the floor needs to be washed so as to eliminate the odor from men with bad aim!
I arrived late and was extremely tired so I went right to sleep. I woke up to unpack, when I opened the drawers I found condoms and marajuana. I have pics. I checked out. Kid friendly place??? Yeah right not even adult friendly. Just gross.
Room was dirty & outdated. Stains on curtains. Old lumpy mattress. Room had a bad smell
Quick and easy and they have smoking rooms
The facility was close to major highway.
1. Safety: Feeling unsafe upon arrival after 11pm. Guests are to stand outside and phone in to be admitted, leaving them completely alone off of a parking lot till buzzed into the building. (I rated staff only as "Fair" because it appeared to be a one person arrangement. It felt eerie and dangerous to be alone in a parking lot late at night with no visible security.) Fumbling with luggage in order to dial a phone to be admitted inside a facility makes a guest feel even more vulnerable to parking lot predators. 2. Cleanliness: Room had stuffy and horrible chemical odor throughout. Toilet had not been flushed! Bathroom sink had flecks of various DNA samples left behind from previous user! Kitchen sink had bread crumbs! Coffee pot still had the USED wet coffee grinds still in the coffee filter slot! Coffee cup in the cupboard had not been thoroughly washed and had coffee stain in the center of the cup! 3. Environment. Noise: Kids running and screaming in hall after 11:30 pm. Smells: Chicken was being cooked around 1am filling the hallway and room with its heavy smell. Cigarette smoke wafted into room from another venue. Toilets: There must be a plumbing issue with the toilets. Every time a toilet flushed in the building, you could hear it immediately being flushed AGAIN --as also was the case with the one in my room. What an inefficient and water-wasting plumbing system. Overall: I will never stay at an Extended Stay America again and caution others about making the same mistake. Though the receptionist was very nice, the conditions and oversight of this place belong to management and not to her. It is the worst place I've ever stayed in and I was too bloody exhausted from my 61/2 hour travel to leave and go elsewhere. Extended Stay America was a nightmare in every way.
I like that it provided for all your needs.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, told us how to use the subway system and the best places to visit. Always had cheerful demeanors.
It did not have a pool or hot tub and location was confusing.
More suited to a base than one night as the name suggests , quite expensive .
The cost was good, staff was friendly and my check-in/check-out was fast and efficient.
Although we got a smoking room, we still had to go out and buy some Febreeze. The smell when you first walked in the door was sort of overwhelming.
