The room was clean
We arrived there. We were not aware that there was interior construction going on on the third floor. At the time of check in there were not fumes. We were assigned to the secoind floor. That night, I woke up gasping for air, had a difficulty breathing and a headache. My fiancee' was also sick from this. We advised the assistant GM about the dangers of these toxins especially given the fact that one of us has asthma and reactive airway. They wanted us to take a room on the first floor after it was decided that the location would most likely have damp air quality as it was at the snow line level. That would not be good for asthma as well. Finally, after I had stated that I wanted a full refund of money as given the hotel, due to unhealthy conditions, it was decided by the GM that they would issue a refund. There was no need of prolonging this process and offering other rooms to us. They knew that I was suffering from the toxic fumes from the paint, carpet glue, etc. They should not have given us the refund, but rather should of issued the refund promptly, that day. Instead, we had to wait. They say its the policy of the hotel. I say is it policy to make a guest suffer needlessly when they had the knowledge of what these unknown conditions were doing to their guests. Porr way to handle a business and your guests.
We had to wait in reception for almost 15 minutes before we could finally check in. There was only one person there. I couldn't get the 'free' wifi and reception couldn't help. The room we had must have backed on to the laundry so there was noise through the wall during the night.
Lovely spacious room, clean & comfortable with good kitchen facilities but you have to go to the desk and ask for whatever utensils you need. There was a supermarket just a 5 minute drive away. Setting was lovely.
I booked on line and paid for a queen bed and when I checked in I received a double bed. Never really thought anything of it until we got in bed that night and then realized this is not a queen bed
Location was great, hidden but right in the middle of everything, very surprised by the room
grab & go breakfast obviously this is due to the fact that this establishment caters to long term stays and most of those people cook in their own rooms. Matter of expectations for normal one night stay.
Clean comfortable room good price for the area
Upon my arrival with my 17 year old son, they told me there was an error on their part with my booking of two beds in my room. They were going to put my son in his own room and it wasn't going to be near me either. I said that was totally unacceptable. She told me I could go and try to book a room at a nearby hotel. Clearly,I knew most everything was booked. During the night when someone knocked on door somewhere in the hall, for a total of three different times, I got nervous. I was afraid my son would think it was me knocking and open the door. That was between 1:30 and 3 am. I looked at their site overnight and noticed a king size bed in a single room. I certainly should have been offered that. I barely slept !!!
Prepare to be bombarded with the smell of smoke in the hall which ends up in the room. The room smells like a smoker stayed there in the past. Common theme among reviews -- smoke smell. Hotels need to get serious about smoking fines!!
Convenient location and the price was reasonable.
Single switch for light and fan in bathroom. A/C is noisy and switches on/off a lot. Pulling out top sheet also pulls out bottom sheet. Price is higher than in other cities.
Everything went smoothly. On-site laundry facilities.
no pool or hot tub
I haven't been to another hotel in America where there is just one double bed in the room.
Broken fridge Black spots in bed Smell in room of Indian spice and in the hallways. Was actually offered an air freshner in the hall from another guest. No pool No help what so ever to resolve any of these issues.
Not enough dishes and kitchen gear. Luckily,we had our camping dishes with us.
Fresh coffee in the lobby every morning. Good ergonomic chairs at the table and desk, full size refrigerator.
I needed business centre access.
Staff was Super friendly and accommodating! Perfect place to stay with a family. Very well placed for beaches, dining, shopping & attractions.
We requested NO smoking! when we arrived there said that I didn't request it. That was a lie...... It was late and we were tired and didn't feel like looking for another hotel!!!!! They said too bad that's all we have. Then no shampoo and no hair dryer!!!! All my clothes smelled after staying on that room. We felt as if we slept in an ashtray!!!!!!!
The exhaust fan in the bathroom was so loud that it disturbed the other occupant's sleep when the bathroom was used at night.
Location, price, staff.
If I would have know about how dirty and outdated my room was, I would have paid the money to stay some where else.
I stayed here because it was a good price for a hotel in the area
blanket had burn holes in it. Sheets had blood stains on them. It was a little in convenient that I had to take the sheets off and change them myself.
close to everything. room was bigger than I thought it would be. I requested and early check in and they were able to accommodate.
no shampoo in bathroom only hand and body soap, no hairdryer, out dated room decor; limited amenities (no breakfast, pool or fitness room); room window screens were torn
Free wifi; exterior well maintained and attractive, room was clean
Room smelled of urine, what looked to pubic hair all over the bed in the first room, bathroom had hair everywhere as well, stains on the bed sheets, and the pillows smelled like someone's unlaundered months old pillow case. Was given a new room to try but upon opening the door the room also reaked of pungent urine smell.
John at the front desk was very understanding and as accommodating as possible
Bathroom fan did not work. Even thou we did not specify handicap needs I think there should have been a shower mat and more safety bars in shower. Could have had better chair for sitting.
Friendliness of staff. Ease of check in & out. parking was convenient near rooms.
layout of the room is awkward, front door opens into the kitchen, closet has no door, curtains are very heavy and no sheers, so the windows are either totally dark or open to the parking lot. Bathroom fan very noisy, has a big door that interferes with the kitchen. We only stayed one night so no worries, but would not be great for an " extended stay".
quiet location, close enough to freeway and airport, good bed, nice staff, good vending machines, laundry machines available, modest free breakfast.
