaked of moth balls and stale cigarette smoke. Carpets threadbare and decor old. Even the sign out front had burnt out letters. General poor maintenance over-all. WiFi worked first night. Didn't work next day. Staff unable to fix problem on their end. Sketchy area of town. $80 a night and not worth it. I'd rate it a 2. For $95 a night I later stayed at the Comfort Inn in Gladstone. What a difference. Fresh, newer built hotel with excellent facilities and super clean rooms. I'd give this a 4.5 ( Location not great but safer area than Hospitality Inn ).
I liked the location. The staff was helpful.
The breakfast leaved a lot to be desired. All carbs with the exception of apples and oranges. Even just yogurt or hard boiled eggs would have been wonderful!
Rooms were nice and spacious, very quiet up on 3rd floor. Beds were very comfortable.
You can smell old cigarette smoke sometimes, especially out in the hallways. There were no towels to use in the spa room.
We had wanted to be downtown to be close to the action, but because we were so late on booking the hotel, that wasn't an option for us. However, we discovered it was approximately 13 minute bus ride on the number 12 bus, with stops just outside the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean, and it's good value.
