Best hostel I have ever been
A little bit expensive, but that is probably because the city is also expensive
Modern Great location!
Bunk beds too small for me Stinky guy in bunk next to me
It felt more like a hotel than a hostel 10 out of 10 with walking distance to everything
Nothing to complain about
Muffins Common spaces
Housekeeping came in multiple times every morning and weren't quiet
It was cheap and convenient. I was also my last resort, so if this had not been available I would've had to sleep under a bridge.
The noise the other roommates made tossing and turning, coming in and out of the room, keeping the lights on until late, etc... Not something the hostel can really do much about.
Best hostel I've ever stayed at.
Aaron - staff member was really helpful, gave us some good ideas of places to see. Also went on the Harpoon brewery tour guided by him too which was great! Hostel was clean and comfortable Breakfast was good too! Wifi was good and so was the washing machines and dryers.
Dormitory doors could do with anti-slam mechanisms as you tend to wake up every time anyone gets up to use the bathroom in the night if they don't catch the door when they leave and enter the room
The bed wasn't too comfortable
We were refused to be checked in because my son is 12 years old, in which age is not allowed in Youth Hostel.
Having not stayed in a hostel for years I was amazed at how well it was run, the food was great. Aaron, who wanders around the dining room in the morning giving tips to travellers was fabulous, we got some great ideas on what to see. Location was fabulous.
Wifi didn't work in our room, we were at the front and had a lot of street noise. Bed a bit squeaky. These things wouldn't have been so bad if the hostel hadn't been so expensive.
Good location, clean bed, clean bathroom, helpfull staff.
It was relatively cheap compared to other places
The staff was very unfriendly The location is not a nice place to walk around in the evening
Location was fab, staff were very helpful and ways around, good wifi too! Love the set up, overall I had a very good experience with HI Boston
CONVIENANCE ROOM WAS CLEAN VERY STANDARD LOOKING
SHOWER CURTAIN LOOKED OLD AND BEAT UP. I LIKED THE DESIGN OF IT BUT JUST OLD LOOKING.
The location is great. The staff are really helpful and friendly.
It seems sometimes the wifi isn't stable in bed(maybe distracted by the metal board)
I like almost everything there !!!
I just don't like the water shower in the restroom is too slow !!!
The hostel has no personality and is overpriced for a hostel, let alone a non profit one
- Central place - easy acces - breakfast (free) - helpful staff
- narrow place in front of the beds
Facilities were great, breakfast was really good and the location was perfect
Wifi did not work in our room
The breakfast is excellent and the staff show a very welcoming spirit.
safe, great location, clean
the restroom facilities are good and almost clean
the staff here are indifference and unfriendly
Value for money has been perfect. I have alreday planned for future trips to Washington D.C. and Chicago while I would like to stay with HI in respective place.
Day-to-day cleaning of room while staying at HI-Boston has not been good at all.
