Close to affordable restaurants and easy walk to major sites
Unable to control heat in room since it was radiator used AC to cool room
Too hot, could not adjust the temperature
It was really well located very close to all the site we wanted to visit. The hotel was very grand in its appearance and tastefully decorated.
I found the room a bit small especially the bathroom. Also we had to turn the a/c in cause it was too hot in the room.
the location, breakfast included, friendly staff, comfortable bed
the heat, it was too hot in my room, i couldn't turn the heat down. noise from outside but it is NYC.
Convenience - very close to Penn Station
Room was really tiny and the radiator was working on double time. Could not adjust the heat.
Location Staff Size of Room
The room and the complimentary breakfast!
Water pressure is very poor, elevators slow.
1. Location, Location!!! 2. The beds were comfortable which is a big deal for me specially if you are out sight seeing all day. 3. The convenient subway line down the block.
Old plumbing and cannot control water temperature.
This hotel was conveniently located to many sites. My young kids and I did a last minute trip to NYC and chose Hotel 35. It was perfect for what we needed. The staff was very accommodating. It was clean and we would return again.
The Hotel was very nice, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good and the rooms were cozy.
It took 20 min for the hot water to heat up in the shower, the toilet ran all night, when we complained at the front desk they just apologized .
was asked to pay $1150.00 instead of $990. ?
This cozy hotel is located a few blocks away from Macy's at Herald Square, a perfect spot for those wanting to see NYC during the holidays. It's also right by the Empire State Building (if you're lucky, you can see it from your hotel window), and Koreatown with all its great restaurants. I love the hotel's old-city charm and the staff was very warm and friendly.
Location of the hotel was very nice, close to Macy's and the subway. James and Brian were great. Good continental breakfast but the same thing every day got old. Good eggs and ham! Bed was very comfortable.
Bathroom in 1108 was a joke. Couldn't even sit on the toilet, no space. Pillows were way to thick (need 2 thick, 2 soft). TV kept scrambling to find a channel, very frustrating. Elevator was too slow. Needed a few more hangers. Website said "fitness room" but there was no fitness room. Shower had very little pressure and it was either scalding or cold.
Very friendly and helpful Staff. The hotel is very clean and has a great location.
location in walking distance to most attractions fair value for money, did the job for what we wanted.
heating and boiler systems can be temperamental, staff is overworked and not always able to help. breakfast very basic and very crowded
Such a great location . Friendly and efficient staff and that includes all staff.Food excellent. The cleanliness of hotel was superb. Will be recommending it to all my friends here in Ireland.
I really have nothing negative to say about any aspect of hotel or staff and hopefully in the future will visit again. So my hat off to all of you. Keep up the good work.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location great, walking distance to many attractions - Time Square, Empire State Building, Macys.
Room smaller than picture on website. Wardrobe door could only partially open due to close proximity to bed so had to walk in sideways. Insufficient hangers, only 8 hangers for a room sleeping 4 people. Breakfast ok if you don't mind choice of only scrambled/boiled eggs, ham, doughnuts or small muffins.
The location was fine...easy access to shopping and sightseeing.
The hotel rooms are small, and there is a lot of noise from the outside activities. Even from the 11th floor you could hear workers, street traffic, and sirens all night. There is no temperature control for the individual rooms. The "complimentary" breakfast was terrible, with very little selections, and the eating utensils were plastic, with paper plates and plastic glasses. I would not recommend this hotel; it's in dire need of upgrades!
Couldn't have picked a better location, the staff were great, the room was plenty big enough for the 4 of us, breakfast was good and included.O Reillys bar and restaurant over the road has a great atmosphere and if you show your room card you will get 15% of your food bill. I loved everything about Hotel 35 and would definitely stay there again
The location, the staff, the comfortable bed and the inclusive breakfast,
The slow lift and the dreadful bathroom - spotlessly clean, but the fittings were coming away from the walls and the water rarely produced enough to get you wet!
Location & Staff. Breakfast good.
Room was small. Toilet was near to impossible to use as it was a very cramped bathroom, No tea or coffee making facilities in room.
my daughter and I went up for the Thanksgiving Parade great location the doorman Matthew was so great in letting us know how to get around town using the subway for the first time will stay again
the breakfast service always crowded and hotel personal start to clean up at 9:30 AM
A few steps to Herald Square Station; close to Macy's, Empire State Building, Times Square, Penn Station, and Korean restaurants across the street
