Excellent value for money - comfortable, clean, great location, an amazing FREe breakfast. I've stayed in far better hotels, but for a hostel this certainly tops the list, you really couldn't ask for more...
Great Breakfast. Roommates were really friendly and considerate. So matching of roommates worked out nicely. Piano was nice
Perhaps the bathroom cleanness. Wifi kept dropping out.
Great location, good structure, bathrooms were clean and can be used by one person at a time, which gives great privacy.
Couldn't stand eating hardboiled eggs for breakfast.
location and facilities
bed was poor quality or needing replaced - very uncomfortable
Location is excelent, near many atractions. The room was clean and well cared during our stay. Staff was very helpful and professional. Breakfast was good although with lots of people... maybe extra space would be nice.
The bed is small concerning a person's height. I'm 1,81m tall and it was quite difficult to sleep in those circumstances.
I LIKE ALL
The breakfast, the location and the Price for Boston
The wifi was not working with my phone
Staff was friendly and helpful, location was superb, bed, bathroom and dinner area were clean. Next door is cheap pizza and the shops are very close.
Bit expensive for the space you get.
The free breakfast was nice, it was in a great area too. The staff were very nice and doing events u met people too. I may of travel on my own, but was never on my own in the hi bostel. I made friends there too.
It was fine
Near everything, clean, good breakfast. They have a bar at the lobby which opens 24 hs (good option when you get back late). People at the front desk is very kind.
The food was awesome. Reasonable cost for laundry and vending. AWESOME location - very sensible choice.
staff, facilities, breakfast, pretty much everything
the keycard didnt work well, had to swipe it a couple of times in order to open the door. Not too big of a deal really.
Location, cleanliness, comfort, quietness
Wi-fi was not working at all in the hostel.
Bathrooms are not clean enough all time.
Excellent location, very clean, organised, great place.
Tours and events put on by the hostel. Ideal for a solo traveler to meet people
I usually head to Boston to visit my son and friends. Love this place and the environment.
I don't like the time for check-in, sometimes you arrive so tired and you want to be able to get a shower and rest, not wonder in the city until it's 4 PM .... The maintenance in the 3rd floor is not so nice as in the 4th I guess... or maybe was just bad luck in my last visit there.
location; option for a private room; clean
horrendous prices ($200/night for a private spartan room); loud at night; not a very welcoming atmosphere; the free breakfast was not very good; messy breakfast room; not a friendly atmosphere. If you are looking for a private room, try a hotel in a similar price range; Boston is a small town with a good subway system - you don't have to stay in the very center of town.
I stayed only one day but it is really nice place, they have even breakfast and billiard-table! Rooms are OK, even with the locker and small shelf for each bed inside the room.
air conditioning in the room was a little bit to strong
it is central, clean, stuff is friendly and wifi is decent. it is one of the best hostels I have stayed in
The hostel is really nice! The beds of the dorms are placed in a way that provide privacy and the lockers are just next to the beds. There are a lot of restrooms on the floor. We didn't have to wait for our turn although the hostel was fully booked. The location of the hostel is great. Just walking distance to Boston Common and many other attractions.
The wifi didn't work on my phone and the breakfast was poor.
It was clean and easily reached from the bus station. Also felt safe.
This is an expensive hostel that does not at all feel like a hostel...walls were thin, people packed in like sardines, staff poorly trained on speaking with nonnative English speakers. It felt like a big money maker for someone, but not a cozy hostel experience. My WiFi worked, but people with iPhones couldn't get on.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I hoped there would be more interaction with other guests, but people didn't interact much outside their own little groups.
