No business center to speak of! Just an out of order computer in the lobby. Not possible to print a document out.
Breakfast wasn't worth getting up for Rooms a little outdated
Location Value for money Quiet Updated bathroom Comfy beds
The breakfast was not good
Large clean room
The heating was so noisy that it sounded as if we we're sleeping in an engine room. So because of this I would not stay there again. A little sad about this.
Central location great staff and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was a little below par but the surroundings were lovely
tv didnt work,construction,some noise
the actual hotel
The wasn't water for almost al the time we were there, we checked at 6:00 p.m. but the water didn't come til' midnight, taking a bath is pretty important, y'know?
The room is perfect
I was under the impression that the room had undergone renovation. The shower curtain was soured. The bath towels were old and dingy.
I liked the size of the room, bathroom, and comfort of the bed. It is a very quaint hotel. It had a boutique feel with budget furnishings.
Look at the picture. See the Hotel 35 sign? The small window by the sign is our bathroom window, and the window with the A/C beside it is our bedroom. 2nd floor, front of hotel. City that doesn't sleep! Too true! Garbage collection 11 PM, etc. We got to experience the true ambience of night-time in New York City! Nothing that earplugs couldn't fix. Also , had trouble regulating heat in the room - steam radiators either full-on or full-off. Wound up running the A/C with the radiator on to moderate the temp.
For the price we paid, this was a great location. Half a block to the subway which connected to everywhere we wanted to go. Half a block to 5th Avenue, Next street over to 34th, easy walk to Macy's, Penn Station. More challenging but do-able walk to Times Square (or 2 subway stops). Staff was friendly & helpful, responded to our requests promptly. All-in-all, a good experience
The receptionist who greeted us, a short hair ladie, was super rude! Every time I needed to talk to her, she was rude and impatient. But the rest of the staff was really great to me and my friends.
Very nice Hotel. Good location and facilities. Good price.
It is an old building, small space, inconvenient
room was a bit cold, but we are used to overheat our rooms back home, so I guess it's all right
Breakfast, free WiFi, location!, staff.. Amazing value for money. Couldn't believe we were able to find so cheap accommodation in the heart of NY. Was expecting much, much worse, but the hotel is in good condition (in general).
breakfast was basic
Location was good
Walls are thin, so hope for neigbours that are not loud.
A basic, clean room. Good value for a little over 100 euro per night. Hairdryer and safe in room.
Reserved a room when the hotel was part of Comfort Inn. Was choosen because they had smoking rooms. When we arrived, Hotel was taken over by Hotel 35. Smoking no longer allowed. That's the only negative thing I could think of :)
Arrived in the middle of the historic Blizzard ... Staff was friendly, and showed us to our nice and WARM room. Breakfast as expected.
Rooms are too small, even for NY standards, and dated. Staff is not welcoming. Breakfast is terrible. In the end, there are better options for the same price in this city.
Location is very good.
Busy at breakfast if you went at 8 am, as this was when the school parties all descended; very busy and no where to sit. Easily rectified by turning up earlier though, so only a problem on the first morning.
Friendly and helpful staff Great view of the Empire State Building from bedroom window, though I imagine most rooms don't have this.
No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms
Excellent location, friendly helpful staff
Room is too noisy. You can hear everything from street and from other rooms on the same floor. What is more, the heating unit makes a strange noise that is hard to get used to it. If you wanna save some money stay there. If not, go to another place.
Location and small breakfast
The lifts were slow, but thats about all!
Right in the heart of Manhatten and near to everything. A very comfortable hotel with a great bar attached.
Could maybe do with extra lifts, only 2 and renovation on going at the time of our stay, which the workman also needed to use the same lifts. Would also benefit from tea/coffee facility in rooms
Friendly staff,nice and clean
Loved the location, the staff was helpful and the room was clean. My husband and I was very thankful that the staff was able to hail a cab for us. Never done that before and was nervous that we would not get one because there was an ice storm and most of the cab drivers stayed home.
Thought the free wifi was pretty slow having stayed here previously under the comfort inn brand and Internet was a lot better
The staff were very helpful especially Matt who always went out his way to do anything to make your stay better and I even had cold one day and was going to get me cold remedies which was so kind .
Temprature of shower changes all the time, the bed was too soft for me, I found a used cigarette under the bed, toilet doesn't flush right.
Location, size of the room, nice staff
Rubbish trucks were cleaning up the streets every night so the noise was slightly annoying, but we got used to it after a night or 2.
Great value, as we booked a room approx 10 months before our holiday. Excellent location for Times Square and other majors that you need to see e.g Madison Square Garden. Taxis are EVERYWHERE so you are never short of a ride somewhere. Room-wise we only cared about a good shower and a good sleep. Both were ok.
The breakfast is very good. There are many seats available and many different options to eat.
