When I called to cancel the reservation, the person answering the telephone was nice.
Location, police presence, no parking, no bell people, no person in the lobby, no desk clerk. Very scary, seemed very unsafe.
I have a disability and am unable to walk so good. I found area to be very easy to get around and I found room very easy to get around (: Staff was very kind as well and extremely helpful
That I never found a free trip to the Bahammas hidden somewhere
near BART station
the air in the room is a bit stuffy as windows can not be open.
The hostess was very so nice and helpful. She was very busy and efficient both at check-in and out.
parking is tricky
The location is convenient, very close to BART and to a bunch of cafes.
The hotel feels like a relic from the 80s. The bed was small, the decor was tired and the room had no windows.
The hotel was clean and staff were great, they were so helpful! It was very clean also!!
The area it was located in meant we had to get back to the hotel before it fell dark. The wifi didn't work very well all the time.
Bed too firm, very uncomfortable. Our car window was smashed and items were stolen. No secure parking available for this hotel.
Rooms were updated.
The hotel was very clean, and the staff were super nice.
The hotel is located downtown, and not in the best area. No hotel parking, you have to park on the street or pay for a lot parking (but it's unattended); very worrisome if you have a nice car. Rooms are tiny, and definitely not worth all the money.
I had to reschedule several times and I was so impressed and happy that the staff was happy to do so with no extra fees. They were so accommodating. Such a nice surprise and difference from almost all other hotels. Thank you!
The elevator was kind of scarey on the way down. It made a lot of noise and was jerky.
Slow elevator Poor security - my car was broken into
Near the fix theater where we saw a show.
Room was very small. Other than being close to fox theater not much else going on. Had to pay $15 extra for off street parking as it was not included with the reservation.
wi fi,, was Bad 4real,, everything else was really good,,, One Luvy!
The size of the room and bed was small. I heard a motor running all night and the shower water pressure was weak!
The location was near the venue we were in town for. The wifi was quick, not like most other hotels.
The night time staff was extremely rude. We were told out car was going to be in a locked, gated area with security. It wasn't in anything close to that. When asking the night desk man about it he got snappy and was quick to mention we weren't getting our parking removed from our bill. That wasn't even something we were asking for. Also the rooms were half the size of a normal hotel room & the TV didn't work at all. When we asked for help with the TV, the night attendantade us feel like we were stupid, and was rude about coming up. The TV actually was broke
the lift which was very loud
The beds are too small. The elevator seemed unsecure- noisy
The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was bigger than I expected with a huge huge bathroom.
The hair dryer in my bathroom still had hair in it. The elevator sounded like it was going to break down though.
good location to BART
the guy at the desk at night did not follow through with requests for scheduling taxi
Nothing, very disappointed stayed at many choice hotels before
Everything, stayed at choice hotels before and never did I met such a poor hotel. I am going to be asking for a refund. I had to sleep on a cot because the bed was not big enough for me and my husband. My back hurts from the bars in the middle of the cart. I want a refund. Please contact me
Comfortable, clean (albeit faded/stained a little on the walls/floors, but no 'people dirt', which is all I care about!), and good value, especially with nearby Bart making this an option even for San Francisco business travel.
Stained/faded carpet patches, small room (albeit bog enough, and bathroom was big)
I loved the staff (for the most part) and the hotel room. The room had a microwave and a mini fridge. It's close very to a Walgreens and a BART station which will get you into downtown SF in 20mins. There is a bar less than a block away called the Tribune Tavern which has amazing food and a wonderful drink menu. There is also an Ethiopian restaurant on the main floor of the hotel, in the back and an Indian/Pakistani right beside the hotel. No bed bugs is always an excellent stay. Free WiFi was fantastic.
The location was slightly sketchy. I never walked around the area late at night except to walk to the Tribune Tavern. The elevator was slow. During my first night (it was a Friday) I was woken up by the people in the room next door yelling. Even though the hotel in smoke free, they were smoking and it was drifting underneath the door (it was the adjoining room door that as locked, thank goodness). I called down to the front desk and he said he would take care of it. 45mins later they were still yelling, swearing and smoking but I had fallen back asleep by then. They were not there the second night.
location (very close to Burt station)
room was small.
