Location, Anthony's, rooms and matresses. Great seating area's and common rooms and breakfast
Comfort, stuff, bad room, no conditioner , you cannot talk , sleep, the most scary and ugly place which I see .
Large selection for breakfast Next to Chinatown
There was filming crew at the time we stayed, which meant we weren't allowed to use the facilities (as they were using the rooms for filming) and we were not allowed to speak when walking to our room - the film crew were extremely rude telling us to be quiet because they were filming. The hostel should have made it clear that filming was happening that weekend, as we would not have stayed here. It was also very crowded with the film crew hanging everywhere with their equipment.
Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great.
Central Location Affordable price with good breakfast good restaurants and activities nearby wonderful staff clean rooms (6 per room) with semi-private bathroom nice common areas with good TV and internet connections
Parking was difficult and expensive, try parking nearby across bridge on summer street for $19/day. Could not find parking near subway for overnight parking.
I had a private room, which was a good size (though would have been small with the three person max occupancy). Breakfast was simple but good, and the very friendly people helped me out when I wanted a last snack while they were tidying up. Excellent Wifi.
The bed was a bit bumpy, and there was a big fan just outside the window (which was not well insulated). Bring earplugs for this room. Shower was ok, but low water pressure.
The location was good and the staff were accommodating. Was well connected with the rest of regions. The breakfast was excellent and they don't mind you coming late (unless u r very late)... The access to kitchen was very helpful
The toilets could have been a little cleaner but not much complaints there !!
Everybody was so friendly and helpful. Since its a hostel I didn't expect such great service and comfort. Allin all I loved it!
the location is great, the breakfast is vary good for a hostel and it has a fair variety.
The bathrooms were not that clean, they should be cleaned regularly given the large number of people using them .
Great breakfast with a huge selection. Huge private room. Very close to everything Boston has to offer. Very clean and tidy.
Everything perfect.confortable, excellent service, good breakfast, wifi working everywhere
Nothing to say
Location Breakfast Staff
Room heater not working well, making room very cold at night and despite informing counter staff no action done until 2 days later
Expectations were FAR exceeded by all the great offerings of HI Boston. Would return again and again!
Some guests leave behind a bit of a mess in the bathrooms but im guessing that to be something out of everyones control.
Location, staff, activities of hostel, breakfast
The hotel is in the center and very closed to the train station. The breakfast is very good and offer more things than the average hotel does.
The laundry machine was broken and because of that we had to take all our dirty clothes to a neighborhood laundry. It took us almost two hours and it really made us made.
It is my first time to stay in a hostel because the hotels are incredibly expensive around downtown Boston. However, I am surprisingly comfortable throughout my 4-night stay here. Everything is just worth the price.
Probably at night the air-conditioner is not cooling the room sufficiently.
This hostel is very clean, tidy, safe, and suitable for all kind of guests, from backpackers to families. They also provide breakfast with various food choices. The first night I stayed, I also got free dinner. Hi-Boston is the best hostel I ever stayed.
Simply the best Hostel i've ever been in
Breakfast. It was clean and spacious and of high quality for a hostel.
Very expensive for what you got. Twin room was a small double bed with a single bunk above. The bed felt like a fold-out / camp bed and wasn't very comfortable. For $250 AUD a night, I think that's poor. However, given almost all the other city hotels in Boston are $350 + a night, we didn't have any other options. The hostel was of good standard for a hostel.
Got diverse food esp some Yogurt every single morninng . friendly staffs , a must be in skyline walking tour !!
Not peak season but a Rediculous domitory rate ! The best expensive hostel in the USA :/ A Need to Clean up under lower bunk.. n still Block the sink after myself by 314 room
- Friendly staff. - Cleanliness. - Location.
Great location close to downtown, clean and tidy and the staff were really helpful. Would highly recommend
Almost everything. Although I don't have a big experience of living in hostels and took this one because of emergency, I highly recommend it to young people who visit Boston for any reason and duration.
The price. Pretty high, although worth it.
It was very good - all the facilities were excellent
It seemed frightfully expensive for a bed in a dorm.
