Location is close to everything. Comfortable room--clean. Comfortable bed and choice of pillows--soft or firm. Friendly staff-- very helpful.
Coffee not so good. Don't know if it was the water or the coffee or both. Coffee in the dining room was bitter, and coffee made in the room tasted of chlorine or something!!
Free breakfast in the AM Friendly staff Decent rate 10 minutes from downtown 40ish minutes from Chimney Rock
There were hairs in my bed.
Great location. We visited the Biltmore for two days and loved it.
when I opened the ice bucket there was short black hair & damp inside. Also when we had opened the soap to was our hands and placed in tray black short hair was stuck to soap. Overall everything else was clean.
Room was comfortable and spacious
Tiny bathroom 2 bottles of water in fridge would have been nicer
Only one elevator for the entire hotel. It was taking so long every time that I took five flight of stairs to avoid the hassle.
Front desk clerk Kayla was great to work with...the friend I was travelling with had a heart attack while in Asheville and I had to extend my stay at CS for 3 extra nights. The manager gave me the corporate rate for the additional days.
We planned to stay at CS the weekend of the Craft Fair in Asheville Oct.17 but the rate was inflated we are staying at a Quality Inn in Black Mt. Shame on Comfort Suites for price gouging.
location, staff, room
Good hot breakfast, comfortable room
elevator was down and w were on 5th floor
When I booked a room at this location I told them I had a dog but was never told of a $25 fee. Needless to say I was not happy and next year will stay at another Hotel
room was clean and comfy
bathroom was crowded and poorly lit. will not stay at pet friendly hotel again. my dog does not bark!
Staff was good & effecient even though the hotel was full to capacity.
Only one operational elevator. Long waits for elevator at AM check out time.
The courtesy of the hotel staff to honor my request that booking.com had messed up.
I got to the hotel to find booking.com had never made my reservation with the hotel. Luckily I had the confirmation on my phone and the hotel had to up my room choice be c cause they did not have any of the requested rooms available.
Staff was friendly. The location was excellent for what we were doing.
We were on the 5th floor. The hotel only has one elevator. Consequently, during the "busy" times in the morning, you would have a long wait. I don't know what they would do if the elevator required maintenance!
Location was fine -- a ways outside Asheville but priced relatively well (given high local lodging prices). The beds were comfortable and we liked having a choice of firm pillows. There was also a small fridge and microwave that we could use. Check-in staff were pleasant and efficient.
Not really a 'suite' - just a large room with a sofa and coffee table at one end, besides a good desk and one chair. Decor is somewhat tired, bathroom corners could have used a good scrub. The serious problems were that there is only one elevator for a hotel this size (five floors), and the breakfast room was totally inadequate for the number of clients. (Many families with large numbers of children, the usual elderly travelers who like to sit and chat a long time after eating.) In the morning, there was no one at the desk for quite a long period of time.
Room was clean. Breakfast was good.
Lighting was dark and drab.
Convenient location. Clean.
Housekeeper knocked three times too early. Iced tea would be nice at breakfast.
It was very clean and in a good location.
They didn't honor the hotel booklet coupon I tried to use it on a weekend and week day as well.
It was a great weekend, very relaxing. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We would stay again.
This may sound silly but the thing that bothered us the most was that there were not enough breakfast trays to use. We would have liked to have had a hot tub on site.
The hotel was clean and the personnel were helpful and friendly.
I found it a bit overpriced but probably on par with the area
Room was perfectly clean. Breakfast was good.
A/C was awfully loud. But since the window didn't open we had to run it throughout the night. Didn't get much rest. Also the pack n'play ordered beforehand wasn't in the room when we arrived. It took the receptionist a while to find it.
Location was great, staff efficient, room clean and bed was fab
Room was clean and beds were really good. Slept well. Staff was very good.
Close to elevator. Noisy when in use.
The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing.
No sheets or pillows for sofa bed. Asked for a crib and it was really dirty food on the sides. Bathroom was dirty. I used bar of soap was left in the shower from previous guest. Not enough towels.
the location is really convenient- comfortable bed- good breakfast
rooms are dated, esp the carpet, it felt old and dirty-- bathrooms are very small--
