When we arrived there were two men sitting in area near front door with case of beer drinking. As you came through front door there were a few other guys looking over ledge into the foyer drinking bud light with their cans sitting on the ledge. When we opened the door to our room it smelled terrible, almost like rotten fish. There were broken down AC units piled at bottom of stairwell.
The beds were comfortable
The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was well stocked with plenty of options.
no food other than vending machines and breakfast buffet in house; beds only full sized; single elevator was ridiculous
Difficult to find due to surrounding construction. Room advertised as a "suite", was more of a regular room with the addition of a pull out couch. Bathroom was tiny.
Friendly, efficient staff. Comfortable bed, very clean room.
Just that the dinning room was very crowded.
The room was clean and neat, and it was very quiet and I like that.
It was overpriced for what we got.
My double bed was comfy but too short - I am 6' tall and had to sleep slightly sideways.
Good b'fast, friendly helpful staff
Not far from the Biltmore, downtown, and breweries. Next year to add premium outlets within walking distance. Great location!
The eggs at the breakfast buffet were AWFUL, but everything else was great!
The location was so convenient, right off the highway and a decent seafood restaurant across the parking lot. Many options for the free breakfast.
Didn't care for the breakfast either day. Small breakfast eating area, had to take breakfast to room.
The accommodations were great. It is conveniently located and within minutes of Biltmore, Pisgah National Forest and downtown Asheville. Breakfast was very good.
Well I didn't care to much about the pets. Lucky my allergies didn't bother me.
Well I like the clean and great location along with the service of the staff. I'm glad I didn't smell smoking in my room and hallway. The stay was great and l will stay again when I come for another visit.
The bathroom was not as clean as it could be. The rate for the room seemed high for the space and quality of the location.
The hotel was close to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore.
Having to wait too long for elevator; had to take stairs on one occasion. Would be nice to have larger breakfast area, but wasn't really an issue in the end.
Bed and Bedding, Large Screen TV, Towels, Breakfast, Overall Cleanliness, Quiet Rooms
Breakfast was chaotic: enough food, with decent quality, but not enough room for the number of people. The buffet set-up too close to tables, the overall space is too small. Having tables in the meeting room for overflow was OK, but awkward. When there is a busload leaving at once, perhaps they should be accommodated separately.
Clean, comfortable & quiet.. Quick & easy check-in. Guest laundry. Nice lobby area. Easy on/off highway and close enough to Asheville downtown, and Biltmore. Fridge was convenient.
Coffee not so good. Don't know if it was the water or the coffee or both. Coffee in the dining room was bitter, and coffee made in the room tasted of chlorine or something!!
Location is close to everything. Comfortable room--clean. Comfortable bed and choice of pillows--soft or firm. Friendly staff-- very helpful.
There were hairs in my bed.
Free breakfast in the AM Friendly staff Decent rate 10 minutes from downtown 40ish minutes from Chimney Rock
when I opened the ice bucket there was short black hair & damp inside. Also when we had opened the soap to was our hands and placed in tray black short hair was stuck to soap. Overall everything else was clean.
Great location. We visited the Biltmore for two days and loved it.
Tiny bathroom 2 bottles of water in fridge would have been nicer
Room was comfortable and spacious
Only one elevator for the entire hotel. It was taking so long every time that I took five flight of stairs to avoid the hassle.
We planned to stay at CS the weekend of the Craft Fair in Asheville Oct.17 but the rate was inflated we are staying at a Quality Inn in Black Mt. Shame on Comfort Suites for price gouging.
Front desk clerk Kayla was great to work with...the friend I was travelling with had a heart attack while in Asheville and I had to extend my stay at CS for 3 extra nights. The manager gave me the corporate rate for the additional days.
location, staff, room
elevator was down and w were on 5th floor
Good hot breakfast, comfortable room
When I booked a room at this location I told them I had a dog but was never told of a $25 fee. Needless to say I was not happy and next year will stay at another Hotel
