Friendliness of staff, size of rooms, breakfast was fantastic, free food in the evenings, shower next door which was always clean
Staff was extremely helpful and understanding. Wonderful eclectic atmosphere.
The Hostel is very well located and the facilities are extremely nice for a hostel. Dorms and bathrooms are very clean and the staff extremely helpful. The hostel also runs events and tours that allow travellers the chance to meet other travellers.
The free breakfast and it's located perfectly
The doors are very thin, we could hear the people shouting on the corridor the whole night
The overall experience was great, everything I saw in the hostel and the location of the hostel were excellent
There were two-three employees that were really great with guests, others were just okay.
Clean Well-designed interior space
The bed is too short for me (only 74 1/2 inches)
Great hostel with great private rooms. Spacious and good facilities.
Bed was broken and very uncomfortable. Had a bad sleep.
First time in a hostel, I was nervous. But man this place is amazing. I was greeted by lovely staff at the front desk when I arrived - there is a super friendly guy roaming at breakfast to help plan your day - he has great tips and suggestions and helped me plan my visit on a map for me to take around. Wifi signal was of the HD netflix level all over hostel. Bathrooms are self contained (no akward shower curtains and privacy issues) with fresh bath mats per shower and always clean! Big open kitchen with staff around the clock to clean dishes. Location is quite central too - very easy to access airport or Amtrak. I am now staying at another HI and I'm afraid Boston was so amazing I now have very high expectations of hostels!
Organização e limpeza.
Very nice Hostel with excellent breakfast, very well located, few minutes from busstation and everything else, very nice room (Had a doubleroom), nice kitchenarea, very nice entrance area.... Really awesome, would def stay there again!!!
the reception Woman- we had more welcoming persons at other Hotels...
We got a lot of tips from a staff member at HI-Boston called Aaron. Thanks to him we had a blast in Boston!
Would be nice if they had more cooking knives but it is not really necessary.
Clean quite and comfortable
Didn't find something that I didn't like
clean, affordable, great location for theater district, parking garage on Beach Street is economical for Boston
it was very hot in the room and took a long time to get it to cool down - this was on New Year's eve
The staff was very accommodating. I liked the information the hotel had available on things to do.
The very accommodating staff won't text me back :/
Service was really nice.
Rats were squeaking every night and there was a stuffed tail of a rat right next to my bed(upper bunk). I guess the body would be in a specially covered concrete whereas the wall is all in bricks.
Breakfast - really set you up for the day.
Rooms were to hot ! Inconsistent amount of information given by staff to different visitors about what to do and see.
Lots of information for local activities Friendly staff and travelers Free breakfast and coffee Very clean and modern looking Pool table + social rooms Great location in the heart of Boston Walking distance from local sights and very close to public transportatiom Stayed in private 2 person room (verry affordable)
The room was a great value and they do offer activities daily. The location was convenient being close to 2 subway stops. The room temperature was comfortable. You'll meet some interesting people.
Everyone does not clean after themselves in the room and in the shared bathroom, but then again you are in a hostel. The big thing were the 2 rats I saw coming out of the brick wall in the kitchen. You are in the city but still not something I want to see in the kitchen no less.
so so so convenient to get everywhere! Excellent staffs, breakfast, nice tea! Everything is excellent!
the bed is tooooo short
Clean bathroom & dinning room. Excellent!
Cheerful, nice staff. Good location, in downtown area and very close to subway stops. Clean. For breakfast they had Cinnamon Raisin Bagels and Granola(among other things) and they were amazing. 24 hr coffee and tea on the second floor. The organization of the rooms were very nice, everyone has their own light, plug and private space. Free cookies in the lobby! The property looks new and I loved the decoration.
The only close grocery is an Asian grocery which did not have what I was looking for. Considerably more expensive than other hostels in Boston/other cities.
The WiFi worked sporadically, they told me that it was becuase of my room location. The room was not confortable, The location is in the Boston Chinatown but it was not worthy for the money I paid, better to stay away from the Boston downtown and travel by metro. I think it will be fine just for people traveling alone
Clean room and bathroom. It's nice to have a whole bathroom to yourself. Adequate lighting in room. 4 power sockets at your bunk. Breakfast provided. Great facilities. Elevator.
Low water pressure. Shower gel not provided.
