Great staff, fab location, I was on business and saved a packet, would do it again. Even the cafe is popular. They have thought of everything.

Poor sleep

I was very lucky to meet a great group of people, thanks to the activities provided by the hostel.

There was a kitchen, free wifi access and also it was near to subway cta stations and tourist attractions such as the Magnificent Mile.

The cost of a single room was too expensive.

Great location, and the free walking tour of the architectural landmarks was wonderful.

I like the location the best as it's convenient to the park, lake front, public transportation, shopping, etc.

Information /direction given was not accurate, which had resulted in wasting time in finding the place.

Breakfast wasn't up to much, and the kitchens available were very poor (the main kitchen was being renovated during my stay).

the fan hanging in the ceiling is too noisy. i couldn't fall asleep at all

Wi-Fi on uppers levels didn't work properly.

It's unbeatable for bang on the buck. It went way beyond any expectation I had, and would highly recommend it. Will be back.

Entrance area downstairs could be cleaner and perhaps use a coat of paint

We have always stayed at the Palmer House or The Allerton. My uncle asked that we stay there for convenience, as he was staying there. My 76 year old mother and I agreed to stay 1 night. It was spotless, staff was super helpful and it was in a great location. We got a suite so we had the room to ourselves. There were signs in english telling us what to see in the city and numerous discounts. I had nightmares leading up to this, thinking my luggage was going to get stolen and that it would look like the Blues Brother's movie (Elroy's room by the train) Free breakfast, which was just perfect. I can't say enough about this place.

We heard the train every 15 minutes.....

Great location and excellent facilities. I travelled on a small budget for business and would strongly recommend this for other low cost business trips - saved over $200 per night compared to my colleagues who stayed in hotels and I was certainly the only one who got free wifi and breakfast as part of the deal!

Couldn't open the window so it got a bit stuffy over a 5 day stay.

Location. Comfortable, relatively spacious, especially compared to the 40 dollar one in boston. It is a bit more expensive than other hostels, but there is a reason for that. Everything in it made me feel safe, and it matters to me a lot, whether it's actually safe or not
